The new girl is an empty vessel who is supporting Trump because he’s her meal ticket.

Liz, hate her politics as I do, has a spine, tells the truth and doesn’t bend over.

She will be in the House long after the new girl has moved to Faux.

Heh. Trump is like the houseguest that will never leave. But the GOP chose him, and now they're stuck with him, and he will asphyxiate the party, preventing any new generation from emerging.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

She will win the vote but she has lost her soul. She has become the symbol of the spineless sycophants that are the republican house caucus.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

It is enjoyable watching republicans embrace their dysfunction as they continue to bend over for a con man.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

President Trump is the leader that they look to,” said Stefanik

Stefanik referred to Trump as “president” a number of times. A shameless dog whistle to those who stupidly believe the election was stolen.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Congrats to Stefanik! Now the GOP can start off on a good foot with someone that isn’t part of the rhino Washington establishment. People that are not happy about it, good! Makes me feel good knowing that there’s nothing they can do about this woman and the future candidates that will take back and reform the GOP amd that’s a good thing!

Knock out and knock down all establishment rhinos, one piece at a time. Lol

Bizarre choice who believes in all sorts of conspiracies.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Liz Cheney of Wyoming. Republicans tossed Cheney from that post for continually calling out former President Trump for helping spur the violent Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection and relentlessly pushing his false claims that voting fraud caused his November reelection defeat.

Local officials and judges from both parties around the country have declared there is no evidence Trump was cheated out of a win.

Liz Cheney one of the few honest republicans.

To some. Amazing how the left just adore and stick up for her when a year ago and before that, the woman was excoriated and vilified. Maybe, there’s a job waiting for her a CNN. Lol

And like with Romney and others, that love fest will end once the left abandon them again (they always do) they’ll stand alone like the rhinos they are.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

I'm not a democrat or republican so don't confuse my comments with those. Liz Cheney has a job. The Representative for Wyoming's at-large congressional district since 2017.

Oh we don't care about anyone on your team. You're all useless on both sides of your civil war.

We're just pointing out your guys cancel culture that you've perfected over decades.

The feeing is Mutual and you’re not American so, no need to worry.

No, because the woman can say what she wants, but she’s nuts if she thinks she can get 78 million people to turn aways from Trump, not going to happen and keeping her will only ensure the downfall of the GOP, so cut the cancer out and fix the problem and they did. The people will decide, NOT Liz Cheney, it’s not about her.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

78 million people to turn aways from Trump, n

If you believe 78 million people must be a fraud. Less than 50 million Trump supporters.

"He might find his way back into the public spotlight, but as of right now, he’s been effectively muted,”

Congratulations!

Before Elise Stefanik became a Trump cult leader, she said he was misogynistic and soft on Putin.

She also said he should release his tax returns.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

But Trump got 74.2 million votes. Does this mean you are saying there was fraud in the election?

If you believe 78 million people must be a fraud. Less than 50 million Trump supporters.

Local officials and judges from both parties around the country have declared there is no evidence Trump was cheated out of a win.

Worth repeating.

Blacklabel

But Trump got 74.2 million votes. Does this mean you are saying there was fraud in the election?

bass4funk has posted many times the number is 78 million. You say 74.2 million. So which one is correct? Since the elections and Jan 6 Trump supporters had fallen to less than 50 million. If he ran today, he would lose again.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

If you believe 78 million people must be a fraud. Less than 50 million Trump supporters.

Yeah, sure. Lol

"He might find his way back into the public spotlight, but as of right now, he’s been effectively muted,”

Until the rallies start up again. Get ready for a fantastic summer. Going to be hard for Dorsey and Zuckerberg to silence him. Lol

Before Elise Stefanik became a Trump cult leader, she said he was misogynistic and soft on Putin.

People can change, you said it yourself about Biden, so give the woman a chance.

She also said he should release his tax returns.

Again?!!!! Sigh....

When Trump was voted out of office his approval ratings hit 34% rock bottom.

"Support for former President Donald Trump among Republicans has fallen. According to a new NBC News poll, 44% of Republicans say they support the former president more than they support the Republican Party. That is a decline from 50% and the first time since July 2019 that party supporters outnumbered Trump supporters."

4 ( +4 / -0 )

this has no basis in fact. The data that exists shows 74.2 million votes. why would 24.2 million people have switched to supporting Joe Biden?

Since the elections and Jan 6 Trump supporters had fallen to less than 50 million.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Donald Trump received more votes than any Republican in history.

More votes than Barack Obama either time.

More votes than a sitting president ever had.

if more voters supported the “Republican Party” than Trump why is Liz Cheney gone? Why didn’t the anti Trump candidate win Texas instead of only getting 3%?

"Support for former President Donald Trump among Republicans has fallen.

Establishment Republicans, that is true, but they don’t make up the majority of conservatives that support him.

According to a new NBC News poll, 44% of Republicans say they support the former president more than they support the Republican Party. That is a decline from 50% and the first time since July 2019 that party supporters outnumbered Trump supporters."

Uh-huh, lol

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

More votes than a sitting president ever had.

Yeah, but no. I live in a freer society so I am allowed to say that 75 million is a smaller number than 81 million.

Biden's 81 million votes won is by far the most of any presidential candidate has ever received. Repeat that sentence after every GOPist gaslighting post and you'll realize they don't live in reality and want to actively overthrough a legitimate government by supporting local terrorism. The Big Lie must continue for them to receive an income. Not on par with the death squads of Mexico or Argentina but in lock step nonetheless

Blacklabel: Donald Trump received more votes than any Republican in history.

And finished a distant second. What conclusions can we draw about the GOP from that data?

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Donald Trump received more votes than any Republican in history.

More votes than Barack Obama either time.

More votes than a sitting president ever had.

And yet he lost by over 7 million votes. 81 is more than 74.

And after Jan 6th, there are millions of people who would not vote for him again. The GOP is bleeding support because it’s not a political party. It’s a cult.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

When you insult the members of your own party and call them a "cancer", causing a civil war that splits the party, diminishing the clear minority that resulted in losses in 2018 and 2020, and ensuring even less Repub voters in 2022 and 24....

You may be a Republican - and definitely a Loser...

Keep up the good work fellas...

Trump issued a statement Friday congratulating Stefanik, saying, “The House GOP is united and the Make America Great Again movement is Strong!”

You wish. In reality, the GOP is in disarray with the cultists and regulars declaring war on each other. The cancellation of Cheney was amusing, though.

Knock out and knock down all establishment rhinos, one piece at a time. Lol

More violent rhetoric.

Rep Stefanik's Repub leadership role interview....

The Repub caucus would like to ask you several questions to determine your qualifications;

Do 5G network towers cause COVID? Yes...

Are pizza parlors dangerous for children? Of course....

Do Jewish-funded space lasers cause forest fires? Undoubtedly...

Was the election stolen? Dang straight!

Do you support a balanced budget, states rights, and American leading the world? Not really....

OK - you're hired - you're our kind of conservative...

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Donald Trump received more votes than any Republican in history.

But nowhere enough to best Biden. Also, you’re talking about the popular vote, which you have repeatedly told us doesn’t matter when discussing a presidential election. Another screeching 180.

Trump still suffered a historical loss, one many thought it was impossible to lose. Defeated by Biden who received more votes than any presidential candidate in history. A landslide victory with the popular vote and the EC. A single term president who will be remembered for all the bad stuff like covid and his insurrection. Even his wife is done and never wants to return to the WH.

A Republican win in Red Texas is supposed to mean something?

@Black

this has no basis in fact. The data that exists shows 74.2 million votes. why would 24.2 million people have switched to supporting Joe Biden?

I don’t believe anyone said 24.2 million people switched to supporting Biden. It was (at least) that many stopped supporting Trump! After January 6th it’s probably even more than that and, if there were another election today, Trump would lose again, most likely by even more than the 7 million he lost the popular vote by last election.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Donald Trump received more votes than any Republican in history.

And he still lost...

More votes than Barack Obama either time.

And he still lost...

More votes than a sitting president ever had.

And he...well, you get the point...

if more voters supported the “Republican Party” than Trump why is Liz Cheney gone?

Because she said the Emperor had no clothes...

While the scared and cowed crowd expressed admiration at their Emporer's new "invisible" clothes, a small boy cried out... "But the Emperor has no clothes!"

Why didn’t the anti Trump candidate win Texas instead of only getting 3%?

Because the power was out and they counted the votes by candle light...

It’s always strange when someone who doesn’t trust polls cites them as evidence. As for how accurate these polls are: nobody polled me, any of my family, any of my extended family, any of my friends, and of my friends family, nor any of my coworkers or their families. Ergo, these polls are inaccurate.

And finished a distant second. What conclusions can we draw about the GOP from that data?

Landslide?

This talk of aligning with 45 is quite bizarre, but not without precedent. The Popes (antipopes) of Avignon knew a thing or two about setting up as boss whilst in exile.

Thing is, most decent folks won't take to an actual fascist dictating to the rest of America from Florida.

45 is going to jail, whether the GOP is unified or not.

Nice of you to admit that Americans should be worried by the path that Trump is taking the party. He has left no other option than to be a political lunatic in order to be heard on the right.

"bass4funk" does also have the right to dismiss other people's opinions if he so chooses, just as we have the right to dismiss his.

You wish. In reality, the GOP is in disarray with the cultists and regulars declaring war on each other.

The DNC seems to be having their own internal problems and they are festering between the socialists and the Marxists and Biden from the old guard of what was the former Democrat party trying to straddle the middle and keep everyone happy. Not doing that great of a job actually.

More violent rhetoric.

No violence, as bad as Liz is, conservatives are not going to follow Antifa and BLM footsteps.

Exactly.
