Biden wants to return to the same old endless cycle of terror attacks and responses from Israel. Guess what, Joe? Those days are gone and so are you.

Hamas wants peace.

Israel doesn’t.

Time to boycott Israel and stop sending missiles and bombs to the Israelis!

Hamas wants peace.

Israel doesn’t.

Hamas wants a respite proposed by fools so it can regroup and rearm.

Time to sanction Israel and put Netanyahu in jail for war crimes!

the only way to force these animals to the ceasefire table is to start sanctioning them and stop the flow of weapons!

Two state solution back to 1948 borders now!

What do you mean, a return?

Exactly

Israel is a terror state, plain and simple. Have been for years, it's just that the mask is off now and they are no longer trying to hide it.

Palestinians need to be protected from Israel. A 2 state solution is the only way forward from here.

Send in the Blue Helmets - and a LOT of them until the 2 states are established. Might take a few years, but it will save tens of thousands of Palestinian lives and offer those poor people hope in their homeland. They deserve it after what Israel has put them through for decades.

Hamas wants peace.

Israel doesn’t.

Hamas didn't want peace on October 7th, that's for sure.

What has changed in the interim?

Biden doesn't grasp that the Israeli regime can't continue its 20th century game of committee War Crimes and violating the ICSPCA in the 21st century of multipolarity and global information hitting people's attention without having to go through a White Bloc filter .

Add in the impossibility of hiding the slow genocide of Palestinians after people have seen the fast genocide, and you end up with Netanyahu's domestic need to keep the war going and the JSIP need to get the genocide accomplished while there's a chance combining to make it impossible for a Netanyahu lead JSIP to even pretend it will accept anything but carte blanche to continue the slaughter, even though that means destroying any illusion about the Israeli regime being democratic, liberal, the protector or voice of global Judaism, or somehow justified by the Holocaust.

Of course. Until Israel has made itself safe from the constant terrorist attacks, and until every single hostage is returned or accounted for and until every single Hamas terrorist is eradicated - why would Israel end it's campaign now? Keep going Israel - you've got this!

So much for the Beacon of Human right.

Always has been a terror state, ever since its creation.

Send in the Blue Helmets - and a LOT of them until the 2 states are established.

The fact that wasn't done proves the UN is useless. At most, they'll send a few UN observers who will as usual be "accidentally" murdered by Israel.

Genocidal criminal Netanyahu in stilted dialogue with the deranged Nikki Haley, who claims that Israel is fighting "America's enemies". Insane, unhinged beyond words. Imagine believing that all those children, old folks, journalists. UNRWA staff and all the rest are "America's enemies".

Hamas wants peace.

Hamas doesn’t want peace. If Hamas wanted peace they could return the hostages and surrender.

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

The criminal chutzpah of Netanyahu and his henchmen is possible only because they face no Nuremberg-style prosecutions of ALL the war criminals and their accomplices and the same punishments to deter future war-mongering criminals. We have the ICJ and the ICC whose authority is just a joke to the arrogant masters of war responsible for the last 8 months of carefully planned atrocities. However this obscenity ends, the perpetrators will pay a steep price for the millions of lives ruined and despoiled. Despite all this indescribable suffering Palestine will be free...( and the two Nakbas of the Arabs will stand in history books as an addendum to the Holocaust)

The funny part about this conflict is that Hamas is negotiating with Israel about when it will stop it's Extermination of the Palestinian people, while the people of Palestine are getting kicked in the teeth!!!

TWO TERRORISTS negotiating a GENOCIDE.

Netanyahu is the current day Pol Pot.

I understand this was a peace proposal put forward by negotiators from Israel....not the psycho Zionists currently running Israel , but esteemed and logic thinking people able to think outside the prism of war...war...war.

How many Israeli commentators have said Netanyahu is continuing this was for political {his survival } purposes....Past leaders, ex military and others.

It is a good speech and proposal by Biden.

Give it at least more than 24 hours before people who like war dismiss it.....some keyboard warriors on this forum as well

" In a separate statement, Netanyahu accepted an invitation from Congressional leaders to deliver an address at the Capitol, a show of wartime support. No date has been set. "

DISGUSTING, a war criminal addressing Congress !?

"Get someone as Prime Minister that will protect Israel"

Bibi

Oooohhh.. Bibi.

Do you go all misty-eyed when you write that, and swell up with pride and reverence, and other stuff?

You right-wing types have a bit of a thing for authoritarian strongmen, don't you.

Say what you want about liberals, they don't fawn over people like Biden the way you do with the likes of Trump and Netanyahu.

"the destruction of Hamas’ military and governing capabilities, the freeing of all hostages and ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel"

I don't like Bibi, but I agree 100% with the three objectives above.

? No, but I am happy that Bibi is laying scorched earth to Hamas.

You right-wing types have a bit of a thing for authoritarian strongmen, don't you.

Not sure about the part because I see more of the leftist leaders as such. But strongmen type leaders, it’s definitely refreshing.

Say what you want about liberals, they don't fawn over people like Biden the way you do with the likes of Trump and Netanyahu

I would never fawn over Biden. I thought he was incompetent back in the late 80’s and it has only worsened through the years.

Bibi is worlds no 1 war criminal followed by Putin.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

No friend of Bibi but he is right. A "permanent ceasefire" would simply mean handing victory to Hamas. In what way would that solve the situation?

Hamas can end this war at any time by surrendering and releasing the hostages.

-5 ( +5 / -10 )

Hamas didn't want peace on October 7th, that's for sure.

Israel describes a permanent cease-fire in Gaza as a 'nonstarter,' undermining Biden's proposal

Israel is a country.

Hamas is a terrorist group, and most of the Gaza occupiers support that group.

Israel will defend its people the way it deems best for itself. And it has the right to do so under international law.

Anyone pushing for a ceasefire as described by Hamas is a terrorist supporter.
