Israel says it retains right to take military action against Syria

Right to steal people’s land, stop them from having food and clean water, detain them without trial, kill children or just shoot their knees so they are camputated without proper access to medicine, destroy millions of old olive trees, make checkpoints so a 20 minute journey takes 4 hours if allowed in their own land, pass apartheid laws, have massive influence over USA politics and treasury, assainate people on foriegn soil with impunity, the winner of the most UN human rights awards, devastated Lebanon’s infrasture, destroyed Gaza's only sewage plant, selling weapons to dodgy countries, sexism, racism...

of course it is alright to bomb other countries with big bombs! They are the role model for the world. Especially Syria, which is next to Iran.

sorry if I sound negative to Israel, and I have a best friend and ex who are Jewish and I’m not racist, but I was bombed in south Lebanon while backpacking. Not nice as I an a European.

The last surviving Apartheid regime is Jewish in the same way that ISIS is Islamic. In other words, in their propaganda only.

Well, Iran's only goal is to attack Israel. They don't care about the Syrians, but will most certainly try to situate themselves to continue to wage proxy/direct battles to "destroy Israel"

@Goodlucktoyou, those are two separate situations. Even before the Palestinian issue, Iran has been on the same track of "destroy Israel" since the Iranian "revolution" that put the current regime in power. Iran uses the Palestinian plight to "justify" their goal for the gullible.

Now this doesn't give any justification for what Israel is doing to Palestine. But it does give justification for Israel to attack Iranian movements against it.

Military action isn't a "right."

It is using force, usually deadly, to try and get what you want.

Israel is good at it for their region of the world. Their military targets are places which want to harm Israelis or support those who want to harm Israelis.

Syrian air defenses on Monday night mistakenly struck a Russian Il-20 military plane after an Israeli raid on a Syrian army facility, killing all the crew members.

Ouch.
