Homeless man left to die on New York City street

Sad. A homeless man tried to help, then nobody tried to help him. He's a hero in my book. RIP.

Guatemala raised a man who tried to be a hero. New York raised people who aspire to be gawkers.

Absolutely sickening. Pity the passersby did not have the moral courage to do anything.

Pathetic actions by everybody who walked past this man. < :-)

Very sad !!!!!

This is like that story about that woman in a hospital waiting room who fell on the floor convulsing and struggling and no one batted an eyelash. She died because the other patients, and even the STAFF ignored her. A room full of people and no one cared. It's sick and makes me wonder what kind of world we live in today where people could turn a blind eye to something like this.

Very sad. The man is a hero. Is this a exposure of the hypocrisy of the liberal attitudes of NYC, that homeless people really don't matter?

Yes its very sad; horrible to think its even happening but i guess people are too frightened to do somethingin case they get hurt / injured themselves? I m not sure.....but even he tried to interfere in somethingand got stabbed cus he tried to help........sad endightement of todays society

A simple phone call to 911 from your mobile is such a big beal? On one hand Americans spend billions to help Haiti...on another hand, thing like this does happen! RIP, brave man.
