Most likely the US is involved in some way and should leave Iran alone. But pro-Russians should fear not; Iran's partners with Russia. Putin and his oligarchs will look out for Iran's gas and oil - in Russia's quest for even greater control over the resources allowing for Russia to further expand the reaches of its Eurasian Economic Union.
