Videos shared on social media on Wednesday showed high school girls in Tehran taking off their headscarves and chanting "death to (Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali) Khamenei".

There's a photo, published in the Guardian, of some of these bare-headed girls waving a hijab and giving the finger to a photo of Ayatollahs Khamenei and Khomeini. Sweeeet!

Ever wonder what Iranian women (and men) identify as the biggest obstacle to their freedom and equality?

Well, the academics at the University of Maryland's Centre for International and Security Studies did, and have asked them that for years.

Would it surprise you to learn that they gave the same answer as the women (and men) of Syria?

Ah, but it's also the same answer as the women (and men) of Cuba did during the years America's public opinion polling companies bothered to ask them before it became common practice for the American government to TELL them what they were supposed to think it was (and American media to faithfully report it as a given that that is what they'd say if asked) and the women and men of Venezuela did the last time someone asked them.

Indeed, when Gallup conducted the last "world poll" that it released the data from, it was the number one answer globally.

Hint, it wasn't 'the Iranian government'.

It wasn't the Syrian government.

It wasn't the Cuban or Venezuelan governments.

It wasn't even the Russian government.

It was the government that BIDEN was a member of, and now leads.

Don't take my word for these being the facts, go digging yourself.

Why not just show us where ya got those figures instead?

After all, you posit the argument, you support it by citing your sources

(That's just standard in any essay or dissertation defense btw)
