All the freedom-loving, Federal Government-hating capitalists suddenly need the federal government’s help to rebuild.
Golly, who could have ever seen this one coming?
And they’ll need government insurance as not private insurance company would write a policy on a house right next to the ocean.

Watch the video.
One meteorogist said maybe global warming is influencing global weather but wouldn’t talk about its impact on this one specific hurricane.
Nobody called bs on anything.

Oh, no, no, no, it is all due to climate manipulation by the deep state to embarrass the Gov of Florida, lol. I couldn't make this doo-doo up.

There will be an exodus out of Florida after this hurricane, when homeowners realize they can't get affordable insurance anymore.
Florida will be underwater in our lifetimes, and the insurance companies know it.

There were much stronger hurricanes that hit Florida and the southern US a few hundred years ago. Some in the early 1900’s with many thousands of casualties. How is that explained?
Desert Tortoise
Hurricanes were not stronger 150 years ago. More died because there were no warnings possible. There were no weather satellites or other means to monitor the development of hurricanes and as a result nobody had any warning to evacuate.

We’re still here. One more reason to NOT live in South Florida

I agree that there were more deaths from lack of warning.
There were about five hurricanes that hit Florida stronger than Ian well before man-made climate change was even dreamed of.

A story on a devastating natural disaster causing mass death and destruction of homes and property, and we get posters gloating because the governor of Florida isn't on their "team."
Does being so concerned about politics and blue vs red teams that you forget about consolidation, bringing people together, and recognizing that we have more in common with one another than could ever separate us?

Yeah, even the top Meteorologists called BS on global warming.

And the hurricanes are going to be stronger every time due to global warming, but the medievals still don't want to understand it...

Hurricane Ian strikes South Carolina after deadly march across Florida
Can't blame this on the climate or SUVs,
And the number of hurricanes making landfall has decreased over the last 120 years.

Which is different from non-stop cradle to grave entitlements handed down like candy without limits.
That depends, it’s a case by case, and that all insurance will cover damages incurred by the hurricane, my aunt is going through that as we speak.
