So there are in fact children that were taken hostage and some whose parents either one or both are dead. What does that say about Hamas that they took these hostages and that it took until now to release them?

What does that say about Hamas

it says that they scum of the earth & need to be eliminated.

they’ll be using this truce time to regroup

So, Hamas continues to release the people it captured illegally present on land owned by people living in forced exile in Gaza and beyond, and the Israeli regime begrudgingly responds by releasing a few of the thousands of Palestinian hostages it has taken, before and after the Hamas Rebellion, and not so begrudgingly continues to kill Palestinians because they dared to walk on Palestinian soil as if they had rights.

We can condemn Hamas but we must then condemn Israel for its disproportionate response where tens of thousands of Palestinian children have died under the rubble of their homes, bombed by the IDF.

There are no good actors in this horror movie.

Yes, both sides are driven by hate (and religion) and committing atrocities.

There are no good actors in this horror movie.

says about the same as the IDF who have slaughtered 9000 women and children....and who hold 2.3 million people hostage in the largest open air prison on earth...

What's your point ...

It is pretty inexcusable that they'd resort to kidnapping children. In Isreal's case, they will jail literal children just for throwing a stone at an IDF solider, what does that say about them?

Usually those are at least teenagers trying to commit assault. With Hamas it was actual toddlers.

Show me the proof that children are being targeted. I showed you my proof that Hamas targets children and it is 100% undeniable.

Say what you will about Israel, but what Hamas did on October 7th was absolutely evil.

Hamas or ISIS . . . What's the difference? Both are psychotic. The Israelis are doing everybody over there a favor by reducing this Iranian backed terrorist puppet to ashes.

Go get 'em!

Hamas tortured and murdered fathers, tortured raped and murdered mothers, and kidnapped some children. Others they tortured, raped, and murdered. Israel imprisoned violent militants who attacked IDF soldiers and other criminal acts. Now, in an act of desperation, Hamas frees some of the innocents they kidnapped.

Meanwhile, released Palestinian prisoners shout, "we are the sword of Mohammed Daf" (the leader of Hamas).

I fail to see the moral equivalency.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

According to IDF correspondent Alon Ben David the Israeli hostages were treated well. They werent tortured beaten or raped. They were fed as much as Hamas had to give, and were also provided with medicine, again limited by Hamas own supplies. They were allowed to get on with normal activites, although of course still under the supervision of their captors.

Black and white compared to how some of these Palestinians were treated in Israeli jail.

1 ( +7 / -6 )

Treated well once in captivity perhaps. After all, they are valuable items for Hamas to use to extract concessions. Plus, captured Hams terrorists have confessed that they were paid substantial bounties for each Israeli kidnapped.

The torture and rape occurred on October 7, and most of those abused by Hamas were subsequently murdered.

The torture and rape occurred on October 7,

This is still under investigation I believe

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Under investigation? Please. All you need to do is take a look at the body camera footage from devices worn by the Hamas barbarians to see the truth. Things happened that could not be described here.

At the end of September 2023, the Israel Prison Service (IPS) was holding 4,764 Palestinians in detention or in prison on what it defined “security” grounds, including 176 from the Gaza Strip. At that time, the IPS was also holding 932 Palestinians, 8 of them from the Gaza Strip, for being in Israel illegally. .......All of these so-called prisoners are being held with no charges against them, and there are many children to.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported last week that an Apache attack helicopter killed many people at the music festival, effectively unable to distinguish between friend and foe. Footage from the FLIR was leaked online over a week ago. And that explains the photos circulating of 30mm autocannon shells scattered around the site, not to mention much of the destruction, which is inconsistent with small arms.

It would be nice to read something like : “In an act of generosity, side X also decided to do such and such.”

Not just so many lumps of meat in exchange, but some open declaration of respect for the other side’s humanity.

There is head mounted video of Hamas terrorists gunning down civilians at random. It wasn't an Apache that through a grenade in the shelter there, either.

So the videos show rapes like you claim?

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

Correct. Apache helicopters don't throw grenades. They do however shoot them rapidly and long distances with the chin mounted M230 chain gun - 1200 of them. The FLIR video also showed it engaging fleeing vehicles with missiles and included the voice communications of the crew. That sort of firepower causes considerable collateral damage consistent with much of the damage there. If you look at the masses of burnt-out cars it's clear that something bigger went on then they are letting on.

The same report indicates the crew "skipped all restrictions" and engaged anything moving without authorization. More than one helicopter too.

Hamas are afraid, and they should be. Israel is going to wipe them out, along with the rest of those in Palestine. There can be no Peace until that is so now.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

There can be no peace until War mongering factions are eliminated or re-educated Globally, regardless to whom they ally themselves.

There is no justification for Hamas but please give us a break octobre 7!

According to amnesty international, the UN human rights, etc... over 4900 Palestinians are being held without charges, with trial without access to Legal representative, etc.. by Israel government! Some for years!

Before October 7th since 2009 over 6000 Palestinians have been killed bu IDF and vigilanty "settlers" with weapons supplies by the IDF and protected by the IDF!

In that same period less than 400 Israelis were killed by Palestinians.

But if we are to believe the propaganda, it is the Israelis that are the victims and in danger!

Well over 10 times the number of Palestinians killed with over half being women and children according to the UN!

Now the IDF bombs schools UNRWA safe zones, hospitals, etc.. killing well over 10,000 civilians over half being children!

The IDF are war criminals! And the Israeli government is an apartheid enforcement system in violation of human rights and multiple UN resolutions

Independent journalist confirming that the Hamas footage released by the IDF does not contain any beheading of children, evidence of torture, or rape. Horrific nonetheless, but there is no evidence for these claims repeated over and over again by Israel supporters.

As opposed to the IDF and Israelis secret police killing thousands of children and locking innocent people up without charges or trials, then claiming self-defense and hiding behind a USA Veto on any investigation or condemnation at the UN.

Talk about cowards!

I believe some sources are in order that Israel is assassinating children and the UN is doing nothing about Hamas, so that playing field is level.

This has nothing to do with a group of terrorists and its supporters murdering and kidnapping 1400 civilians who were not doing things like throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails, blowing up restaurants, shooting innocent people.
