I guess they felt they needed to counter the spread of the original version online with one that is "annotated" by an "expert".

Good. Out of respect for the victims of Nazi aggression. It is about time.

I believe in a free press. I would like to read this book, to see why he was so bent on killing my people.

Good news. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

"Mein Kampf" has been a bestseller all over the Middle East and Turkey for a long time, so this change only accomodates the changing demographics of Germany. My heart goes out to the small Jewish community though. Their future does not look good.

The stupidity of mankind exposed yet again! Next up, former death camps to be converted into theme parks complete with rides for the whole family.

Interesting. I was under the mistaken impression that publication was banned by the German government. I wasn't aware that it was a voluntary moratorium by the copyright holder.

The intelligent, strong of mind and decent people of Germany will benefit by reading the book and learning how such evil people think and operate.

Unfortunately must people in German are just like most people in the world; dumb, weak of will, and/or hateful.

Ban the book or print it openly, its a fine line. Will the former take the lessons learned and keep them to keep evil at bay? Or will the latter succumb to the evil again? Its truly anyone's guess.

Just in time for the new tsunami of ant-semitism thats going to wash over germanistan with its uber-flood of Islamic refugees.

the refugee:

" Ban the book or print it openly, its a fine line. "

Anybody who wanted to read the book has been able for a long time to do that by going to islamic websites such as "radioislam" (https://www.radioislam.org/).

It is a regular literature there. So the German government is simply addressing the reality that with the 1 million plus muslim newcomers, there will be a market for this.

the book is dangerous and should never be printed again. - article

It's not the book, it's the brain.

Too few, too angry, too stupid brains.

See, GOP Shia-Tea for the American version. Concentration Camps, Racial Prejudice and Homophobes are chanting destruction every day at the GOP rallies sponsored by Rump the Great and lovers of Pastor Swanson.

Hitler's not dead, his sprit lives on in the prejudice and packaging of a political party in the States.

Sadly, too many are joining the ranks and too many are ready to kill at their masters' orders.
