I would argue the US has had the technology to do so for several decades. Both my team lead, a no-nonsense engineer, and I have encountered this separately many years apart. He saw it rise over a berm in the desert. I saw it over my home at night. The lighting is unmistakable. Updated versions have been used in combat in Afghanistan.

Don’t those fentanyl caused brain blown away office armchair ‘fighters’ have something better to do, something a little bit related to what they are excessively paid for? There aren’t such things like UFO, UAP or ETs out there, and even if, they would have existed or exist millions of lightyears distanced in time and space and therefore can’t make it to us in exactly the same time frame and location of our, human’s life on Earth. Btw, the rise of ‘occurrences’ and ‘sightings’ stems from more camera, smartphone usage and of course much more available computers and better video or photo manipulation software.

@Sven Asai, do some reading. Space travel at greater than the speed of light is not impossible. Physics suggests ways to achieve it but it requires a lot of energy and the material science is daunting with the current state of technology. Nonetheless it is probably not impossible.
