I don't understand why any of these countries are hunting whales? The meat is full of toxins so it isn't healthy to eat, expecially for children! As for Japan saying they are hunting whales for research, why do they need to continue to hunt them, how much bloody research are they doing and what kind of so called research is it? There should be a worldwide ban on all whaling, no exceptions!!

Japan conducts commercial whaling through it's proxies in Iceland. One of the many international agreements Japan fails to uphold.
