Lots of people criticize getting worried about an increase in the number of cases and taking measures even when deaths remain low, this is the kind of situation that is being prevented by doing that.

It would be crazy to wait until the spreading goes completely out of control to do something, that is why people, experts, governments act as soon as the daily cases increase, even if the total number is still manageable, because preventing an explosive growth is much easier than solving it once it happened.
