This is complete madness... Use it. Don't wait the pope to give you permission.

Africa or South Africa? 1.West,East and North Africa are mostly Muslims. They don't care about what the pope says. 2.Most cases of Aids are in Central and South Africa. So please stop spreading stereotypes and discrediting an entire continent.Or better if you don't know just shut it. Thank you From an African not infected by AIDS.

Is the Pope still relevant?

As a practicing Catholic, who has disagreed with the Vatican's position on condoms/birth control, among other things, for years, I am at least happy to see some common sense creeping into Church decisions.

I can't believe they're finally feeling guilty to the genocide the Catholic Church has been actively fighting for in Africa.

Followers of Islam commit heinous acts of terror and the catholic church fiddles-kiddies and covers it up, whilst condoning the spread of AIDS and uneccassary breeding. These sect's have a lot to answer for in the long list of man's in-humanity to fellow man.

So it's the Catholics intent to kill all Catholics in Africa with AIDS...Do you even listen to yourself?

Odd, I've been a Catholic for a few decades and I've accumulated more friends inside and outside of the religion than I can count and I can't remember a single one being a pedophile which includes dozens of priests. And unless I'm wrong I think it's generally pretty hard to get AIDS without having sex, the position that the Vatican has been pushing for years, so I'm having a hard time seeing, in any way, how the Church condones the spread of AIDS.

These sect's have a lot to answer for in the long list of man's in-humanity to fellow man.

A yes encouraging peaceful coexistence between Muslims, Jews, and Christians, condemning war, encouraging the humane treatment of immigrants, and being the single largest supplier of health care in the world, truly evil. The only leg you have to stand on comes in the form of a few monsters that use their status to engage in deviant acts with minors, and they have been condemned and turned in to the authorities as they should be.

"Do you even listen to yourself?"

Well I don't talk to myself. I imagine your a follower of the sect, hence the knee-jerk it's clearly induced on you. For that I am un-apologetic.

"And unless I'm wrong I think it's generally pretty hard to get AIDS without having sex, the position that the Vatican has been pushing for years, so I'm having a hard time seeing, in any way, how the Church condones the spread of AIDS."

Getting people to not have sex by abstenation is as ridiculous as actively looking for a fart in a jaccuzzi.

"The only leg you have to stand on comes in the form of a few monsters that use their status to engage in deviant acts with minors, and they have been condemned and turned in to the authorities as they should be."

So obviously you've been asleep throughout the thousands upon thousands of cases of child sex abuse within the Catholic Church, aided and abetted by presumably non-paedophilic higher-ups that continued to cover up the horror for decades?

"Condemned and turned in" my foot.
