No.

The Israeli Prime Minister's behavior towards the US President, and his emissaries, has been disgraceful and unacceptable.

I am an American. And a Jew. To any Israeli Bibi supporters, let me remind you: When it comes to our bilateral relations, we call the shots. We are America, the Leader of the Free World, and you are a client state.

Never forget that. And NEVER PRESUME to publicly disrespect an American President.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry hit out Thursday at reported insults by an American official leveled against the Israeli prime minister, saying it was “disgraceful, unacceptable and damaging.”

On the contrary. I'd say they were well placed and way overdue.

United States would continue to work “quietly and effectively” to try to relaunch the peace process with the Palestinians in a thoughtful and even-handed way, saying it was “doable.”

There will never be peace with the Palestinians while that right wing nutter Netanyahu is in power. Right now Israel is starting to build another 1,000 houses in occupied land. Hardly the hand of friendship is it? Especially after slaughtering hundreds in Gaza in their latest "security" mission. Israel is an apartheid, pariah state.

Apartheid? That's stretching it a bit far don't you think? Question, what do you call Hamas and the radical Islamistsof Gaza?

Disgraceful, unacceptable, damaging, and absolutely spot on!

Not at all. A very astute and courageous Israeli (now an American) from a prominent Israeli family -- grandson of a Founder and son of a famous general -- often describes the Zionist state as an apartheid regime, that has gone to great lengths to keep Palestinian Jews and Palestinian Arabs separated.

Even though the populations are split fairly equally, the Jewish community has set it up so they control everything. It won't be able to be sustained over the long term. Not without taking some very drastic actions.

Kerri is a clown.

If any other country was stealing the land of its neighbour this kind of rhetoric used towards it wouldn't raise any eyebrows. It violates international law and any country which refuses to criticise, let alone financially support and arm, this illegal disgrace disgraces itself.

AKBfan: "Kerri is a clown."

So you're saying, then, that you agree that Netanyahu is a "chicken****"? Or do you agree with Kerry saying it is disgraceful and just... well... think Kerry is a clown... because... ummm...

Anyway, I don't know about "chicken****". Egomaniac? Megalomaniac? Racist? Murderer? Insane? Criminal? All of those for sure, yes, but I'm not sure you can call someone hell-bent on destroying the things he claims to protect a chicken.

@smithinjapan The word applies to any bully, cause at heart, that is what they are and it explains their behavior.

Man of Science: For a man of science that's not a very scientific application -- it's just semantics. I agree that many bullies are at heart bullies because ultimately they fear either what they are attacking or something else and so belittle/attack others so they feel better about themselves. But not ALL bullies are that way because they are scared, my friend. Some simply enjoy it because they CAN do it, and others do it not necessarily because they are afraid, but simply because they are ignorant about what they are railing against.

And you're nuts if you think I'm defending Bibi -- the guy is nothing but a menace. I just question whether he is actually afraid or just plain insane and stupid.

Sometimes the truth hurts. I am a strong supporter of Isreal's right to exist, but Bibi is a total yahoo. I wouldn't call home a chicken s¥@. I'd call him a bully. A moron, and a pu$$y.

JTDANMAN:

That would be the other way around. Obamas throwing Israel under the bus, accompanied by his continued support for the Muslim Brotherhood, is not only disgraceful, it can turn out to be disastrous in the future.

Talk about an upside-down world view.

The US administration has been anti-Israel for the whole time. Not that Bibi has done anything to reduce the tensions. The settlement building is a big problem and he knows it. People are right to be unhappy with that and diplomatic pressure is called for. But insults aren't diplomatic pressure, they are just juvenile. So nothing is accomplished and the settlements will continue. Not very constructive.

Who was that "American official"? There are quite obviously lots of American officials in the Obama administration who hate Israel, including President Obama.

Everyone, see how far the worms have spread? Backing a foreign leader dissing an American President.

Conservatives: no honor. no shame.
