Just like when some countries tried to ban Russian athletes simply because of their nationality.

Sports and international politics should never mix.

I welcome a ban/boycott but

Mahathir, now 93 and in his second stint as premier, has in the past attracted criticism for his verbal attacks on Jews, including calling them "hook-nosed"

Is unquestionably anti-Semitic.
