Modi was elected to power on a platform of bigotry and fake nationalism.

India has enough money to build the 'Statue of Unity' at a cost of 400 million USD (apparently Modi was so inspired by the Statue of Liberty when he lived in the US long ago that he decided that something similar is needed in India, but the idiot forgot that the ideals the Statue of Liberty represents is completely at odds with the hatred that his party specializes in spreading). Modi also has enough money to build a temple to pander to his support base.

So if Indians (or specifically the dumb-bhakts) elected him to build statues and temples, not to build hospitals or ramp up India's patchy healthcare system, this news should not really be a surprise. After all, these dumb-bhakts anyways think that the hard working Modi is doing a great job in tackling the pandemic as per the 'facts' dished out daily by Modi's IT brigade -

The positive is that they don’t have a leader asking people to inject themselves with bleach or run lasers through the body.

Complacency has driven India, Japan and many other countries into another crisis.

Social distancing, wearing masks, hygiene are the key. The vaccine cannot catch up if people let down their guards.

Throwing out old debunked partisan talking points about a past leader of a different country is a bit off topic.

Well according to the article health experts are split on the cause of the current wave of infections in India. Some say that people have let down their guard while others say the surge is due to a new more virulent strain. The problem seems to be that the scientists are still unable to get their act together more than a year after the pandemic’s onset. At the beginning the US’s best infectious disease expert was telling the public not to wear a mask. His only job was to inform the nation on how to respond to a pandemic and he was too incompetent to get that right. It’s no wonder that developing countries like India are struggling so much.

@Wolfpack

Have you got any idea on how science research works?

Daily vaccination shots in India?

Who are the vaccine suppliers?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The thing is that while India is the largest vaccine maker in the world, the US decided to restrict India from getting the supplies needed for India to ramp up its production for its domestic use after most of the on hand supplies had been locked up to fulfill its production for places like Canada and Europe.

Have you got any idea on how science research works?

Yes I do. But the politicians keep telling us to “believe the science” as if it’s always infallible and isn’t to be questioned. If the science cannot be questioned and the debate is over, why are we told things that turn out not to be true? Where is the line between the uncertainty of the scientific method and misinformation?

Let me guess - Trump is killing Indians now?

It is very clear how this has happened. There's multiple videos showing massive hordes of people gathering everywhere across India with zero social distancing and no masks. The Ganga Aarti procession along the banks of the Ganges river. Large political gatherings and demonstrations Modi had allowed to happen with no restrictions. Does not take a rocket scientist to know these were perfect storm conditions for the virus to explode.

Very unfortunate and sad, but somewhat preventable situation.

The usual bigotry and hate and towards Santana Dharma ..there are mostly two types..this Evil Buddha fits either of them.

Now for reality checks, Modi never lived in the US, he though visited the US many times, that Statue of Unity has everything to do with Unity, and the individual who made it possible, nothing to do with his party, his party did not exist at that time, Patel was a congress leader.

That temple is being re-built after it was destroyed by you know who, as such it will be re-built new temple.

As for hatred, Modi is hated by a lot, as he is doing exactly what is required for his country..literally billions have been spent on this hatred, all directed at Modi.. the more the hatred the more powerful he comes, COVID is though taking care of some of these haters..may want to watch out.

Now that bhakt and related terminology was also coined by a paid hater.. you definitely know who it was , right.

As for hospitals, you mean public hospitals not private, as there are literally mind boggling private hospitals.. as for public hospitals.. start with the top end AIIMS, In 2014 there were 7 , now there are 15...

Modi did do a great job of handling Wave1 of the pandemic, after the cases reduced to leass than 10%, he handed it over to the states to manage COVID, now this is where many state governments (mostly non BJP) were found wanting and that's the reason for the Wave2.. and thanks to COVID in-part, everyone, especially the paid haters, know who is doing what..

"Now for reality checks, Modi never lived in the US"

Wrong.

https://www.firstpost.com/world/summer-of-93-check-out-young-narendra-modi-hanging-out-in-us-1730697.html

New York was like a second-home" for Narendra Modi who stayed for weeks at a time in the US as a party apparatchik tasked with spreading the gospel of the sangh parivar in America.

You seem to be short on facts and high on propaganda just like your idiotic PM Modi so I will not bother wasting my time on debunking whatever else you wrote.
