So if you claim that another person is carrying a deadly virus, the onus is on you to prove it.

The claim is that they are at a higher risk of carrying and transmitting it, for no logical reason. That can be proved easily in a scientific way. It is the same as arresting a drunk driver, it is not that it can be proved that he will cause an accident, but that it can be proved he is much more likely to do it than a sober driver.

Normal, approved vaccine side-effects, yes. For the current warpspeed mRNA treatments, the VAERS figures are off the scale.

So you blame adult diapers of horrible side effects as well? because that is the whole reason of the number of reports in VAERS, as long as the problems happen in the same degree in vaccinated and unvaccinated people obviously this means the vaccines (nor the adult diapers) are not to blame, it is simply the consequence of following a huge number of people with advanced age and many comorbidities.

If this was correlation instead of causation (i.e. normal background noise), it would be the same for all vaccines. It is not.

If would be, if the vaccinated groups are the same, but obviously they are not, just compare the number of people over 60yo that are vaccinated for "all vaccines" and you will easily understand why other vaccines report less health problems and deaths.

Yeah, so they're not antivax.

What they are not is congruent with their own beliefs, and capable of doing professionally their job either. Which is nothing new nor something that only happens in health services.

They probably witnessed first hand the effects of the covid vaccines

Something extremely unlikey according to the accumulated data from millions of people, what is much more likely is that they let their own bias convince them of something that was not there, this is also something unfortunately very frequent and that explains the huge numbers of complains over medical practice, sometimes people simply don't have the actual capacity to do their work and make wrong decisions, the problem with health care is that the patients are the ones that have to deal with the consequences of those mistakes.

the whole purpose of lockdowns was to prevent hospitals from being ”overwhelmed”

Not all people have the same capacity for a job, and sometimes a person can make a negative impact on the workplace making it better just by not being there. A small increase of the risk can destroy any benefit they bring, and not being able to account for their own bias is a terribly serious problem for people taking care of the health of others.

Express sister

Vaccine side-effects are known to be fleeting and mild.

I don't see the compulsion. Work in the developed world is voluntary.

It's always the same.

The right: The free market is perfect and is how we should organize society. If a company wants you to do something? Do it or quit. What, you want Uncle Sam to help you? Grow up.

A company: Our employees must do something Republicans don't like.

The right: help get the government involved someone call the police im being repressed this is worse than slavery

Blame it on their vaccine and put the onus on them to prove otherwise.

You actually need to prove something. When you make a claim, the onus is on you. That's how it works. For example:

Burning Bush is a criminal. He needs to prove me wrong.

Vaccine side-effects are known to be fleeting and mild.

Get over yourself. Qanon isn't real. Covid-19 is.

Blacklabel

So now its 97%+ that is needed, huh? where is the science on that one?

They keep inventing numbers, and nowhere to be seen are those who had the infection and have natural immunity. They are simply scrubbed from the figures.

U.S. hospitals fear staffing shortages as vaccine deadlines loom

Any employer that mandates a medical treatment for the employees should have to take liability for this treatment. If they refuse to do that for the current "operation warpspeed" experimental treatments, the affected people should get their lawyers.

Aaron Kheriaty, the Director of Medical Ethics Program at UCI Health is suing over this, see this interview:

the whole purpose of lockdowns was to prevent hospitals from being ”overwhelmed”

Now vaccine mandate time for politics, so they intentionally fire 10s of thousands of hospital workers.

Now hospitals are overwhelmed due to lack of staff/nurses/doctors, to the point where National Guard (military) have to work there instead of medical professionals.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

The irony is that most all of those healthcare workers have been mandated to have up to date vaccine records and likely even to have the annual flu shot for decades.

Yeah, so they're not antivax.

But for some reason, the Covid vaccine is where they draw the line.

They probably witnessed first hand the effects of the covid vaccines.

Then why is New York saying they have to use the national guard?

last years heroes, this year liberals gloat in their firing.

Some 16% of the state's 450,000 hospital staff, or roughly 72,000 workers, have not been fully vaccinated, the governor's office said.

trained medical professionals dont want this vaccine. Why?

That's a misleading generalization. Let's break down the numbers. NY reports 95% of its nurses and a higher rate of doctors are vaxxed. Those are the "medical professionals."

The higher rates of refusers, like 20%, are found among nursing home "staff," many of whose jobs are changing bed sheets and cooking, with pretty basic education and little medical knowledge. That was certainly the case with the staff at my parents' facilities. Nice folks and certified, but not highly educated.

In fact, this article's lead focuses on "staff" at facilities, and a large portion of hospitals' employees are non-medical people do a wide variety of menial jobs.

"I recommend you take it" he told the crowd, before hedging his encouragement, "but I believe in your freedoms 100 percent".

You left out the important part.

But he said this also;

I would recommend it," Mr Trump said during an interview on Fox News Primetime on Tuesday. "I would recommend it to a lot of people that don't want to get it and a lot of those people voted for me, frankly." He added: **"It's a great vaccine*, it's a safe vaccine and it's something that works.

'Safe and it works"....and "I would recommend it to a lot of people that voted for me"....so once again, why don't you believe him?

Im curious why you have nothing else to say, ever, except about Trump.

Even more so when this Biden mandate has nothing to do with Trump, whatsoever.

Trump said the vaccine was safe and effective, and you should take it.

So as a proud, consistent Trump supporter here on JT, why don't you believe him?

But for some reason, the Covid vaccine is where they draw the line.

And no one on team liberal has any curiosity at all about why that is.

I'm curious as to why the Trump supporters think he is lying when he says the vaccine is "safe, and it works"....

I'm curious as to why Trump was booed at his rally when he said his supporters should get vaccinated....

I'm curious as to why Trump supporters think the vaccine contains mind control chips....

instead just liberal celebration over people who lose their jobs, which is sad and borderline sick.

The nurses do have a choice: get the vax or get the axe. Try looking at it from the view of their patients.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

nurses are quitting, police are quitting, bus drivers are quitting, teachers are quitting.

Retail stores have asked for at least 90 more days to enforce the mandate as they wont have enough people to remain open full hours for the holiday season.

Just the beginning, our military appears to be next.

It’s strange that some people think that a vaccine that has helped millions of people will kill them but a virus that has killed millions of people won’t.

The irony is that most all of those healthcare workers have been mandated to have up to date vaccine records and likely even to have the annual flu shot for decades.

But for some reason, the Covid vaccine is where they draw the line.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Why don't the Trump supporters believe him?

I believe him.

Interesting....

You say you believe him when he says the vaccine is safe and effective, and that you should take it....

Yet you refuse the vaccine because in your view it is unsafe and ineffective....

Welcome to MAGA-world....

Curious that the article doesn’t touch on why they would risk everything instead of allowing that injection into their bodies.

Good point. I would like to hear, without the Democrat vs Trump supporters dynamic that the media pushes, why these trained healthcare professionals are against the vaccine to the point of sacrificing their livelihoods. But that would require old-school journalism.

I suspect they spend too much time in the far-right media bubble and are convinced the vaccine contains mind-control chips and causes your testicles to shrink...

I still wish the Trump supporters here had the courage to answer this question;

Trump has given the vaccine his full endorsement - even specifically saying his supporters need to take it. He said it is both safe and effective....on Fox News no less...

https://www.foxnews.com/media/trump-urges-all-americans-to-get-covid-vaccine-its-a-safe-vaccine

Why don't the Trump supporters believe him? Isn't he spreading dangerous misinformation about the vaccine? Why would he recommend his supporters to get vaccinated if it is in fact so dangerous?
