Sorry Megan, people didn't dislike you because you are a terrible person of colour. It was just because you are a terrible person.

I think it is hard for anyone not from that background to marry into royalty. I am sure they would look down on me as an uncultured white pig who eats chicken with my hands. Look what happened to the princess in Japan? Mental breakdown over tens of years. The only royalty I aspire to is over my porcelain throne.

“It’s an insult when people are incredulous about the racism people like Meghan Markle experienced

This is a good example of defining racism down. The titled Sussexes are some of the most entitled and privileged people on the planet. She claims she is the target of racism but she doesn’t say who it is thus casting blame on everyone. Her example of racism, wondering what a child’s skin tone would be, is ridiculous. Is wondering what a child’s hair or eye color an example of racism as well. Of course not. We live in an age in which claiming to be a victim of racism brings a social status that has even the uber-privileged scrambling for any tiny evidence of offense in order to gain the social validation they so crave. It’s really a sick and petty spectacle to behold. People are actually feeling sorry for Markel. Meanwhile she is padding her bank account

Alfie NoakesToday  08:10 am JST

And in short order this thread will be full of denials and gaslighting. MM has now become a hate figure for the global far right, alongside the likes of Jacinda Ardern and Naomi Osaka. It's comical how a minor celeb who married a junior member of a fading royal family can trigger so many.

Jacinda Arden= an incompetent leader who believes hugs and being kind will solve everything from a housing crisis to corona.

Naomi Osaka= a wonderful tennis player, who represents Japan for financial reasons while showing no interest in either speaking Japanese.

Megan markel= a woman who appears has married into immense privilage yet seeks victimization at every turn.

It's not hate, its critique. If every negative comment of a famous woman is sexism, every comment of a minority racism, then how is it possible to have opinions or discussions?

“It speaks to the burden that many African American women face,” she said. “For Black women, it was upsetting to see that, even when she had the courage to speak out about her experiences with racism, that she didn’t get the support that she needed and, in many ways, her experiences were invalidated.”

Being a Black man I have talked with women in my family and here in Japan that I know. All of them have said this woman has no idea what true oppression is. She has lived her life without any of the every day experiences Black women face.

Last year in an interview with Vanity Fair she said her most traumatizing experience was when a classmate in the 1st grade told her, "You don't look Black. You don't look like me." If only my grandmothers, mother, aunts, sisters, sisters in law had this as their most traumatizing experience. The honesty of her classmate could have been a learning moment for Meghan, but she as with everything chose to see slight where none was intended.

What she presented as racist being asked "What color do you think your baby will be?" is what all Blacks in a mixed relationship are asked. My own father asked me when my wife was pregnant, and my FIL. It isn't racist, it is a question from normal human curiosity. But I could also be a man who doesn't see boogey men hidden everywhere.

Meghan is a drama duchess.

8 ( +16 / -8 )

Racism is a serious issue that is being demeaned by this stupid media circus. Attention is being paid to Meghan not because of the significance of the supposed racism she has suffered, but because she is rich, privileged, and famous. Those who are subjected to the worst kinds of racism are not afforded an interview on an Oprah special or Netflix and Spotify contracts.

Royalists loved Harry when he was dressing up as an SS officer

A bit unfair. The Tory leader at the time, Michael Howard, called him out for his stupidity. As we know, the Tories are overwhelmingly pro-monarchy. Being someone of Jewish ancestry, it was particularly offensive to Howard.

It’s rare that I’ll defend royalists, let alone the Tories and Michael Howard, but it’s unfair to lump royalists in with real trash.

I never saw Harry as a Nazi sympathizer when I saw this horrible costume. I saw a Hooray Henry being thick. I don’t want to sound nasty, but if he’d married a Scientologist, he’d be flogging L. Ron Hubbard books and vitamins now.

There’s not much substance to the lad.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Meghan looks whiter than me, and my ancestry is 100% European.

You've exposed the conspiracy. She's clearly not half-black. You should call the tabloids ASAP.

5 ( +18 / -13 )

People remember events differently. That is true.

Good to see Harry not wearing sock garters.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

many comments above are spot on.

Most people who are defending her are doing so because they think she’s been racially vilified.

not so many people are defending her because she’s a nice loveable person.

4 ( +9 / -5 )

A princess in the British Royalty?

Former princess. They gave up all their duties to the Crown and titles. They are just "folks" now.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Please, don’t imply Morgan is a victim here. Piers Morgan was villified and censured by ITV because he said, repeatedly, that he did not believe she had suicidal thoughts and mocked her. It is against broadcasting rules, and is utterly vile, to mock or dismiss a persons suicidal ideation whoever they may be. Also, the article fails to mention that Morgan has had a personal vendetta against Markle after she chose not to befriend him before she met Harry and he has used his broadcasting platform to pursue this vendetta ever since. Not to mention his history of sackings and censure from jobs in the past due to his awful behaviour. The man is overjoyed he’s been sacked as he’s can play victim in the public limelight and has received offers form higher paying rent a gob broadcasters. He is revelling in this.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Sorry for the typos, darn autocorrect.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

@carpslidy: It's not hate, its critique. If every negative comment of a famous woman is sexism, every comment of a minority racism, then how is it possible to have opinions or discussions?

Preventing critique is the point. This is how critical theory as constructed and practiced by the Left works. Meghan and Harry are devotees of the woke religion and know how to play the game to their advantage. An innocent comment about skin tone for a child that will be at minimum 3/4 white is not the stuff of oppression or even disrespectful. Their ideas about race and identity don’t stand up to logic so they gaslight you into rejecting objective debate through scorn and shame.

They have convinced the dominant culture that only whites can be racist. That only Western culture is bad. That the entirety of social relations is between the binary of oppressors and the oppressed defined by immutable traits such as race and sex. It is logically and objectively incoherent requiring the woke mob to enforce the delusion.

The West is undergoing its own version of China’s Cultural Revolution. At some point the fever of Neo-Marxist thought will be broken but the damage done in the meantime will be great and long lasting.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

While I won't dismiss anything said by MM, there are millions of black women who suffer much worse and have no voice to be heard.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Really? Being a black woman doesn’t seem to be a problem for Oprah. She is richer and more popular than all of those rich white royals combined.

Nope. The royal family is worth $88 billion.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Megan markel= a woman who appears has married into immense privilage yet seeks victimization at every turn.

It's not hate, its critique. If every negative comment of a famous woman is sexism, every comment of a minority racism, then how is it possible to have opinions or discussions?

I'm sorry folks but I just can't feel sorry for her. she married into royalty and wanted all the privledges and percs but now she can't take all the attention and heat. She may say her ethnicity plays a part of it but I doubt it. There is a notable number of Brits with non-white ancestry somewhere in their family lines, and there is a sizable minority group of Black Britons that go back several generations. Also, the mayor of London is a Briton of ethnic Indo-Pakistani descent that Trump so immaturly sassed off about last year or so.

Meghan wanted it all, fairy tale wedding and the works and she gave up her US citizenship for it. Now she realizes that there is no Disneyesque 'happy ever after' after all.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

The woman does not have a racial problem, she has a whiny entitled typical California, Hollywood far left problem. Now that wasn’t too difficult to ascertain.

2 ( +15 / -13 )

Queen will reach out to Prince Harry for peace talks: She will take personal charge of interview fallout and has issued a 'three-line whip' on Palace staff to stay silent

2 ( +3 / -1 )

And when they try to make their voices heard, they are called "angry black women", accused of having "chips on their shoulders". They are dismissed, sneered, laughed at and in some cases, threatened.

Really? Being a black woman doesn’t seem to be a problem for Oprah. She is richer and more popular than all of those rich white royals combined. Enough with the all X are bad and all Y are all treated like crap. It’s demonstrably false if one could take the ideological blunders off.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Some of the stuff written about here by the tabloids was really mean and disrespectful but that never changed my view of her being a selfish nutter.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

@jpn_guy

I hear you 100%. You are entitled to your opinion and I respect that.

Now allow me to retort.

If the Royals are as racist as Meghan and Harry say: THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO WEDDING TO BEGIN WITH. Queen Elizabeth and Philip would have found some reason to end it.

Up to now Harry has been mum on his family being racist.

I went through that swedding thing. My first fiancee was Brazilian in Delaware at the same university. She backed out from pressure from her mom in New York. She was concerned about "the racism our children would face." Many Central and South Americans have a REAL issue with dark skinned folk. It broke my heart to where it still hurts at times now. But her loss. I am happy here in Japan with my wife and kids.

As for Philip's past comments. I am sure he made some doozies. It was par for the course for his time and age.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

BTW, read up on LBJ and his black chauffer. He absolutely humiliated him on a daily basis.

But I respect what LBJ did with the voting rights act and legislation ending segregation.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Let me get the narrative straight her.

A princess in the British Royalty, who has servants hand and foot, is actually oppressed.

If she can play the victim card, who can't?

1 ( +19 / -18 )

If the issues surrounding Megan aren’t related to race, why was she treated so differently by the media than the other wife?

Kate: "Bumping along nicely! The Duchess was seen placing a protective hand on her tummy as she exited the event." Daily Mail: March 22, 2018

Meghan: "Personally, I find the cradling a bit like those signs in the back of cars: Baby on Board. Virtue signaling, as though the rest of us barren harridans deserve to burn alive in our cars." Daily Mail: Jan. 26, 2019

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.buzzfeednews.com/amphtml/ellievhall/meghan-markle-kate-middleton-double-standards-royal

That’s just one example, the article has 19 more. But, I’m sure Megan was treated so badly because she’s a “far-left California Hollywood type.”

1 ( +10 / -9 )

Of course, the triggered are being manipulated to distract them from the real issues

That was the point of the interview in the first place

1 ( +6 / -5 )

Invalidations of Meghan's claims of racism hurt Black women

The weird thing is, I had no idea she is supposed to be "black". She looks lilly white to me, so what does "racism" even mean, if you can not see it? Is everybody back to some stupid "one drop" rule from another centrury? And by that token, are we not all black, seeing our species came from Africa?

Seems to me, the woke Hollywood/media crowd is so obsessed with race, they can find racism whereever they look.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

On this breaking story, the opinion polls have put the royal family at 50%, the lowest since the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, when they ignored the public sentiments.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Meghan looks whiter than me, and my ancestry is 100% European.

0 ( +16 / -16 )

I’m a person who doesn’t notice color or race. When I edited medical papers, I discovered everybody is the same color insider.

racist behavior is nothing new for the British royal family so no shock there.

shes a drama queen so no shock there.

0 ( +9 / -9 )

So because OW is doing fine, racism doesn't exist.

All the why people can feel smug and pat themselves on the head, now

To be fair racism exists in all forms in color and black people are not the only ones that are being targeted with racist attacks or by racism itself, Oprah is privileged just as Megan is and despite claims of racism, neither one has really anything to complain about and instead of pointing the fingers and blaming white people for all their insecurities or problems, they could use their wealth to help educate people and not talk down, belittle or push a racist guilt trip, that doesn’t help, they could be a positive force for racial harmony in upliftment as well as being strong women of color

0 ( +4 / -4 )

She's just out to get attnetion.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

The right-wing British press treated MM badly even though she wasn't the first black woman to marry into the royal family. There was a black queen of king George. Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz was the queen consort of the British king George III, 1761–1818.

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

@kyushubill

What she presented as racist being asked "What color do you think your baby will be?" is what all Blacks in a mixed relationship are asked.

Yes, this is true. These questions can be innocent. But Harry directly said "questions were asked that made me feeling extremely uncomfortable". His recollection is clearly that, whatever was said, it was said with the tone of "I hope this kid will not be too dark". If it was not said in that tone, why would he feel uncomfortable? Or are disputing his recollection (where you there?) and saying that he made the whole thing up? What would be your reasons for believing that?

Asking "will he be light or dark, will he look like Mum or Dad?" is one thing.

If someone, for example says "we have traditions you know, we have a long history, you have to think about the family. I do wonder if he will be dark" - well then the meaning is completely different, isn't it?

Of course, I (like you!) was not there and don't know what was said, but why are people so eager to even deny this possibility and instantly conclude that a) it was an innocent question b) the above sort of nuance could never, ever have been present c) Harry (and Meghan) is lying.

The fact that so many people are instantly without evidence to the contrary eager to deny even the possibility of inappropriate remarks and determined to link this dialog to completely different innocent remarks made in completely different situations is exactly what this article is about.

Question yourself. Why does your automatic reaction take you down this road?

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

The far right tend to see conspiracies everywhere.

It isn’t the Right that sees a conspiracy of systemic racism under every rock and crevice of Western society.

Their is real racism in the world today. Not the racism of the past - the slave trade or the Muslim Barbary pirates or the Atlantic slave trade. The heyday colonialism, Jim Crow and the Klan are long past. Despite all of the progress the dominant culture is regressing towards separatism and a belief that people are good or bad based solely on skin color.

Racism today is not systemic, it is individuals against individuals of different races against individuals of other races. It’s a problem that will only be exacerbated by the Left’s focus of what makes people different over what they have in common. Looking for slights like Markel is doing is a result of a victim as hero mentality. She, of all people, is no victim. Ask yourself, would you take on the burden of her life over your own if you could trade for her wealth and privilege? There are plenty of people in the world that would be overjoyed to take her place in exchange for their own trials and tribulations.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Yes, because looks are how race/ethnicity is determined.

I thought it had something to do with DNA?

He is saying this was said to him directly.

If it was not said in that tone, why would he feel uncomfortable? Or are disputing his recollection

It would help if Harry actually quoted what was said, so that we can understand whether it actually was racist or just the two of them being over-sensitive.

Former princess.

She was never given the title of princess. She's a duchess, like Kate, and despite not wanting to be part of the royal family, she apparently doesn't want to give up her title. Dog in the manger attitude?

questions were asked that made me feeling extremely uncomfortable

I can imagine a lot of questions were asked that might make him feel uncomfortable.

How are you going to live without your royal income?

Why do you imagine your father should continue doling out money when you're doing no work for it?

Why do you think your kid warrants security and protection when other members of the royal family of similar standing do not?

How do you balance "With nearly 7.7 billion people inhabiting this Earth, every choice, every footprint, every action makes a difference" with choosing to use private jets to go on holiday?

Mmm, a half-black, half-white mother with olive skin and a 100% ginger father, wonder what the offspring will look like.

The only thing to feel uncomfortable about in the last one is the ginger slur.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

@kyushubill

You claim you are a black man. I don't believe you. I think you are a white man stirring trouble.

Actually, I do believe you, but see what happens when we start refusing to trust people and questioning everything they say. I am a mixed race English man (one black parent, one white) and believe me it is not at all hard to believe that royal family members where hoping they would not get a very black baby.

The problem is though, we all bring out prejudices to the conversation. For example, I know you are a relatively dark (not white-passing) black man. How do I know? Because you brush of Meghan's problem with being told she "does not look black". If she as a child identified as black, then having that denied by a classmate would be hard to deal with. It is not at all surprising she remembers that years later.

By dismissing Meghan, your preconceptions about the moaning of the privileged, light-skinned blacks to the conversation. And I admit, I bring my preconceptions about the attitudes of the British upper classes to the conversation.

But in the end of the day, neither of us were there, and neither of us has reason to doubt why Harry felt "uncomfortable" unless we have an ulterior motive for doing so.

By the way my friend, I suggest you read up about the past words of Prince Philip, the "chimpanzee" incident (Danny Baker), and endless other examples of prejudice from the UK royal family before you make a judgement that this is simply a matter of privileged people wallowing in a victim complex.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

burning bush:

Let me get the narrative straight her.

A princess in the British Royalty, who has servants hand and foot, is actually oppressed.

If she can play the victim card, who can't?

You can also substitute the word British with Japanese. The only difference is that MM didn't marry the heir to the throne and was able to get out with her husband.

Now, with all those "servants hand and foot", why would the empress STILL be suffering mentally after, what is it, 3 decades? If you've never married into royalty, then you should not be too quick to dismiss the pressures and stress that come with the job. Next time you end up in a personal or health crisis, remind me to just dismiss your problems as made-up bs.

Yeah, I suppose Grace Kelly was in it for the money and privilege too.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Because you brush of Meghan's problem with being told she "does not look black".

She doesn't really, when she was first linked to Harry I thought she was hispanic or something. That one of her parents is black never popped into my head. I actually find it quite weird that she's just being labelled a black woman, because she's not and I just don't believe she's gone through life facing real black discrimination.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

By now, anyone who is critical of woke slogan is "far right"

Nah, I criticize the far-left woke culture as much as a criticize the far-right. No no one ever calls me far-right.

You guys are binary thinkers though, and the inability to see nuance means that you think that there is only woke, or you. It's projection - binary thinkers are only able to see the world in binary terms.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

While I won't dismiss anything said by MM, there are millions of black women who suffer much worse and have no voice to be heard.

Absolutely.

And when they try to make their voices heard, they are called "angry black women", accused of having "chips on their shoulders". They are dismissed, sneered, laughed at and in some cases, threatened.

In the meantime, MM is privileged, yes. But she is still a victim of the monstrous royal family. An institution that allowed the pillaging and ethnic cleansing of Ireland, that condemned millions to die or emigrate during the great hunger. That won't allow Catholics to marry into, unless they recant their religion. An institution that allows abuse to be covered up. That's where the current focus should be at.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Her example of racism, wondering what a child’s skin tone would be, is ridiculous. Is wondering what a child’s hair or eye color an example of racism as well. Of course no.

This is a prime example of the denialism the article is referring to. The example was not simply "wondering what a child's skin tone would be".

You can disbelieve them if you want, but you can't change what they actually said in the interview. Harry (not just Meghan) said that "a member of the family queried what color the baby would be in a way that made me deeply uncomfortable". When Oprah asked him who said what he said "I will never share that".

So you can believe him or not believe him, but clearly, from the first person accounting he is giving, he is not talking about a simple "oh, I wonder if he will look like the Mum or the Dad?" type innocent question.

This is not Chinese whispers or second hand information. He is saying this was said to him directly. So if you want to deny this, you have to call him a flat out liar lying about what was said to his face.

Now, that is relatively rare, isn't it? To take what someone says was said to them personally - not a rumor or second hand information - and accuse them of making it up. That's exactly what the article is talking about.

When racism is the topic this kind of denial happens all the time. This is exactly the gaslightling. You are doing it now. If you want to disagree with Harry, that is your right, but you must (if you want an honest argument) say "I think you are lying about a personal conversation you claim to have had.

But you are not doing that are you? You are saying something quite different. To quote you again:

Her example of racism, wondering what a child’s skin tone would be, is ridiculous. Is wondering what a child’s hair or eye color an example of racism as well. Of course no.

Why are you completely ignoring Harry's statement about a conversation that left him "very uncomfortable"? Why are you shifting the goalposts in this way? Do you go through life frequently denying people heard what they said they heard? Or only in situations like this?

Under an article about denying and gaslighting, how can you un-ironically do exactly that without realizing it? It shows a lack of self-awareness, doesn't it?

Why would you conclude there was simply an innocent question? Where are you getting that from? You are simply bringing your own prejudice to the conversation without evidence.

-3 ( +5 / -8 )

Looking for slights like Markel is doing is a result of a victim as hero mentality. She, of all people, is no victim. Ask yourself, would you take on the burden of her life over your own if you could trade for her wealth and privilege? There are plenty of people in the world that would be overjoyed to take her place in exchange for their own trials and tribulations.

Ah, so she's an ungrateful person of color, now?

Personally, as I've stated many times, I'm not a royalist - I'm a republican.

However, the racism is clear and ever present, from the very start. As it was with Diana when she was seeing Dodi al-Fayed.

I'd rather an end to the monarchy and capitalism, so you're incorrect if you think wealth and privilege interest me.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Being a black woman doesn’t seem to be a problem for Oprah.

So because OW is doing fine, racism doesn't exist.

All the why people can feel smug and pat themselves on the head, now.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

There’s not much substance to the lad.

Yeah, his heart is in the right place. He's grown up and left that nonsense behind. And I don't buy the narrative that he's been "manipulated".

He has done what he thinks is best for his family.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Harry and Meghan are better off away from the constrictions of royalty!

The real skeletons that the royals have are brushed away eg pedo Andrew and Elizabeth having to hobnob with murderers, whilst proffering the Royal hand (Idi Amin) the known infidelities of Charles known and accepted by the ‘firm’ etc

Look at the bloody and sordid history of almost any ‘Royal’ family-it is the same!

It is no wonder that the royals don’t comment...

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Whether it’s racism or classism , a large part of the British Press has treated Meghan with almost no respect.

@ jpn_guy

Because I am a Balck man who does not see racists and racist intentions in every word, action, and character of people. I don't see Klansmen in the hearts of every person.

I do see racism thrown around so much and for no reason and dishonestly it has lost all meaning even in Black communities because priviledged people of color feel to be "one of us" they need to be perpetual victims while being cheered on by self hating Whites and Asians.

C'mon man Black folk really aren't scared of White folk. Especially Royal folk who need servants top tie their shoes for them because they need them to.

Black women say it is yet another example of a Black woman’s experiences with racism being disregarded through denials and gaslighting.

And in short order this thread will be full of denials and gaslighting. MM has now become a hate figure for the global far right, alongside the likes of Jacinda Ardern and Naomi Osaka. It's comical how a minor celeb who married a junior member of a fading royal family can trigger so many.

-5 ( +12 / -17 )

There's no doubt whatsoever that she is being attacked, as all women of color are when they upset the supremacists, just by existing.

Royalists loved Harry when he was dressing up as an SS officer, but once he came to terms with his mental health issues and had the audacity to marry a person of mixed race, he was vilified.

Vilify royals for the right reasons, folks. Not because the color of their skin, or that they show compassion. Vilify them because they are not better than us. Because they are archaic.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

The right-wing British press treated MM badly even though she wasn't the first black woman to marry into the royal family. There was a black queen of king George. Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz was the queen consort of the British king George III, 1761–1818.

Ah, wonderful if true. The alternate history melodrama Bridgerton portrays her as such.

Interesting article on the theories here.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

@Burning Bush

Let me get the narrative straight her.

A princess in the British Royalty, who has servants hand and foot, is actually oppressed.

If she can play the victim card, who can't?

Well, Meghan is not a princess and never has been, nor was she waited in hand and foot, so there is not surprise why "you do not get it."

Your facts and information is all wrong which probably makes your claim wrong too!

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

@kyushubill

If the Royals are as racist as Meghan and Harry say: THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO WEDDING TO BEGIN WITH. Queen Elizabeth and Philip would have found some reason to end it.

Why would there not have been a wedding? Do you think the queen and prince would have put either Meghan or Harry in dungeon to keep them apart?

In the interview, the couple mentioned that they were already married before the official wedding. The couple has already given up all of their royal benefits to make it on their own. There is nothing else that the royals could use as leverage.

Your logic does not hold up?

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

It betrays a deep fascist tendency among the MAGA crowd.

It does, but you've almost got to feel sorry for them. This is all they have, now.

A focal point for their hate and disappointment.

Instead of focusing on an evil archaic system that perpetuates entitlement, abuse, sectarianism and the bigotry we witness today.

The West is undergoing its own version of China’s Cultural Revolution. At some point the fever of Neo-Marxist thought will be broken but the damage done in the meantime will be great and long lasting.

The far right tend to see conspiracies everywhere.

They bemoan the fact that their apologism for white supremacism will be challenged.

They believe they are being silenced, when in fact, you can read their crazed spiel every single day on hundreds of thousands of sites.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Whether it’s racism or classism , a large part of the British Press has treated Meghan with almost no respect.

The British press is overwhelmingly rightwing along with a trash tabloid culture which feeds on royal/celeb gossip. This is Murdoch and Murdoch wannabe territory. Hacking the phones of dead minors, labeling innocents killed in a crush at a football match as drunks and thieves etc. This is cotton wool treatment compared to what they’ve done in the past. It’s a snake pit.

Step into the spotlight, or in her case, choose to marry into a weird family constantly in the spotlight, and you can expect the trash to come your way.

She and Harry were expecting fair treatment? He’s an obvious half-wit but she’s not and a grown woman.

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

I find it hilarious that the same group that was not 3 months ago shouting "1776!" at the top of their lungs is now defending the British Monarchy against things that are so obviously, plainly, factually true.

It betrays a deep fascist tendency among the MAGA crowd.
