They're basically just piggybacking.

(Though dunno why since these guys just got pwned.)

"Many Muslims find drawings of the prophet to be disrespectful or outright blasphemous"

They should lighten up and try to enjoy life.

Well their thugs attacked France over cartoon images, so it's not a huge leap to expect them to do the same in America... or anywhere for that matter.

Welterweight boxing is almost looking like a safer career alternative than cartooning, and a lot more lucrative.

One thing I found odd in a documentary about the life of John Lennon was how one major critic during the bed-in protest, even confronting John and Yoko in their Canadian hotel room, was a top syndicated cartoonist. He was the creator of Andy Capp or Lockhorns. Obviously he didn't take it beyond political rhetoric, just interesting how involed he go in countering the harmless if wacky bed in protest.

The cartoonist Al Capp did indeed visit John Lennon and Yoko Ono in their bedroom protest but he certainly was not the creator of the cartoon Andy Capp, that was Reg Smythe.

You're right, after reading more about the Montreal bed in, I see that Al Capp created Li'l Abner, which is probably a much better cartoon than those other two. Capp did speak to Yoko pretty rudely. Maybe he assumed she couldn't follow what he was saying?

“We tell America that what is coming will be even bigger and more bitter, and that you will see the soldiers of the Islamic State do terrible things,”

Hmm. Based on the outcome of this caper, perhaps they're alluding to an upcoming Life of Brian People's Judean Front Suicide Squad.

“Two of the soldiers of the caliphate executed an attack on an art exhibit in Garland, Texas, and this exhibit was portraying negative pictures of the Prophet Mohammed,”

I'm sure 144 virgins are washing their hair tonight.

ISIS-wannabes, I would imagine.

What is most notable about this encounter is that a policeman armed only with his service pistol was able to take down two guys in body armor with assault rifles.

IS did not do their homework; otherwise, they would have picked a liberal state, i.e., a more torerant place toward muslim "sensitivities", to launch "its first attack on U.S. soil".

Lesson to be learned here is: Don't Mess With Texas.

These fools who carried out this failed attempt have exposed their brethren to mockery and ridicule.

Americans love the little guy and hate the little guy who hate America.

You may hate us, but if you piss off us enough we will make sure to hate you back!!!!!

If you want to be an American you best learn to be tolerant of others......We are all armed to the teeth and will defend our right to live in peace to the bitter end!

Welcome to America....

Eric Sheppard is a perfect example of someone who just doesn't get it!

Texas A&amp!!

"don't mess with Texas" (tough words) from a red state which backs them up! Great input here. Thankx.

When I read this I found it both funny and sad. Funny that any Islamist would even be stupid enough to try and pull a shooting in a gun-lovin' right to bear arms conceal carry state, and sad that I may just have to purchase a handgun soon to "protect" myself from other people who carry guns besides law enforcement and active military.
