Poland is only interested in living in peace, free from terrorist Russia.

Fears that Putin could prevail in Ukraine

Impossible.

Their air force is grounded, their navy is at the bottom of the Black Sea, their army is wiped out after human wave meat assaults.

Their economy is about to collapse and Putin has a new terminal illness every week.

And don't forget that the Russians have no answer for NATO game changing tanks.

-2 ( +7 / -9 )

Warsaw is clearly interested in correcting a historical wrong. Look at a map. Parts of the country to the east used to theirs.

-8 ( +4 / -12 )

“I will get it settled before I even become president,” Trump said.

”Why hasn’t he done it?”

3 ( +8 / -5 )

Harris is extremely irresponsible to be peddling this nonsense for political gain.

-2 ( +10 / -12 )

Read the article - the gist is Poles want a buffer zone. This means Galicia.

-7 ( +5 / -12 )

She’s absolutely right. If Ukraine falls, who’s next? And now that Russia can count on China, Russia will be more emboldened.

She’s absolutely right. If Ukraine falls, who’s next? And now that Russia can count on China, Russia will be more emboldened.

A Neo- Con fantasy. But hey, Dick Chaney is endorsing Harris.

To much blood has been spilled, run relentlessly under bridges.

President of Russia Vladimir Putin backed into a corner without a face saving exit route could launch a major all out assault on western Europe.

It is an absurd preposterous reckless path, to speculate hypothesize, ifs buts maybes of Ukraine's downfall in "who's next" supposition.

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

It is an absurd preposterous reckless path, to speculate hypothesize, ifs buts maybes

Yet you speculate, hypothesize even, that “Putin backed into a corner without a face saving exit route could launch a major all out assault on western Europe.”

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Bob, President of Russia Vladimir Putin has threatened the first use of tactical nuclear weapons, strikes in Europe.

Not either speculative, hypothetical.

The pertinent question is risking provoking a world war. calling his bluff.

Time maybe for "backdoor" diplomacy, along the lines of  President John F Kennedy solution to the Cuban crisis.

Is there not a danger that Europe/EU/US/UK/Russia are not sleepwalking into a point of no return.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Bob, President of Russia Vladimir Putin has threatened the first use of tactical nuclear weapons, strikes in Europe.

Moscow would cease to exist.

It's blustering.

Right wingers live in fear though, and respect blustering, so they are really scared and going on about doom, doom, and more doom. Oh yeah, and doom.

4 ( +9 / -5 )

We would all cease to exist Strangerland.

if cornered, would a humiliated President of Russia Vladimir Putin roll the nuclear dice?

Or is Putin bluffing, blustering?

When does doom become a reality?

That could depend if Putin solemnly believes there is noting to lose.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

We would all cease to exist Strangerland.

And so would Putin and Russia, which is all he cares about.

yes we know, “doom!”

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

When does doom become a reality?

Russias doom comes when they nuke anyone.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

“Otherwise, (Russian President Vladimir) Putin would be sitting in Kyiv with his eyes on the rest of Europe. Starting with Poland,” she said......She’s absolutely right. If Ukraine falls, who’s next?"

This is just scaremongering. Poland is a NATO member. Putin is neither interested nor crazy to attack a NATO country. End of story.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

The use of long-range missiles to strike the heart of Russia could easily lead to the use of tactical nukes, after all, what is the use of a deterrent if it does not deter.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

The use of long-range missiles to strike the heart of Russia could easily lead to the use of tactical nukes, after all, what is the use of a deterrent if it does not deter.

Yes Putin is tough, the right is scared, doom doom doom, give in to the strong man.

We get it.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

Russias doom comes when they nuke anyone.

Oh, do tell. Ever heard of MAD?

0 ( +4 / -4 )

This is just scaremongering. Poland is a NATO member. Putin is neither interested nor crazy to attack a NATO country.

You guys said they wouldn't attack Ukraine. How did that prediction turn out?

1 ( +6 / -5 )

A Neo- Con fantasy. But hey, Dick Chaney is endorsing Harris.

Yeah, not surprising at all . Cheney's " Saddam has WMDs and is going to use them against the US" goes well with the current White House scaremongering about Putin wanting to attack rest of Europe nonsense.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Russias doom comes when they nuke anyone.

Oh, do tell. Ever heard of MAD?

Do you not realize what the M in MAD stands for?

0 ( +3 / -3 )

"When does doom become a reality?......Russias doom comes when they nuke anyone."

The same doom would come to that " anyone" too.

But some NATO warmongers just want to keep on pushing and pushing.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

A EU initiated phased lift of punitive sanction, EU peacekeepers police the withdrawal of all Russian forces.

A start.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

A EU initiated phased lift of punitive sanction

Yes, must appease the dictator, right?

Because showing weakness to a dictator has made them stop in which examples of history?

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Bob, President of Russia Vladimir Putin has threatened the first use of tactical nuclear weapons, strikes in Europe.

Not either speculative, hypothetical.

Yet you said ‘could’ in your hypothetical speculation. Surely ‘an absurd preposterous reckless path’ wouldn’t you agree?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

What are Poland's true motives?

Ask yourself that after looking at a map and a history book which includes the previous.

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

The same doom would come to that " anyone" too.

Yes, that is how the Mutual part works.

Which is why Russia won't nuke anyone, because that would mean no more Russia.

Why do you guys think they aren't just as afraid as western nukes as you guys are of theirs? Remember, it's Russia against the entire planet - they're one target. Moscow just isn't that big.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

This is just scaremongering. Poland is a NATO member. Putin is neither interested nor crazy to attack a NATO country......You guys said they wouldn't attack Ukraine. How did that prediction turn out?

Ukraine is not a NATO member. Did you guys forget that? Big difference.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

What are Poland's true motives?

Not becoming the next nation invaded by Russia.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I'm curious which of you have grown up in a dictatorship? My parents were part of a revolution. Are you all speaking as armchair warriors, or have any of you actually lived any of this?

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Yeah, not surprising at all . Cheney's " Saddam has WMDs and is going to use them against the US" goes well with the current White House scaremongering about Putin wanting to attack rest of Europe nonsense.

The same doom would come to that " anyone" too.

But some NATO warmongers just want to keep on pushing and pushing.

Hmmm.....

"Russia on Monday threatened to strike British military facilities and said it would hold drills simulating the use of battlefield nuclear weapons amid sharply rising tensions over comments by senior Western officials about possibly deeper involvement in the war in Ukraine.

After summoning the British ambassador to the Foreign Ministry, Moscow warned that Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory with U.K.-supplied weapons could bring retaliatory strikes against British military facilities."

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Ukraine is not a NATO member. Did you guys forget that? Big difference.

Yes, the war would already have many more countries participating if Ukraine had been a NATO member.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

But some NATO warmongers just want to keep on pushing and pushing.

If Russia doesn't like it, Russia probably should have tried not starting a war, and should end the one they have. Now they're just facing accountability for bad decisions.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

"Former President Donald Trump twice refused to directly answer a question during the debate about whether he wanted U.S. ally Ukraine to win the war. Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris praised U.S. and NATO support for Ukraine in its fight against Russia's invasion so far — and called for it to continue."

Joe through his pride and arrogance initiated the Ukraine war but now with no solution in sight, their escape route is crying Poland, Poland? Aren't you glad the Polish votes in Polish elections?

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

I'm confused. Did a few million ethnic Russians move into Poland when I wasn't paying attention?

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Joe through his pride and arrogance initiated the Ukraine war

So you figure Putin is Biden's puppet?

You guys are really getting deep with the conspiracy theories...

0 ( +3 / -3 )

"My parents were part of a revolution. "

Which revolution?

"Are you all speaking as armchair warriors, or have any of you actually lived any of this?"

Part of my family has. And yet or perhaps because of it they all prefer peaceful solutions to the destruction and conflict escalation.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

"Could" on quite a number of occasions. Bob

I admit frankly I fear for the future, for my family in UK.

It is that simple, my own family self interest to survive.

There is always compromise,

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

I admit frankly I fear for the future, for my family in UK.

Do you think you live in more or less fear than the people of Ukraine?

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Which revolution?

The one that my parents lived through.

I've never said on here which country I'm from (other than America) and don't intend to start.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Part of my family has. And yet or perhaps because of it they all prefer peaceful solutions to the destruction and conflict escalation.

Interesting. The people of my parents country say the only way to beat a dictator is to be tougher than them.

But what do they know. They only overthrew a dictator.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

"But some NATO warmongers just want to keep on pushing and pushing..........If Russia doesn't like it, Russia probably should have tried not starting a war, and should end the one they have."

Putin didn't want one. Relentless decades old neocon and NATO expansion plans were the root cause of it. But I agree the current war should end. It's time for ceasefire talks. NATO fighting Russia "until the last Ukrainian" scenario is not preferable.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Putin didn't want one.

So who made him invade Ukraine? Who is he a puppet of? Xi? Biden?

Remember, Putin ordered the invasion. So you're saying he's weak and controlled?

0 ( +3 / -3 )

I agree the current war should end.

Putin doesn't. Why do you disagree with him.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

"Which revolution? The one that my parents lived through....Interesting. The people of my parents country say the only way to beat a dictator is to be tougher than them. But what do they know. They only overthrew a dictator."

Sure, ok then. 'People of your parents country' might have a different experience from people of other countries. Not all " revolutions " are the same. Just sayin

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Putin has foolishly recklessly succeeded to politically milltary "paint himself into a corner".

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Russia has not improved in civilization since 1939, so Poland is right to be afraid.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Putin didn't want one.

Who is to say the lying KGB thug didn't want one? Are supposed to believe is sad little face?

Relentless decades old neocon and NATO expansion plans were the root cause of it.

None of which is a military attack.

But I agree the current war should end. It's time for ceasefire talks. NATO fighting Russia "until the last Ukrainian" scenario is not preferable.

Putin doesn't want an unconditional ceasefire or anything like it. He already issued surrender demands.

Joe through his pride and arrogance initiated the Ukraine war

Through what specific actions?

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

"I agree the current war should end....Putin doesn't. Why do you disagree with him."

Why would I agree with Putin on everything? My opinion is the war should end asap.

Do you blindly agree with everything Biden/ Harris WH says?

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Putin didn't want one.....So who made him invade Ukraine?

I made that clear in the post above.

"Who is he a puppet of? Xi? Biden?"

Interesting question, I think neither. But then again now it could be Harris, Putin stated he supports her. Or it could be the other way around...could she be? ...Putin is cunning, wouldn't put anything past him ;)

Time maybe for "backdoor" diplomacy, along the lines of President John F Kennedy solution to the Cuban crisis.

The agreement that ended the Cuban missile crisis was that the US would not attack Cuba. I could get behind a similar obligation being place on Russia vis a vis Ukraine.

So cunning he added two NATO members and removed any sort of hesitancy of putting gear on Russia's border.

You go it all wrong Einstein! Zelensky is the Joes puppet and the sole savior of Liberalism. I wonder when he gonna drop the begging bowl hoping from one nation to another. Pride solves nothing time to stop that nonsensical war is now.

Tusk cancelled his prescheduled trip to Berlin.

The plot thickens.

What land has your country volunteered so that we know this plan can work?

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

No person's national land is changing hands.

Ukrainians, Crimeans, and now Kurskians disagree with you.

He's got two daughters. Presumably he doesn't want them going up in flames.

Wife and family, a huge sacrifice, unquestioning courage, testament to his bravery, honour, distinction, duty above all.

I have nothing but the upmost respect for President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the people of Ukraine.

Do you support their fight for independence or do you think the should surrender to Russia to get the war over with?

0 ( +4 / -4 )

Just trying to find out how much "utmost" means to you.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Don't believe everything Washington propaganda tells you.

They lie right? Something about a deep state innit?

Just like people of corruption align.

Aww, poor Russia.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

It will be handed over amicably once the locals see how they've been badly led down the garden trail and wish to join their brethren from Donbass and Crimea, who have better infrastructure, good governance and a prosperous path based on tolerance for all.
