Donny's happy to use people and then throw them away. We've seen it time and again.

No, Bass, this has nothing to do with liberals or democrats.

Illegal aliens - who lied to trick someone into employing them (that’s two crimes) - is demanding a meeting with the President? Seriously! Maybe they can start by meeting with the leaders of their own countries so they wouldn’t have to flee to a horrible nation that they consider xenophobic and racist.

Pure speculation regarding how the gained employment.

This is going to be another Michael Cohen moment.

Pure speculation regarding how the gained employment

"Pure"? No, it isn't: "The Trump Organization has said it does not tolerate workers who lie about their status..."

I've been doing work for a client in Singapore . If I decided to go and work/live there and then lied on my visa application or sneaked into the country, and started work, I would be detained and then deported if the authorities found out. That's just how the world works (with the exception of Western Europe).

Why the double standard?

If they were working in the USA illegally, then they need to be charged and see the full extent of the laws brought to bare.

Whoever hired them need to be checked too and the boss for those people. If they didn't follow the legally required validation steps, they need to be held accountable too. If it is a systematic problem, then the accountability needs to be much more strict than if it is a 1-time accident 20 yrs ago. Different states have different laws around hiring illegal workers. The full extent of each of those laws needs to be applied.

The workers definitely knew they were breaking US law. There wasn't ignorance. It never should have happened. They never should have been working inside the USA.

Did any of the workers file for asylum in all these years? Were they working through that immigration process?

The troubles for Trump workers started in December when a maid who had made the president's bed at his club in Bedminster, New Jersey, told The New York Times that a supervisor there knew she and other housekeepers and workers were in the country illegally,

Then other workers at other Trump clubs without proper documents — some employed by him for a decade or more — began speaking out, and the Trump Organization began rounds of firings.

Sounds like this was a case of don't-ask-don't-tell. I'm here illegally, but the media should protect me if I badmouth Trump, or a Trump organization. Oops. That's what they get for trusting a news media outlet's representative/newsreader/reporter/Hillary worshipper. Once the status of these illegal aliens became public knowledge the only prudent course of action would be to follow existing rules, regulations, and laws.

Asking to meet with Trump guarantees that the news media outlets will jump at the chance to attack Trump. Again. Of course Trump didn't hire, or fire, these workers, but let's not let facts get in the way of a good rant.

What does the worker's lawyer(s) expect from a tete-a-tete with the President? A pardon?

The best laugh I've had all morning - Donnie "I'll build a wall and Mexico will pay for it" Trump having to confront the over 20 illegal immigrants he hired to work at his properties....HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Donnie: They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.” But I don't care, they work cheap!

Let's also invite the over 17 women that he has sexually harassed or assaulted. Then the thousands he has bilked out of money at Trump University. And all the contractors he has stiffed.

Let's make it a real "come to Jesus" meeting for this pervert, fraud, and con-man....

5 ( +7 / -2 )

"The Trump Organization has said it does not tolerate workers who lie about their status..."

And Donnie has a pretty clear track record of getting others to lie for him as proven by people speaking under oath attesting the fact.

And we are expected to believe the Trump Org had no idea what was going on all this time and then suddenly BAM they "find" 21 illegals in their organization out of the blue? Come on. Trumpeteers don't even believe that and its just more trolling from them.

No, its clear. Trump decided it was better optics to be a betrayer than a hypocrite. But what this proves most of all is that America needs these people to do the jobs Americans don't want to do.

They always do. If the man bought the wrong kind of toilet paper the msm would have a meltdown, especially if the roll is 2 ply.

Of course Trump didn't hire, or fire, these workers, but let's not let facts get in the way of a good rant.

Well, No one can prove he did know. Trump has thousands of employees and hundreds of managers, if anyone of them hired some illegals, that’s not his fault, but yeah, facts don’t matter to the msm.

So Trump hires illegal aliens. We already knew this going back to the 80s with Trump Tower. I'm betting illegals played a part in just about every Trump project in the US. We also know he imports foreign workers into his resorts and used chain migration for his wife.

But seriously, guys, he's against these things. Just, ya know, not 100% of the time and not for all people.

Instead of wasting their time trying to plead their non-case with the White House, these illegal invaders should be sent packing back to their home countries, properly apply for immigration (like they should have done in the first place), go to the back of the line and wait like everyone else, get approved and return here legally.

Problem solved.

"I believe he has a heart"

Why would anyone ever believe that?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

zichi - The Trump organisation should get a hefty fine for employing illegals some dating back 10 years.

All employers who hire illegal aliens should be fined for hiring illegal aliens. But first, you would have to pass legislation that makes it possible to do so.

Calling these Trump employees "Illegal Invaders" - who were welcomed to apply for a job at a Trump property, where the hiring personnel failed to check their immigrations status, and hired them anyway because they were illegal and could be paid less than the minimum wage.

Does it get any more hypocritical than that?

You don’t know that.

And you read this where again?

Many people suffer from dementia - there is no shame in this.

We see this in Pelosi, Biden and Hillary as well.

But he's no longer capable of performing his duties - time to step-down.

If that were the case, Nadler, Schumer and all the other senile Democrats need to step.

"We see this in Pelosi, Biden and Hillary as well."

You shouldn't insult any people claiming they have dementia and make light of it for the millions of sufferers and their families having to deal with it.

"What about..." arguments appear to be all some people can come up with, no matter how stupid and offensive they are.

"We all pay our taxes" -- article

How can illegals pay taxes on what they earn when they don't have Social Security numbers issued to them? Sounds like multiple cases of identity fraud. The DoJ and the IRS needs to investigate this issue.

@wipeout

Singapore isn't the world, it's just Singapore.

hello, I didnt say it was. I used that as an "example." as I have a connection to it. It could have easily been nearly 200 other countries, like, hey, Japan, S, Korea, Malaysia, etc. Do you think Japan would tolerate 10-15 million illegals? Japan rounded up and deported vast numbers of Iranians en-mass in the 90s with barely a peep from the SJW-types. Again, why the double standard?

the authorities can choose to be loose about enforcement..

The authorities, ie, the enforcers, usually have no such "choice" as they complain of being hamstrung from a variety of social or political reasons. That's why the head of the US Border Patrol Union is a staunch Trump supporter who wants the wall built. But hey, what would he know about this topic, eh.

Often those workers are "needed" to do the class of work they're involved in...

They show up uninvited and put themselves on the labor market, willing to work for a lot less than local workers. That's actually really bad for the economy, as it drives down wages and enriches lawbreaking employers. Policymakers should be obligated to put an end to this harmful arrangement.

Bass: And you read this where again?

The Mar-a-Lago club asked for 40 H-2B visas for servers and another 21 for cooks. The H-2B visa is for "temporary non-agricultural workers.” The resort made a similar request earlier this year, filing for 70 visas for restaurant staff as well as housekeepers in January.

and

Melania Trump's lawyer Michael Wildes in August confirmed that the first lady's parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs, obtained their U.S. citizenship through chain migration, after refusing to explain for some time. It is a program that the president has repeatedly spoken out against and threatened to end.

At least you're not trying to misconstrue his personal opinion as that of the entire border patrol.

And the only way they can be employed st substandard wages is if the employers agree.
