Why would the congress want to pass such a meaningless, stupid resolution. This was something that happened over 100 years ago! This resolution serves no purpose except to ailenate Turkey, a US ally.

America is home to approximately 1.5 million Armenians. Just because they are white does not mean they or their tragic history should be marginalised by the Obama administration. The real question is why President Obama tried to block this resolution.

No different then what Germany did to the jews. I watched a history channel production that strong alluded that Hitler got some of his ideas of mass murder from Turkey.

No difference. < :-)

"The resolution now goes to the full House, where prospects for passage are uncertain." Ya think?! It squeaked by 23-22 in the committee hearing. Sure is good to see that the Foreign Affairs Committee has actually found something constructive to debate, what with like no real problems in the world today. So what happens if/after it passes?
