The only 'difficulty' here HAS TO BE the United States. Iran was FULLY compliant with the terms of the JCPOA when a politically manipulated, psychopathic U.S. 'leader' turned the U.S. yet again into a nation of broken promises which is what a TREATY is, a promise AND a CONTRACT. We have seen what becomes of a nation of promise breakers (Perfidious Albion) and the dying embers of empire and chaos and torment for average people that result (see: Boris). Not only should the JCPOA be reinstated as originally finalized but REPARATIONS should be paid to Iran for the heinous and unforgivable damages such dishonest political dealings have resulted in for the Irani people, and for the global demonstration of the moral weakness that is the American and EU versions of 'democracy'. Any hesitation in restoring what was here can only be seen as the diseased symptoms of infectious systemic corruption in Western political systems. From where does this disease emanate? Just follow the money and the geopolitical advantage...

Nothing to add to the above comment. Nail firmly hit on the head, well written William!

Israel possesses some 80-150 nuclear warheads. It was directly cooperating with South African Apartheid regime in the production of WMD. No one in the world is questioning the Israeli nuclear arsenal, but the world is turned upside down because Iran just started to enrich uranium.

No doubt the United States of America: Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Panama, just mention a few.

I had heard that the more arrogant and delusional members of the American team had left, and this article seems to confirm that the faction that saw these talks as being about the US dictating a new deal for Iran's surrender to Washington, not Washington coming into compliance with the JCPOA for the first time have effectively left, and the US is now willing (maybe) to admit that the US has to make significant moves towards complying with the actual terms of the JCPOA before the question of how Iran is going to unwind its nuclear propulsion program becomes something to talk about

And Iran? The terrorism from that country is huge.

The US has sanctions against Turkey.

But this article is still about Iran, not Turkey.

So is Turkey, but they are a NATO, cough cough, ally. Sanctions?

Nope. There is an ongoing power struggle within Iran.

A country KNOWN to sponsor terrorism world-wide is low on my list of countries to remove sanctions against.

Sanctions are the minimal. If they screw up with nukes, there are strategic craters available for placement.
The USA isn't without a list of claimed state sponsored terrorism.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_and_state-sponsored_terrorism It is much shorter than that for Iran.
