Huh? Where are the sites and domains hosted?

And the US news networks who employ ex-CIA and NSA directors as on-air personalities are not pushing American propaganda? The hypocrisy and chutzpah of these people is staggering.

Buzzword for "fake news". Next, they have to take down CNN.

How does a government just take over websites that are not located in their country and belong to foreign entities? Say I am hosting a website. How does a government in another nation take my website? By what authority and with what technical means?

They should--CNN offers a nice balance to Fox.

Let's see, do you consider it 'disinformation' to refer to the military force that includes the majority of the personnel and equipment of the Yemeni military as the Yemeni Army, or does that title go to whoever the foreign backed regime deems to be its military, no matter how many foreigners it contains?
Or to carry the candidate profiles and cover the debates of the Iranian Presidential campaign?
Call the acts of the refugees from Central Palestine to try and liberate it self defence?
Call the violent acts of an Occupying power against an occupied people aggression?

How about taking down Google, for censoring searches about the Wuhan Lab leak?
In the USA.

But the U.S. govt. leaves the biggest culprit, Faux News, to broadcast its nonsense. That's not fair!

That's what I was thinking, hence my question. My guess is that these would have to be sites and domains based in the US.

Interesting how people criticize Fox News, without having ever watched it.
I am watching iFox right now. There was mention of a story about Hunter Suden using the N-word, and how the other media outlets buried this story.
Is Fox News spreading disinformation about Hunter Biden using the N-word?

All .com domains, regardless of where they operate, can be seized with a US court order because the ultimate registrar is a US based company, Verisign Inc.

What do the Iranian media seizures mean? Easy answer: Iran is about to be blown away.
Israel will not want Iranians to be able to tell the outside world what is going on.

Right--- wouldn't want Iran's allies Syria, Lebanon, China, Tajikistan and North Korea to know what is going on.

If "misinformation" is the problem, they should take down CNN first. This new love of of book burning is more worrisome than any false information.

The sites it turns out were all commercial with a .com, .org or .tv url, and the sites with the .tv url, tv for Tuvalu were on a server owned by an American company. If the companies were registered in Iran and had an Iran specific url the US would not have been able to do that without causing an uproar about violating Iran's sovereignty.

Reuters, Al Jazeera AL World and hundreds of other legitimate new outlets would be reporting live from Iran. Airbus satellites would provide high fidelity imagery of the destruction from above. The whole world would know.
