A few facts that I'm betting more than one commenter will ignore, just like the editor ignored that, even today, the majority of the Iranian population have favorable opinions of Ahmadinejad, the person who those who disputed the election claim was unpopular.

1) The Iranian population feels that the 'bloody crackdown' against people who were looting, burning, and attacking bystanders was a restrained response, even a too restrained response.

2) The Iranian population feels confident that the Iranian judiciary will see that the protesters who may have been caught in the riots will go free.

But, as usual, the self described 'experts' on Iran, and on the opinions of the Iranian population, will ignore what the Iranian population has to say for themselves, unlike the Center For International and Security Studies at Maryland, who, as good academics try to, find out what those with firsthand knowledge and experience think, and then report that.
