What a disaster! Did they use Chinese-made vaccines? If so, how many were inoculated?

Yes, they used both variants of the Chinese vaccine. It has turned into a bit of a PR disaster for the Chinese.

3% are vaccinated.

There was a lock down last year and internal migrants could not return to their hometowns after ramadan.

This year the government could not deny that outflow from Java this year which has led to are spread to far flung islands.

20 medical doctors have died of covid in the last 2 or 3 weeks.

These countries need serious help.

And it is heartening to see many countries supplying help when it is needed most. Maybe there is hope for our planet after all.

I wonder if the moderator will believe that you really verified all 6 usernames on that list specifically said “it is no worse than influenza” within that less than 20 min gap of time.

or is it just more misinformation from you? I know which one I would choose.

its too bad the WHO lied so much in those days. We don’t get to see how different approaches from different countries with different medicines would have worked out.

Can you remind us who said that "it is no worse than influenza"? I mean, with "lots of posters" I should remember at least one.

Who can forget that "it's no worse than influenza" has long been one of those fatuous but often fatal righty memes that have wormed their way into the heads of American Trump true-believers and Brazilian Bolsonaristas, two of the world's victims of the virus who have surely paid the heaviest price for their "follow the leader" groupthink?

Seems pretty serious for something a lot if posters keep telling us is no worse than influenza

Lots of people criticize getting worried about an increase in the number of cases and taking measures even when deaths remain low, this is the kind of situation that is being prevented by doing that.

It would be crazy to wait until the spreading goes completely out of control to do something, that is why people, experts, governments act as soon as the daily cases increase, even if the total number is still manageable, because preventing an explosive growth is much easier than solving it once it happened.

Must be a coincidence, but strangely it is the same coincidence that occurred in India, Switzerland, and other countries.

Got any data for that chief or is it a coincidence?

The link you provided is from 14 months ago. How about something a little more recent?

So, the death rates go up just after the WHO forces Indonesia to stop using HCQ:

Wonder if their problem is due in part to overdevelopment . . . trees, and plants are necessary to create oxygen through photosynthesis.

The elite running Indonesia's gangster capitalism made no preparation or provision for a pandemic that would overwhelm its ramshackle health system. If the anti-communist Indonesians ask nicely, maybe the Cubans can help, since, funnily enough, Covid-19 seems to bring out the "socialism" in folk.

Those figures are widely believed to be a vast undercount due to low testing and poor tracing measures

Reminds me of another country. No names, but let's just say at least Indonesia isn't holding a massive super-spreader event this month.

I thought they had just authorized Ivermectin. Should be seeing complete recovery any day now.

Overall, Indonesia, the world’s fourth-most populous country, has reported more than 2.4 million infections and 63,760 fatalities from COVID-19. Those figures are widely believed to be a vast undercount due to low testing and poor tracing measures. On Thursday, Indonesia reported nearly 39,000 confirmed cases, its largest one-day jump.

Stereotypical reporting, love how the media can be selective which countries to believe and which not to

even when the evidence is overwhelmingly clear.
