Boring.

This is about Trump and Iran.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Well, a couple of those, to redress the balance.

China and Russia have militarized space, and... oh, yes, the US is trying to play catch-up.

Wasn't Agent Orange for destroying the the forest cover for the trails south, and had really really bad side effects that effectively woke up the world and guaranteed that dioxin became a big no-no from then on?

On the other hand, hidden in the wording of 'total obliteration' that Trump used against Iran this week is surely a nuclear threat, or nuclear blackmail, just what he himself accused the Iranians of recently.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I. again, ask: which is the only country to use nuclear bombs against a civilian population, which country used Agent Orange against civilian men, women and CHILDEN, which country  considered using nuclear bombs in the Korean war, which country supported the development if nuclear weapons by Israel, which country has over 800 military bases around the globe, which country is establishing a Space Force to militarise space?

No excuses, just answer the question.

@ Zichi

So America gets to keep its nuclear arsenal so it can continue to threaten the rest of the world?

Donny is a bumbling moron

The "bumbling moron" called off an attack that would have killed around 150 Iranians a few days ago. What, you don't like that?

Well, would any of us negotiate with Trump, Bolton or Pompeo for anything?

They want to live. And live well.

world war III is near

Yeah, a lot of people are afraid of that. Trump squelched that a few days ago. We'll see what happens.

*I really don't understand who in their right mind would allow f** Bolton of all people to dictate foreign policy.

He doesn't. He's the National Security Advisor. Trump openly admits he's a hawk who would like to take on the entire world at once. He uses him to strike fear into adversaries so they don't do anything stupid like doing something that would get them killed.

@Zichi, Oh, "the brutal Shah". The one who made education equally accessable for girls, and allowed women to have freedoms they only dream about in Iran now, among a few dozen other "evils".

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

I really don't understand who in their right mind would allow f*** Bolton of all people to dictate foreign policy. Like at this point i think a chimpanzee on cocaine can do a better job than him

Realization:

The crisis gripping the Middle East stems from Trump's withdrawal of the United States a year ago from the nuclear deal between Iran

No. The so-called nuclear deal was a scam (remember Obama's plane loads of umarked cash to Teheran?) and did not solve anything. Withdrawing from this bad deal was one of Trumps campaign promises. Are you upset that for once a politician actually remembers his promises?

The current screaming of the Ayathollas simply proves that the sanctions are working.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

The die was cast even before Trump. The point is they don't have to budge and be hardheaded as they wish. All they have to do is "change" their perspective and start thinking logically and rationally for "alternatives" to prove or achieve what ever their goals and objectives are.

Only one thing for them to remember in their deliberations is that if they wish to harm the US or its allies physically, in what ever form, they will be facing terrible physical consequences whether they want or even think they can bear and survive. Economic sanction is but one of such physical consequences which hurt everyone, including the rest of the world.

The Ayatollah and mullahs spat on Obama’s hand when he extended it in friendship early in his administration. Has everyone forgotton?

Well, I think it much more likely you've simply twisted something that actually happened, into "Bubble-reality" (aka hatred fantasies).

Then Obama gave them a billion dollars which the Iranian regime immediately began using to finance terrorism.

Speaking of twisting something that actually happened into hatred fantasies...

Isn't it interesting that both Donnie and the Ayatollah consider themselves "conservative"...

Putin also claims to be a conservative

And in the U.K. there is a whole political party, also called the Conservative party. Tripartite alliance? lol

Supreme leader says Iranians won't budge over U.S. sanctions

yeh yeh, they all say that.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

@Realization, the crisis was there all along but the tottering pile was somehow managing to hang together. Trump came along and pulled the lynchpin out of it...

Crying “Ya boo sucks!”

This is the fact:

The crisis gripping the Middle East stems from Trump's withdrawal of the United States a year ago from the nuclear deal between Iran and other world powers and then imposing crippling new sanctions on Tehran.

I wonder why....

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Ha ha. All the right wingers have fled this debate.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

I have a great idea Donnie! Send Javanka to negotiate. That's what they're in the west wing for right?

Failure with the border, failure with China, failure with Iran. Just going down the list on JT today

US far right crazies with Iran far right crazies

All nations have a 'fundamentalist' base (35%?), usually made up of those who disdain science and rely instead on faith based beliefs. Historically they've followed leaders believing their chosen leader can assuage their many fears and solve the many problems they seem to have with life. Cults of personality.

Isn't it interesting that both Donnie and the Ayatollah consider themselves "conservative"...

Putin also claims to be a conservative.

The Ayatollah and the mullahs must be loving this moment - all the fifth grade school yard taunts from Donnie just strengthens their position and further marginalizes the moderates who want a stable, open Iran.

Pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal, threatening "obliteration" - Donnie is giving the far right crazies in Iran everything they would ever ask for...

It makes one think there must have been a back-door deal here somewhere - US far right crazies with Iran far right crazies - likely assisted by Russia. Maybe this was one of the the topics Donnie discussed with Vlad when they had their meetings with only a Russian interpreter and no notes. Trump Tower Tehran financed by Russian oligarch money? Investigate and find out.

Isn't it interesting that both Donnie and the Ayatollah consider themselves "conservative"...

Well, would any of us negotiate with Trump, Bolton or Pompeo for anything?

Or the US for that matter. Trump has shown that the word of the US is only as good as the length of time the current president is in office. If the next one didn't like the last, they'll just tear up any agreements regardless of their validity.

In a world where countries thrive or die on their reputation, Trump sure seems hellbent on tanking that of the US.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

the Trump administration "the most sinister" U.S. government,

Definitely sinister. The Trump admin is the least transparent, most dishonest US govt in modern history.

What all is Trump hiding?

Who all around the globe is he working with, perhaps beholden to?

Why has Trump been so aggressive in attacking the free, for-profit press that questions him and his bumbling?

Democracy will die in darkness. And Trump and his neo-con admin continue dimming the few remaining lights.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Well, would any of us negotiate with Trump, Bolton or Pompeo for anything?

Why would would they negotiate with us, after we backed out of a deal that they were abiding by?

4 ( +8 / -4 )

Oh, and the build up to Mueller's testimony is going to cause him to become more erratic and emotional.

Buckle your seat belts, crazy Unxle Donny's about to hit the nitrous in the clown car with Iran.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

The Iranians learned from watching countries that do not have any nukes be pushed around. They watched the DPRK detonate nuclear devices. They know their oil will be smuggled out in exchange for hard currency.

Donny is a bumbling moron driving a flaming clown car down an alley slamming into dumpsters and setting them alight.
