If there were truly nothing to worry about, Trump and his followers would keep their mouths shut and allow Mueller to conclude his investigation.
Instead, we get conspiracy theories about a lifelong republican and former Marine being a democratic pawn along with baseless claims that the investigators are bias. Funny, we have ample evidence of republicans being unable to separate their personal bias from their professionl work, but scant evidence of democrats doing so.

How many guilty pleas and verdicts have emanated from this "dud of the century?"
It's also not how the investigative bodies of the federal government work close to an election because it gives the impression of trying to influence the outcome of the election.
Your posts are hilariously transparent. Perhaps you would be more effective on other boards. You should ask your comrades for a transfer to a different section of the farm.

Perfect. Now that "corrupt" Sessions and "corrupt" Rosenstein are out of the picture, they should be able to blow the lid off the "corrupt" investigation.
But they won't, and Trump fans won't even notice.

Trump believes that the US Senate is his, that the Supreme Court is his and that the Justice Department (now that he's done away with that pesky Jeff Sessions) is also his.
I have faith that Mueller has foreseen any moves that Trump and Whitaker can cook up to try to quash the investigation. In fact Sessions "resignation" and Whitaker's unorthodox appointment might end up just adding to the obstruction of justice file that Mueller is building.

He thinks judges should have a "New Testament" view of upholding the law, whatever that might mean, but at the same time has had links to a company that ripped off veterans. Just the man for the job I'm sure.

Great to see the president concerned about costs. Better get the WH accountant on to how much his trips to La Margo and his golfing expeditions costs.
A man with a record of being a proven scammer stealing money from veterans. I can see why Trump see's him as my sort of man. What happened to draining the swamp?
bass4funk
Theoretically, it is, with more power than never
It is more conservative and was more power than never
Most definitely now it is.
They can easily now by depriving it up sons in starving it
Yeah, good luck with that one.

Anyone have the faintest idea what this is supposed to mean?

"The president has said repeatedly he's not going to dismiss the Mueller investigation," McConnell told reporters at Kentucky's Capitol. "He's said repeatedly it's going to be allowed to finish. That also happens to be my view."

This is a completely inaccurate statement. Neither house of Congress is the president's; it's called separation of powers. Try being slightly accurate.
It is more conservative, but has the same power as it's had since Marbury v Madison. Cursory research would help you not constantly be incorrect.

Sorry, typo. What the DOJ can do under Whitaker’s helm they can stop funding this witch hunt and there’s nothing thr Democrats can do about, so in other words, Trump and his lawyers to be more precise don’t have to worry, they just let Mueller do what he is already doing and then Whitaker stops the funding, so right now the Mueller investigation costs about $3 million USD a month on average, Whitaker can save that money.

Reckon he needs a bit more scrutiny too,
Donald Trump’s new acting attorney general, Matthew Whitaker, was involved in a company that scammed US military veterans out of their life savings, according to court filings and interviews.

Oppose and obstruct in every possible way.
It’s going to be glorious.
bass4funk
Yes and no, the President from the Senate side with a bigger majority has a lot more power
This is why the Democrats are not THAT happy, they got the House, but at a slimmer margin, that blue wave turned out to be a purple wave, this is as accurate as it gets, gridlock is good!
SuperLib
Why would he stop the funding? And do you think that's why Trump hired him?

"Oppose and obstruct in every possible way. It’s going to be glorious."
Not glorious. Sad. If they do this, they will pay dearly in 2020.

@Serrano
That was the GOP strategy during the entire Obama administration and they ended up with Congress and the White House in 2016.

The Russian collusion investigation really is just an excuse to dig whatever dirt they can find on Trump. They use the excuse to access information. They know there is nothing on the Russian part but as long as they find some skeletons in his closets (though not related to the original accusation), they can still fry him. That's how they play this game.
There was a Russian hack narrative mentioned before the recent election. If things didn't go well, the people will get to hear about it.

You must have concrete info to say this so definitely. Do you have a source to support that claim? From what I've read, the investigations remain ongoing.
