It is time for Kamala to step up and this is her Obama 2004 moment. She has not been given much opportunity but if you have seen her in Senate committees she can be a laser focused speaker. She is said to take apart Project 2025 as well as introducing her agenda.

There's also his silly proposal to cut income taxes and pay for everything by hiking tariffs. The only problem with that is you'd have to have 100%+ tariffs on goods to balance the budget. So yeah, obviously he doesn't have policies for everything, or at least policies that will actually work.

As someone who supported Biden last time around, but favours Trump this time, my view is that he lost last time because he appeared to me (at least via the media I was exposed to) as being concerned that the pandemic issues could hinder his re-election hopes, rather than simply doing a great job on the pandemic.

For outsiders, i.e. non-Americans, this election is going to be a particularly interesting insight into their national psyche.
The article describes Harris as an “unknown quantity”, which may have an element of truth to it. But her opponent is very much a known quantity. Indeed, his followers revel in what makes him a known quantity. As the phrase goes, “I like him because he hates the same people I do”.
The US has elected a non-white president before, and in both of his campaigns he wasn’t running against anyone remotely as extreme as Trump. So you would imagine they might be able to see past colour once again. But now there’s gender added into the mix.
Break the mold again, or re-elect a man who flushed the USA’s international reputation down the toilet?

These pro-life folks don't want to gear that "its OK to kill babies until the 15 week". They don't want to hear "its up to the states". They want a national abortion ban from the moment of conception - nothing less and never surrender....
