It's reminiscent of the protests against Pahlavi. I hope the brave demonstrators do need meet the same fate as they did.

The World is watching. More importantly, the USA is watching,” he tweeted.

The USA needs to learn that it is not more important than the rest of the world. And it should practice what it preaches. It has lied to it's people, over the attack on Iran

Typo. Should read: It's reminiscent of the protests against Pahlavi. I hope the brave demonstrators do not meet the same fate as they did.

Can't blame the Iranians for having twitchy trigger fingers

The Iranian authorities are fully to blame for shooting down the aircraft. So are the Iranian protestors in blaming them.

Can't blame the Iranians for

protesting against their authoritarian regime. Iranians have long lived under authoritarian systems that have restricted the greater public's say, i.e. systems that have restricted democracy. It's odd many 'westerners' who say they're opposed to Iran's authoritarianism are the same people who support leaders weakening their own democratic systems so their executives - and the global corporations financing them - can have even greater control.

I hope Iranians rise up and overthrow the mullahs.

I agree! Time to kick the Ayatollah and all the Mullahs out. Hope the President pushes and encourages the people rally style to rise up.

Totally agree.

At the same time I hope the American public kick Donny out.

I wonder how long it will take for the truth to be known for the real reason the Iranians shot down that 737-800?

Some of the facts to the ever changing BS storm coming from Iran's government:

Just an hour or so earlier Iran launched a missile strike at Iraqi bases that housed US troops.

The expected US retaliation never came.

That 737-800, flight PS752 departed an hour late. --- How different would the story have read if it left on time during the missile strike on Iraqi bases?

First Iran said that it was an engine fire denying all claims that it was shot down.

Through US intelligence information, Canada, the UK and Australia all stated that with that intelligence and local video proof, it was quite evident that PS752 had been shot down by an Iranian missile whether intentional or not.

Iran continued to counter that there was no missile attack on PS752 and welcomed Canada and others to come investigate and prove it.

A ex United airlines captain stated that every pilot knows not to turn to the north after departing that airport because there is a mountain range there. That claim is complete BS. PS752 had done that just two days earlier and flew the EXACT same flight line that the doomed 737-800 flew until it was shot down by Iranian SAM.

Iran then changes its story claiming it was an accident that PS752 was shot down but gives a lame excuse that it did so because the aircraft turned after taking off towards a 'sensitive' Iranian site. PS752 followed that exact same flight line two days prior. --- If you have a membership with https://www.flightradar24.com, you can confirm this for yourself as you will need to be able to see history beyond the limited last seven days free access.

Iran then blames the US for causing this accident which now may be getting closer to what actually happened.

Let's wait and see what more pressure on Iran will reveal as the evidence continues to be released.

Don't be surprised when the truth comes out but if what you've already heard makes you angry and sick at the same time, 'you ain't see nothing yet' (excuse the double negative).

Be patient, 2024 is not THAT long.

I think you mean this year, 2020.

Naw, the Dems blew it this time around, but 2024 they might have a chance if they can get their act together.

The next presidential election for the USA is "scheduled" for November 3, 2020.

Yes, so after Trump wins and resettles in into his second term the following year, the Democrats can focus on finding a real candidate that will resin with the people.

Yes, so after Trump wins and resettles in into his second term the following year,

Here, let me fix that for you; Yes, after Trump is impeached and then convicted in the Stormy payoff case, he will settle in for his first prison term the following year...

the Democrats can focus on finding a real candidate that will resin with the people.

"Resin" with the people - ??????

Yes, after Trump is impeached and then convicted in the Stormy payoff case, he will settle in for his first prison term the following year...

Will never happen as long as the sun shines and the tide roles in.

The numbers of Iranians protesting are less than the numbers of Americans opposed to Trump. In a poll 57% of Americans felt less safe with Trump's Middle East actions

I wonder how many conservatives and independents were polled.....
