Resistance should be at 100% so we can see if this is a martial law president or not.

Resistance is futile. It is going to happen. And anyone getting in these agencies way will regret it. We never had all the law enforcement agencies work together like this for one common goal. This will be huge and illegals particularly the criminals need to get ready.

They feel they have been targeted for who they are

what they are. Illegal aliens.

This will be huge

Or at least Cult 47 will make it appear so.

If they actually did everything they promise, it would spell disaster for the US economy.

Resistance is futile.

That sounds like fascism to me.

No one should have unchecked power.

How will unaccompanied children be deported?

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Who are you going to blame when nothing actually changes? Pelosi again?

Nope. The funny thing is he actually now has to do all the things he promised he would and the buck stops with him.

How will unaccompanied children be deported?

as I said yesterday, not the priority. Also Biden administration admitted they have “lost” a lot of kids like this.

Ones they didn’t lose? have “sponsors” that they are living with.

who are connected to and know their actual families. If they don’t have a family, their country can take care of them same as other orphaned kids.

Most of the critics presumably are commenting from Japan, where a failure of a foreigner to have the proper visa or other immigration papers so often leads directly arrest, detainment and deportation -- without a lot of controversy.

Why the double standard, folks? Why is it OK for your adopted homeland - as well as almost every other non-Western country - to apply the immigration law to people who violate it - but it's NOT OK for the US to do likewise?

MAGAs got in the way of Biden at every step. The difference is the Democrats weren't willing to end the republic over it.

It is proven documented fact that 45 employed hundreds of undocumented immigrants. His tower was built by them.

It’s probably going to be like a cross between whack-a-mole and herding cats.

The "Great MAGA Illegal Immigrant Roundup"....

Will they all be deported?

Only if you consider Mar-A-Lago, Bedminster, and any other Trump property not part pf the US...

Trump is padding his illegal immigrant employment rolls for the next four years...just like he did before...

You know, like when he railed against illegal immigrants in 2016 - saying they're stealing us jobs...

But then went home to Bedminster and said hello to his illegal immigrant maid Victoria Morales - who worked for him until 2019...

"The 45-year-old immigrant from Guatemala worked for more than five years as a housekeeper at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey. She is also undocumented. Morales washed Trump’s clothes, made his bed, and scrubbed toilets at the private villa where he stays. She continued working there even after he won the presidency and he ramped up his rhetoric about immigrants like her, blaming them for rampant crime, job losses, and a host of other social problems."

Still waiting.

The same 2019 Vox article instead. The 2019 Axios one is next.

they won’t be answering you, ever.

I have little sympathy for people who immigrated to the US illegally.

I think mass arrests are wrong and not cost effective. The solution isn't to throw people out of the US, since they will just keep coming.

The solution needs to be to make it impossible to live in the US illegally. That means making it impossible to work or live anywhere without proper immigration papers and ID. Since a bunch of Americans are clearly "enabling" illegal workers, the laws to make them never hire someone illegally in the country or allow homes to be purchased/rented by someone illegally in the country need to have both huge fines AND criminal charges. Locking up a few corporate heads will get the attention of all the other companies and they will adjust their staffing for the new conditions OR risk multi-million dollar fine and years in jail.

When those things happen, people in the US illegally will have to leave on their own. They won't be able to earn a living.

Additionally, all public services need to be unavailable to people in the US illegally. No more carrots.

People who stay in the US illegally are skipping the line and violating US laws. That cannot be rewarded, like it has been the last 30+ yrs. No more rewards for breaking US laws.

If some immigrants are necessary for specific jobs, setup work visa programs that allow them to come and work for specific periods, but no bring their families. Only the worker should be allowed.

While they work, they can enter the Visa lottery for a legal way to immigrate, just like everyone else does. Fair is fair. We aren't against immigrants. We just want immigration to be controlled and legal. That isn't too much to ask.

That sounds like fascism to me.

Your point?

No one should have unchecked power.

They don’t, but you don’t have a nation if you can’t control your own borders, so this is a needed and good thing for the nation. Myorkas should never show his face in public again.

It is proven documented fact that 45 employed hundreds of undocumented immigrants. His tower was built by them.

Not sure what that has to do with the topic of them wanting to get illegals out of the country.

It’s interesting to me how illegals own homes and other properties and have jobs and cars and licenses.

They are treated like they are actually supposed to be here. Why?

See your local Home Depot, hotel, farm, meatpacking plant, etc. etc. Could all be ended with mandatory e-verify but you won't have it.
