The sadhu smoking weed will attain nirvana for sure.

It's worth noting that cannabis is illegal in India inspite of its significance in Hinduism. Looks like the Hindu nationalist government has their priorities mixed up.

I had several Sadhu friends who would attend the great Maha Kumbh festival. Many Western friends attended but I did not. Also, I knew many Bengali musicians. We would enjoy music and food in our large London garden. Most have passed away.

I think the Maha Kumbh is a wonder of the world.

Bhaskar Bhattacharyya was a friend who introduced me to the Baul sufi minstrels of Bengal. One even stayed for a while in my home.
