“who has been on Death Row for more than 40 years and was to have been the first person executed in Idaho in 12 years”

The argument that the death penalty saves taxpayer money kind of falls apart taking this into consideration.

They need to try again and again.

They need to try again and again.

They tried 8 times. After waiting 40 years.

Don't stop or maybe choose a different form of execution.

Don't stop or maybe choose a different form of execution.

That would require new state legislation. There will also be appeals after this bungled attempt.

I thought you respected the process of law. Killing him without following established law would be murder. You can get the death penalty in Idaho for that, if you sit on death row for 40 years, possibly.

They should move fast.

Go for it.

I thought you respected the process of law.

I do.

Killing him without following established law would be murder.

An eye for an eye.

He’s been on death row for over 40 years. What’s your definition of ‘fast’?

An eye for an eye.

I was under the impression you were a Christian. Are you familiar with the 10 commandments?

What part of fast do you not understand?

I was under the impression you were a Christian.

And?

Are you familiar with the 10 commandments?

I believe in the Old Testament.

Thos shall not kill.

Thos shall not kill.

You mean, Thou.

You take a life intentionally, you forfeit yours

You just made my point for me.

You believe in "Thou Shalt Not Kill", the 6th commandment of God found in the Old Testament.

That you don’t believe in the 10 commandments? Or didn’t know they were the Old Testament? Ok.

I’m sure you know the pope officially condemned the death penalty under any circumstances, specifically citing ‘thou shall not kill’.

You take a life intentionally, you forfeit yours

But it’s not that simple is it and you don’t believe that absolutely do you?

The staff at the Idaho correctional facility were intentionally taking a life. Is theirs forfeit too?

Do you believe abortion doctors forfeit their lives?

Its not that black and white is it?

Christian conservatives abortion illegal in 21 states. 27 states still have the death penalty.

The Alabama Supreme Court stunned the nation earlier this week by ruling that frozen embryos are children under state law.

I got jabbed ten times for one of my IV insertions. Boo hoo.

Probably the real problem is no actual medical practitioner is allowed to do anything to assist.

Do you really believe a U.S. state would perform an execution by lethal injection without any medical professionals?

Doctor's take a Hippocratic Oath and nurses have something similar. I don't doubt the states are trying but people don't get into medicine to perform executions.

No.

Do you believe abortion doctors forfeit their lives?

Debatable, more complex

Its not that black and white is it?

It kind of is.

The bible doesn't have any exceptions listed, does it? So if you ever needed to fire off your pistol, you should expect the consequences to be felt by you as well, right?

No, not if it involves with defending my life, huge difference.

The Ten Commandments in the Old Testament superseded all of the rest.
