We have multiple American an posters who have never served their country in uniform but who incessantly post online and claim to have e served their country. Ridiculous, isn’t if?

It's remarkable just how many of these patriotic American Trump supporters with extreme right wing views on JT turn out not to be American at all.

During the build up to the US election last autumn I asked one of the most prolific pro-Trump posters on here what part of the US he was from and what kind of work he did in Japan that allowed him to post on here 16 hours a day. He disappeared. When he reappeared a few days later he admitted to someone he wasn't actually American at all but was still a staunch Trump supporter.

India is probably the weak link in the Quad and it ever becoming an alliance. Yes Japan has to compete with it's article 9 but it is willing to stand up to China and not pander to Russia at the same time.

Russia and China for now find it beneficial to be closer militarily. India wants to be on both side's but has issues with China encroaching on it's borders.

India gets many weapons from Russia and would like to keep that supply ongoing.

So while India wants support against China, it tries to balance the Russia/US equation. This could become more difficult very soon.

Fine to want good relations with everyone but sometimes you have to lean one way or another in the wind, or be blown over all together.

Tread carefully India.

"India is probably the weak link in the Quad"

India has historical and deep rooted antipathy against China unlike Australia which had a substantial trade relationship with China and only when that relationship soured did it come out openly against China.

"Japan has to compete with it's article 9 but it is willing to stand up to China and not pander to Russia at the same time."

Japan has territorial disputes with Russia, which India does not. If the intent is to form an alliance against China then India will come on board but if the intent is to hyphenate China along with Russia then India will hesitate. The same way that many European countries which face a threat from Russia will hesitate to call out China because they benefit from a trade relationship with China.

"India gets many weapons from Russia and would like to keep that supply ongoing."

Its not just about weapons. Russia has helped India in various defense projects like building a supersonic cruise missile and has been more readily agreeable to transfer technology than the US or any other Western nation. Indian astronauts have been trained in Russia and currently India and Russia are jointly building a hypersonic missile.

This would seem difficult to understand if one is coming from an Anglocentric worldview but the US has always been an unreliable nation for India. The exceptions that US makes for its Anglosphere allies like UK, Australia or even a NATO ally like Japan will never be made for India, so it makes sense for India to continue its historical relationship with Russia.

Not surprising at all considering there are many logical well-reasoning people around the world who don't mindlessly buy into the leftist global gunk.

Conversely, it's amazing how many non-American demented puppet joe supporters are out there.

But I supported that in my above comment.

However, on point. India is backing itself into a corner. They are playing dangerous game.

Fascinating. I also need to proofread before pushing post.

When the USSR and China were rivals, India had close ties with the USSR (ex: India was the only South Asian nation to recognise the government made by the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan)

Once Russia and China becoming closer together, India getting closer with the US (also economically: Silicon Valley has many Indian CEOs)
