I say they should mind their own business. Iran will show it's true colors to the world. A true Theocracy but kinda like China. They know how to deal with dissent.

I'm a persian, any country that has a single drop of humanity in it's vains will cut all ties with the brutal regime of Iran, that's the best gift anybody could give Iranian people at this moment.

I lived more than 20 years of my life there, I know what savage creatures those Basiji militias are, when they shoot people in day light in front of crowds of people what do you think they are doing to political prisoners in dungeons now, they make Israel look like an angel.

Should read, "Iran's O I L to dominate G8 meeting in Italy!" Let's call a spade a spade.

iranian regime's violent crackdown on protesters is going to dominate the G8 meeting and their rightful positionshould be to cut off all ties with the Iranian regime, such barbaric regime don't deserve to have relations with any country in 20th century, they are a regime out of the dark ages.

Eliminate Iran's nukes and they're not even on the agenda.

is there something wrong with me or everybody's just out of it? Iran must be on the agenda, cutting all ties with Iran must be on the agenda, boycotting Iran's oil must be on the agenda, stopping all trade with Iran must be on the agenda, bringing the regime to it's knees must be on the agenda.

G8 should stay out of this and not stick their long nose in other countries affairs

if they stay out of it they shouldn't claim they value human rights anymore.

Think of it this way Cuttieswithiran. First someone tells you you shouldn't get involved with their business because its their business. Then someone else says you should get involved with their business, so you do try to help them out, but when you're finished you still get blamed for getting involved in their business. EU countries don't like being put up as scapegoats for getting involved in another country's business so the buck passes to the US which will get blamed for attempting to do something about it (and getting involved in another country's business). All that will happen is Iran will blame someone else for trying to help their people.

it's not a matter of interfering in some country's affairs, it's a matter of human rights, it's a matter of humanity, if you saw somebody on the street about to kill an innocent person wouldn't you help if you could? Iranian regime is known to the world for it's brutality, some of my own friends where excecuted after the revolution just because they had a different political view than the rulling Mullahs, don't let this become another Rowanda or Bosnia, I admire Australian Prime Minister for his guts he's been the toughest on the Mullas so far, more world leaders should follow his example.
