And the powers that want to control hydrocarbons, especially the US, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iran and some European countries (i.e. yesterday's colonizing powers), sit comfortably in their respective mansions while the homes of Syrian and Iraqi people are destroyed, while Syrian and Iraqi people are forced to leave their homes just to stay alive.

The different factions may have conflicting belief systems (that's what they want us to believe is the primary reason for the conflicts they start in MENA, the Horn of Africa, etc.), but what each has in common with the others is the desire for greater control, for the power and wealth that comes from controlling resources.

Until the world significantly reduces hydrocarbon consumption, the masters of oil, aka the masters of war, will continue to destroy other people's homes. While the masters sit comfortably in their respective mansions.

if so many people want an islamic state, let them have it in peace. don't smash everything, kill civilians, create revenge attacks and steal their resources after selling weapons to both sides.

IS is just a front. It's a US, Saudi, Israeli, UK backed proxy whose meant to take power away from the Syrian people.

If the US would simply stay out of it, the conflict would end very quickly.
