Home alone no more: Trump's chatty recovery from cabin fever

I was all by myself in the White House — it's a big, big house — except for all the guys out on the lawn with machine guns. I was waving to them. ... These are great people. And they don't play games. They don't, like, wave. They don't even smile. I was hoping that maybe somebody would come back and negotiate. But they didn't do that.

One wonders which direction the "machine guns" were pointed - to keep intruders out, or to keep an intruder in.

trump is a child. trump bemoans being alone. JUST A THOUGHT HERE. With trumps liking for A BIT ON THE SIDE, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, could one suppose trumpy was not as lonely as he makes out.

Being a PRAGMATIC CYNIC, I look for the obvious when the obvious seems to be overlooked.

The picture of Hugh Heffner meandering around his mansion in a dressing gown comes to mind, or Barney from the Simpsons in a food stained T-Shirt.

Emotion-driven.

It is all so surreal.

For those who love the Trump show, the Democrats are taking over the House and things are about to get even more interesting.

I'm going to need an extra big bag of popcorn for this.

He described channel-flipping and watching a different network — PBS — to fill the time.

LOL. Trump: 'Did I work? Nah. Read a book? Naaaah. Channel-flicking? Yep, all day.'

He also took a shot at his former defense secretary Jim Mattis, who resigned last month, saying he wasn't happy with the job Mattis had done in Afghanistan. "I mean, I wish him well," said Trump, "But, as you know, President Obama fired him and, essentially, so did I. I want results."

No, President Dumb Dumb. He quit and wrote a letter to the world saying how unfit you are for office. You did not “essentially” fire him. He walked away and gave you a nice little slap on the way out the door.

There will be no wall. Period.

I can just picture it - the man-child huffing and puffing, sitting in his seat, all alone in the WH, with his arms folded.
