The world should be appalled that Hamas and its terrorist supporters are using civilians as human shields as Israel lawfully conducts defensive acts in order to provide security for its people.
The fact that Hamas and other Gaza factions are still keeping hostages shows why those groups need to be eliminated, which Israel is doing in a manner that limits any civilian casualties.

The goals of Hamas seem to be pretty reasonable. We need to dialog!

In that genocide, many children survived but they don't have any family anymore. Even humanitarian personnel already have term for them Wounded Child No Surviving Family (WCNSF). Even Putin can't popularize that term during war in Ukraine. So what occupier don make poor orphan in extreme traumatized for their lifetime.

I find it all incredibly sad. Please let’s make peace and save lives and that goes for Ukraine and Russia too.

So, the Israeli regime orders people to head to the southern part of Gaza, then bombs the southern part of Gaza, and we're supposed to believe that the death toll is rising 'despite evacuation orders'.

As the Israeli regime keeps slaughtering women and children the west remains silent in the face of what? Being labelled antisemitic? How is being appalled at obvious war crimes and calling it out being antisemitic ? The US is the wrong “peace” broker in this as the corrupt senators are so afraid to anger organisation’s like AIPAC they would still call it good if the war criminals slaughtered all the Palestinians!

An Israeli investigative journalist was interviewed on al Jazerra a few days ago . He said the current plan as revealed by 5 separate serving or past Israeli defence and intelligence officers, was called "Power Strikes "
The aim was to indiscriminately kill Palestinian civilians when bombing "targets "" to kill Hamas operatives.
The idea was that bombing and deaths would turn the Palestinians against Hamas.
In previous wars in Gaza , you will recall, Israel gave a 30 minute warning for residents of a targeted high rise to evacuate.
This is absent in this current war.
Additionally, the Israeli journalist interviewed stated that the IDF had an excellent idea of how many citizens would die/be maimed in an airstrike, a concept likely accurate given the heavily monitored nature of the Gazan population with citizens required to provide addresses among other details to the Israeli occupying force.
So, let this pretense of human shields " be put in the rubbish bin where it belongs.
Israel is killing tens of thousands of non-combatants deliberately and even the USA is starting to be uneasy at this approach.

Given that every human rights organization agrees that what the Israeli regime is doing in Gaza is something that needs to be stopped because of everything it violates, and despite the creativity and intensity of the campaign to deny it, those the Israeli regime are attacking are mostly legally the population of Israel, when an outside force (most likely Iranian lead) intervenes claiming a humanitarian duty to protect the victims of a civil war from a regime, while Japan and the rest of the White Bloc will scream about the illegality of that action, in contrast to their cheering the American intervention in Syria, what do you think the reaction will be in the majority of the world?

The "regime" didn't order anyone to the south. It warned civilians it would initiate an internationally legally based defensive attack against Hamas.
And no one believes the death toll that the Hamas terrorists claim. Israel has precisely bombed military sites and has limited the civilian death toll to just a few hundred.

Genocide
Sanjinosebleed
Yep Genocide pure and simple! Zero justification for this slaughter except it is collective punishment which is clearly a war crime and should and hopefully will be treated as such!
looks also like Israel want to claim this land as well now and drive all the Palestinians into Egypt as refugees with no right of return! Another war crime!

That's an interesting question. I suppose Iran could launch an official military campaign in support of the people of Gaza. I suspect people on the ground in Iraq will just be wondering what all of the explosions to the east of them are about, though.

Hamas is not a terrorist militia. It is the voice of most oppressed Palestinians. Abbas is an American/Israeli puppet. When there was an election way back, Hamas won.
now Gaza is the worlds biggest concentration camp, while all that is left of Palestine is experiencing the 2nd holocaust.

Just a short statement of thanks to the many Jewish people in Israel and world wide who are condemning the actions of the Israeli Government and the IDF bombing campaign.
Elected Israeli politicians are being censured and barred from Parliament for speaking their opposing views. Israeli employees at Universities are being sacked for speaking out.
Netanyahu wants the war to continue because of the corruption charges he is facing.
Full support and thanks to brave Israelis who see Palestinian rights as part of the solution to this ongoing conflict.

If you find Ukraine sad, you should respect its territorial integrity as that change is permanent.

GuruMick@ Your pithy words of "thanks" ring hollow. You might not like it, but from everything I've seen, the attack by Hamas has united Israelis in a common purpose for the first time in many years, and understandably so.

Netanyahu has replaced King Herod as the Jewish poster-boy for killing babies, not to mention children of all ages with their mothers and fathers. Israel's Western backers are becoming more and more agitated as voters' revulsion and anger rise at the shameless in-their-face war crimes committed by the IDF "just looking for tunnels" hiding Hamas under "human shields. The unintended consequences for Israel's future arising from war crimes of this magnitude may yet surprise.

...the attack by Hamas has united Israelis in a common purpose for the first time in many years, and understandably so.
But has divided Jews of the diaspora, many of whom are revolted by the carnage in Gaza resulting from Netanyahu's brutally malicious, indiscriminate, violent assault on all human life, family homes, hospitals and public buildings. Malignant seeds of anti-semitism have also been sown by an unprecedented YouTube spectacle of horror that has far surpassed anything anyone of us has witnessed in our lifetime.
deanzaZZR
What percentage of the bombs and artillery shells that are killing Palestinian civilians were produced in the USA?
GuruMick
NCIS reruns above.
Yes....a human response to being attacked is to seek vengeance ....we see that in wild animals as well.
A" united Israel " all seeking vengeance and more slaughter leads to what ?
An animalistic response ?
We have multiple examples in history of people being "united " under a cause that in modern eyes now seems barbaric.
Remember the Nazis ?
They were popular ....the Germans elected them and Hitler , and so called "normal German citizens and soldiers " just accepted the reality of transporting and killing millions of Jews.
Being "united " under a cause doesnt make the cause right

Two things that seem to have been ignored by other comments.
1) An occupying power is never defending itself from those it occupies according to the Geneva Conventions, no matter how feverishly the occupying power and its backers insist otherwise.
2) The Israeli regime's military commanders are extremely convinced that a war with Iran would leave them facing prosecution for their actions because there wouldn't be an Israeli regime to protect them, just a reunited Palestine, which is why every time in recent decades it looked like whoever was in charge was seriously considering that course of action, their retired comrades became very public in opposing that act.
Iran may have an astonishingly small military budget, but that is because rather than using the military weapons procurement process as a way of underwriting research and development in the 'strategic sectors' they directly funded research and development in those sectors and then designed a military weapons procurement process that would allow them to mass produce everything at need. No 'well, we're going to build up a stockpile and only ramp up production later' issues, they'll be firing almost exclusively this year's weapons with this year's ammunition pouring out of 'idle' factories, and redesigning and retooling based on real world results by the second week (if needed)

The people on here who never criticize Hamas are also the same people who never say anything about freeing the hostages. Strange, isn’t it?

... people who never say anything about freeing the hostages. Strange, isn’t it?
That's Netanyahu's problem. He sure talks the talk, but how many hostages were taken because of his failure to stop the expected Hamas attack and how many have died and may yet die from Israeli bombs? And the number of precious Israeli lives extinguished by the IDF on Oct 7 remains to be revealed.
stormcrow
It is rather ironic, though, isn’t it?
Hamas murders, tortures and rapes over a thousand innocent civilians (including many babies & children), Israel angrily responds, yet the victims end up with the blame. Strange, isn’t it?
