There will be no "showdown" as this is not a sporting event.
Rouhani will probably berate the US for welching on the deal and Trump will dribble out some inanities, designed to keep the war of words flowing.
The rest of us proles will look on in grim fascination as Trump's America reclaims its status as the Great Satan.
And in the wings, Saudi Arabia will be rubbings its hands with glee.

This should be an interesting "showdown." A literate, intelligent individual versus Trump.
"I'm told . . . " is not valid evidence in critical discourse.

That photo of Trump sure shows his hair thinning. It also shows that he needs another dye job.

Trump boasted about his accomplishments in his speech and the room laughed.

There is no requirement for a sporting event to be involved in a "showdown."
It will be fun to watch Train Wreck Trump at the UN. At this point, it is Trump and his jackassery are just a distraction.

Another freak show by Narcissus Trumpnocchio at the United Nations.
His handlers failed to convince him that this speech was not a political rally directed towards the November elections in the USA.
As usual, it was a delivery of fake news, disinformation and misinformation.

Clearly Farage is ‘Tone-deaf’.
Oh my...indeed.
Toasted Heretic
Farage is a discredited lying spiv and city boy who happily takes money off the EU and is married to an immigrant. His hypocrisy knows no bounds.
I agree though, as Trump and other bigots are dealt with by the voters, it will be a fun six years.

Rouhani's pretty much just a poster boy with no real power except to be a "democratically elected" façade for the Khamenei. Interesting note, the supreme leader of Iran gets a "commission fee" for everything that is bought from Iran, that includes oil. How much money do you think he's got? I'm told that he's a multi billionaire that probably puts Putin to shame.

They might have tissue on the table.
For Iran it was always that and always will be, nothing new. We’re used to it.
well, both never liked each other, so nothing new there as well.
