The entire last 45 days of the campaign has been one of Harris surging and Trump cratering...

Just count up the Trump face-plants; "They're eating the dogs", "Vote on Jan 5th", "twerking silently for 39 minutes, ranting about Arnold Palmer's genitals, cosplaying as a fry cook and sanitation engineer, and the "Debacle at the Garden" - where all the MAGA hate and racism were on full display...

Then we have the obvious cognitive decline; “I won by like,” Trump said, “I lost by like…I didn’t lose.”

Trump figured out a few weeks ago he was going to lose - and it's been all about hustling the MAGA-masses since then...

They'll figure out how much Trump has been playing them for suckers next week...

The presidential candidates pitched rival agendas on the economy — and more — that each insisted is what Americans want.

Harris already has had my vote but on the economy there is not enough daylight between her and Trump.

That is the neo-liberal consensus for you. She talks an 'opportunity economy' he talks 'Opportunity zones'.

There is a long history of these proposals just being money pits to local officials with business plans that do little to help communities in need.

Basically, she should not be neck and neck with Trump.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

This may have been the moment Trump realized he was going to lose - his own campaign manager was caught grifting...

"Donald Trump considered firing his campaign manager Chris LaCivita after a bombshell report by the Daily Beast enraged the former president in the final stretch of his 2024 White House bid.

Sources told The Atlantic allegations that LaCivita had pocketed $22 million from his work on the Trump campaign and related super PACs, left Trump “fuming” and feeling like the story “made him look like a fool.”

The Beast’s story, published on Oct. 15, reportedly fueled the GOP presidential nominee‘s paranoia about disloyalty within his inner circle. Trump’s reaction came at a time when his controversial political strategist Corey Lewandowski was raising questions about the campaign’s spending."

https://www.thedailybeast.com/donald-trump-raged-at-daily-beast-revelation-that-campaign-boss-chris-lacivita-got-22-million/

In MAGA-world, only Trump is allowed to hustle, scam, and line his pockets...

Just ask Rudy Giuliani, who is still hoping Trump pays him the $2 million in legal fees he says he's owed...

Harris already has had my vote but on the economy there is not enough daylight between her and Trump.

Trump has mine, Harris doesn’t know the difference between a dime and a buck.

That is the neo-liberal consensus for you. She talks an 'opportunity economy' he talks 'Opportunity zones'.

She doesn’t know the first thing as to how an economy is built or structured, there is not one video where she can articulate in detail how an economy is built or functions

There is a long history of these proposals just being money pits to local officials with business plans that do little to help communities in need.

She hasn’t helped any community in 3 years, anyone that allows 3 million illegals and can’t find over 300k children she helped and protected no one, not even the most vulnerable.

Basically, she should not be neck and neck with Trump.

No, you are absolutely right about that! Lol

When you know you're losing, you have meltdowns like this;

"Trump was complaining about the microphone and told the crowd the stand was too low. “I came in today, I said, and, you know, this is after four of these things I’ve been in all fairness. I mean, I’m a human being, right? I come in, and here’s the problem…”

“I get so angry, I’m up here seething. I’m seething, I’m working my a$$ off with this stupid mic,” he carried on.

“I’m blowing out my left arm. Now I’m going to blow out my right arm, and I’m blowing out my damn throat too, because of these stupid people.”

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/trump-appears-emulate-sex-act-195316379.html

"Stupid people" - what he calls his own campaign team...at least he didn't call them "fat pigs" like he calls his supporters...

Then he did something else which I won't repeat here that you can read about in the link...

Just more proof that MAGA-world and the Trump campaign are in a death spiral...

I’m blowing out my left arm. Now I’m going to blow out my right arm, and I’m blowing out my damn throat too, because of these stupid people.

I think he's too old for this. He should retire...

With a Trump presidency, “Americans would be gambling with the economy, the rule of law and international peace.”

Harris up by 3% in Iowa now. I've got a feeling Harris is going to win by a comfortable margin, at least more so than I thought.

Eeexactly?

Wow, how pathetic is this....JD Vance gets maybe a handful of a crowd, then encourages them to all vote ILLEGALLY....

"Vance played to a thin crowd here on Friday in a field off Interstate 95. His wife, Usha Vance—an accomplished D.C. lawyer and former Supreme Court clerk—watched quietly as her husband gave a speech to a largely empty field."

"Almost everyone in attendance at The Farm on I95 had already voted. “What the hell are you guys doing here?” Vance asked when he realized he was talking entirely to the faithful. “Go get a friend and take them to the polls,” he commanded, telling them to vote ten times, once legally and nine more times by turning out so many friends.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/don-jr-crashes-sparse-vance-200600679.html

There's the ELECTION FRAUD our MAGA-friends have been whining about...which just proves projection is what MAGA-world is all about...

Most Black and Latino men don’t think so

Nope.

All of law enforcement and border patrol don’t think so

All?

Anyway, if it were true that "Harris doesn’t know the difference between a dime and a buck", the Economist, a highly respected publication that focuses on economics, wouldn't be endorsing her. I'll take their expert opinion over your "feeling".

6 ( +7 / -1 )

She doesn’t know the first thing as to how an economy is built or structured, there is not one video where she can articulate in detail how an economy is built or functions

The same tired: He is a great businessman!' tripe when everybody knows he is a serial bankrupt, bankrupted a casino, and as Michelle Obama said is a exemplar of failing forward, of the pernicious effects of legacy capital to promote the least amongst us, to give them infinite chances to seize power like Trump.

If Trump winds next week, it will be another testament to that.

Harris up by 3% in Iowa now.

Harris leads by a three-point margin, just within the 3.4-point margin of error. Well, that’s a bit more reassuring

Another left leaning liberal outlet, why wouldn’t they? Because if that we true, then why didn’t she do anything these last 4 years? But now she will do something? RoFL!

Considering Biden was down there in July by 18 points. That's quite a turnaround. Also just her being up there suggests a win nationally. Pretty sad that you're hanging your hat on, "well technically it's still within the MOE." Okay pall, whatever.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Another left leaning liberal outlet, why wouldn’t they?

This is such a clueless statement about political economy and why MAGA should not even be listened to.

The Economist is a neo-liberal mouthpiece of Wall Street and the City of London financial sector.

Often some good data based articles.

In no way 'left-leaning' unless the Wall Street Journal is also left.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Considering Biden was down there in July by 18 points. That's quite a turnaround.

It’s still leaning deep red. Not too worried

Also just her being up there suggests a win nationally.

Not necessarily

Pretty sad that you're hanging your hat on, "well technically it's still within the MOE." Okay pall, whatever.

When it starts to lean slight blue or yellow then we take it from there, so far, we’re not even close to being there.

Polls mean nothing!

well, until the left finds one poll they like. lol

Because if that we true, then why didn’t she do anything these last 4 years? But now she will do something? RoFL!*

Because she wasn’t president for these last 4 years.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Trump picture at top of the article makes him look really old and haggard.

.

The number of times he put his foot in his mouth, Like WW2 instead of WW3.

.

He may have shot himself in the foot with all of false claims and errors when doing speeches.

Probably cost him the election.

.

He is too buddy buddy with puton to be trusted.

Because she wasn’t president for these last 4 years.

wouldn’t have done a thing different and was the last person in the room for all poor decisions and was the tie breaking vote on more bills devastating to the people of the USA than any VP in history.

The same newspaper that endorsed Ronald Reagan and George W Bush… Hardly left.

And?

Because she wasn’t president for these last 4 years.

She was VP which means, she supported and backed Biden policies, so that means she’s more of the same, if not, why not distance herself from China and denounce his economic policies? She can do that. At least she would be somewhat believable, but she didn’t, says a lot.

With a Trump presidency, “Americans would be gambling with the economy,

I realize that not everyone is strong with numbers but 15-20% is not “most”!

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Trump picture at top of the article makes him look really old and haggard.

Trump visibly declining over the last few months in particular. The frail and unsteady attempt to get in the truck in what could have been a decent PR stunt wasn’t a good look.

The mental decline is clear, although as he has always spoken in word salads, some see at as just more Trump.

Hard to see 4 more years in the tank. I’d say he’s in worse shape than Biden was when he took office

If he wins, I would bet against him finishing the term.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Trump’s business acumen is mostly myth.

His records state something different.

His real talent is conning people into believing he’s a successful businessman.

His tax records, buildings, architectural designs and properties tell a different story.

With a lot of help from The Apprentice.

That as well and the book sales etc.

The Dems cannot lose even 8% of the Black vote because it will start to become a problem very fast for them and add in 6-12% of the Latino vote…..

Obama lecturing Black men was a real wake up and a huge FU moment to the former president from Black men

Like his six bankruptcies and failed businesses like his university.

Trump does not pay taxes.

"The documents contradict many of Trump's public claims to have a flourishing and prosperous business empire, showing that as a result of reporting losses in many years and receiving a $72.9 million tax refund, Trump paid no net federal income taxes in 11 of 18 years of the past two decades."

With a lot of help from The Apprentice.

> That as well and the book sales etc.

He's fired come Nov 5.

The problem is that any pertinent points that might actually "slap" a weak political argument are lost because of the style and tone of your comments,

So you’re basically saying, I should just keep my mouth shut and allow you guys to mock us?? Are you serious? If my tone sounds offensive, I’m just mirroring the person throwing that negativity back towards, I will send it back to them in the same manner.

which no one with a view different from yours can possibly take seriously or respect.

Ditto.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Trump’s business acumen is mostly myth.

According to the left? You don’t say…hmmm

Like his six bankruptcies and failed businesses like his university.

And he still is on top with his companies, I mean, that’s what the Dems were trying to steal from him and they failed miserably.

Trump does not pay taxes.

But politicians doing insider trading is ok?

"The documents contradict many of Trump's public claims to have a flourishing and prosperous business empire, showing that as a result of reporting losses in many years and receiving a $72.9 million tax refund, Trump paid no net federal income taxes in 11 of 18 years of the past two decades."

Look, if that’s all the Dems have, not only does it show how pathetic and desperate they are, but it shows that they have nothing so they just recycle the old news on Trump again and again .

He's fired come Nov 5.

Not him, but she will be. No room for Marxists in our nation

Someone posted the exact same thing before.

You can do both.

We have a positive view of the US and don’t see it as a garbage can as Trump sees it.

The alternative to us is dark, unhinged, senile and dangerous - particularly to women and their rights.

That seems to be part of the Democrat message. Have to wait and see if it hits home.

It is why I have never understood the MAGA argument about swamp draining and why people fall for it or Musk and Trump's proposals for a government efficiency commission run by him.

There is a lot of corruption in Washington but Trump is just replacing it with his own branded kleptocracy.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Just saw clips of Trump behaving strangely with a microphone on stage and calling himself the ‘king of fertilization’.

All very strange.

Question, is She Biden’s VP “Yes or No?”,

Quite the opposite.

So what were her accomplishments as VP?

She has made her policies very clear.

Not at all. If she denounced all of the good things that Biden achieved

like the infrastructure act and the Chips act,

So then why is Trump ahead when it comes to the economy overall?

it would look strange.

You keep using that phrase 'word salad'. I think it does not mean what you think it means.

Harris sounds like meaningless politico stump speech vanilla.

THIS is word salad:

Speaking to his MAGA crowd he said of Harris: “She had the other interview with the other guy who was a nice guy I think from Philadelphia from Pennsylvania, he was a nice guy, he was asking her all these (scrambles words) – the daily take – they don’t take like I do! Anybody wants to go, go what the hell differences they make – they have – and how dishonest was ABC..”

4 ( +5 / -1 )

All very strange.

I find Harris word salads even more strange

Harris does have a tendency to waffle.

That said, can you translate Trump’s answer on what his views on childcare are?

”But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I'm talking about, that because - look, child care is child care - couldn't, you know, it's something - you have to have it. In this country, you have to have it. But when you talk about those numbers compared to the kind of numbers that I'm talking about by taxing foreign nations at levels that they're not used to, but they'll get used to it very quickly”

5 ( +6 / -1 )

She broke the tie in the Senate several times. Pretty much what a Vice President’s job is.

That is not a policy? What has she done where Americans can agree that was a great accomplishment?

She has made her policies very clear.

No, she gave generalities, so again, what specific policies?

Educate yourself. Google “opportunity economy”…

I don’t need Google, I’m asking you since you boasted about it, you should have the specifics in your head

like the infrastructure act and the Chips act,

But nothing was done, you still don’t see a mass effort to overhaul or crumbling infrastructure.

Utter gibberish. I’ve come across countless non-native English speakers who make more sense than that.
