Three cheers for that off-duty police officer. Thank you for your bravery and service.

Good job this 'soldier' lacked the resources to procure a gun.

Daesh seems to be increasingly desperate to claim credit for similar outrages by fellow travelers anywhere in the world - shouting "Allah u akhbar" before attacking people at a shopping mall with a knife hardly makes you a soldier - except, apparently, in the army of Daesh.

Erm, no, one of those attacks is suspected as "intentional" not "terror".

But in any case, it's very telling that IS is only claiming one of them, and only after news is coming out that there was a Muslim connection. What does this say about their ability to orchestrate international terror?

Of course they are. The more attacks they can claim responsibility for, the bigger their image is. They can claim stuff like "we're winning like no one has ever one before. We're going to win so much that our enemies' heads will spin. They won't be able to believe how much we're winning'.

"Hillary Clinton said she strongly condemned “the apparent terrorist attacks in Minnesota, New Jersey, and New York” and said Islamic State’s claim of responsibility for the St. Cloud attack should “steel our resolve to protect our country and defeat ISIS and other terrorist groups.”

Yeah, but she and Obama are the ones who let ISIS grow in power.
