The search for safety across the besieged Gaza Strip has grown desperate as Israel intensified its assault on the territory’s largest city.

Israel humanely gave advance notice to evacuate, but Hamas told the people to stay.

Hamas is committing war crimes on a daily basis using civilians as human shields.

Palestinian militants have continued to fire rockets into Israel, and an attack on Tel Aviv wounded at least two people Friday,

Hamas continually commits war crimes as it shoots missiles at civilian populations in Israel.

Thousands of Israelis are under attack, and need humanitarian aid right away.

Creature of Israelis lies,is digging a deeper hole, among his own party members, the people of Gaza were always under Israel occupation, not able live free from the thumb of Israel occupation

Israel should do everything it can within the limits of its ability to limit civilian casualties.

But Hamas murdered 1,400 including women and children in the most barbarous ways and intentionally intermingled among civilians including in hospitals and refugee camps.

This is on them.

Widespread war crimes committed by Israel, endorsed by several of the world's most powerful countries, especially the US.

Where's the Western world's outrage, instead of the muted mumbling we see?

Imagine if the outrage if the situation was reversed?

Appalling hypocrisy.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Friday that “far too many” Palestinians have died and suffered.

This is one of the more truthful statements in this article.

However, such people, half of them children, have all been "killed" and didn't just die. Israel killed them.

Exactly. And this is going to haunt the west in the future. No one is going to listen to the US and its allies now when they attempt to take the moral high ground in future conflicts. The US is not really aware of the amount of damage to its credibility that this crisis has inflicted on it.

However, such people, half of them children, have all been "killed" and didn't just die. Israel killed them

Exactly. Israel is no longer just an apartheid state. It is a terrorist state. And it is playing with fire. If the region erupts in conflict, we will not see skirmishes here and there. We will see a regional conflict which many US, European and other defense analysts have said could in fact spell the end for Israel.

Maybe stop parroting IDF rubbish

That’s where the remaining Hamas military leaders are obviously hiding, the hospital.

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

Blacklabel, are you sure that is not where the hostages are being kept too?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

yes, that is likely as the military leaders would be using them as human shields, no?

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Israel will suffer from this on the international stage for years to come.

Yes, but it’s not like the Israeli's and the Jewish nation were held in high regards by the international community and it didn’t matter then and doesn’t matter now.

That’s where the remaining Hamas military leaders are obviously hiding, the hospital.

They definitely have their work cut out for them, but destroying the hornets nest has to be done.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

The violent far left got a political cartoon depicting such humans shields removed from the Washington Post as being “racist” towards Hamas.

Oh noes, we can’t have that!!

> Yes, but it’s not like the Israeli's and the Jewish nation were held in high regards by the international community and it didn’t matter then and doesn’t matter now.

For some years the situation was peaceful. But the Trump and Biden administrations have done zero to find a peaceful solution. The world is now inflamed about what Israel is doing to Gaza. Today, there are many protests in Europe. It does matter because the tide of anti-Semitism is increasing and Jews are being killed.

I was referring to the rising tide of anti-Semitism in Europe and the US, and Jews being attacked there. No need to twist the story, the reality is becoming bad enough.

I'm not interested in your left-right definitions.

according to the Gaza Health Ministry

A not-hidden signal to ignore what comes after that clause.

Israel has repeatedly said Hamas uses hospitals and other sensitive buildings, such as schools and mosques, as cover for military activities, and has presented videos it says are evidence.

UN organizations have also confirmed that Hamas uses tunnels under schools from which to launch its terrorist attacks.

Some 250,000 Israelis have been forced to evacuate from communities near Gaza and along the northern border with Lebanon, where Israeli forces and Hezbollah militants have traded fire repeatedly.

This is the actual humanitarian crisis in the region now. These war crimes committed against Israel need to be dealt with as harshly as possible, no matter what it takes. Israel must eliminate Hamas from Gaza regardless of how long the mission needs to go on. Every last one needs to be eradicated for the safety of Israel and for the security in the region.

-7 ( +4 / -11 )

No, on Oct 7, Hamas set out to take hostages to exchange against the several thousands of Palestinians held in israeli prisons without due process, including many women and children. Most of the israeli civilian casualties of Oct 7 were due to the israeli response. israeli forces (soldiers, tanks, helicopters...) shooting at anything that moved and shelling houses occupied by both Hamas and civilians. Hamas is actually demanding an independent international investigation on what happened on that day.

It seems the israeli regime has no regard for civilians, whether they are Palestinian or israeli.

-1 ( +6 / -7 )

This really opens the eyes of people around the world about the west and US hypocrisy. Asia countries now see more importance to align themselves with china and russia. Hope Japan, South Korea and Taiwan can wake up to this as well soon. Which are human, and which are just evil two-face war mongering puppets.

Yes, but it’s not like the Israeli's and the Jewish nation were held in high regards by the international community and it didn’t matter then and doesn’t matter now.

Indeed, israel has gotten away with committing similar genocidal mass murder of Palestians several times before because of US protection. But today, America's power and influence has been greatly weakened.

This time, israel might finally be forced to move back to the June 1967 borders.

This time, israel might finally be forced to move back to the June 1967 borders.

Of course, that will never happen. Israel is a country. Gaza and Jedea and Sumaria are Israeli's lands, so if anything, Israel looks to gain more sovereign territory.

Hamas cannot stop Israel. Hezbollah cannot stop Israel. Iran is afraid to engage with Israel militarily. The Arab countries in the region have expelled the Gaza Arabs in the past, and certainly do not want them now.

Hamas does not care for the Arabs in Gaza.

Right now, Israel and the US are the Gaza Arabs' only friends.

you said killed. Obviously referencing the murder of the Jew by the pro Hamas protester.

But that’s inconvenient so you are now uninterested in the specific murder, just generalities for now until something less inconvenient pops up.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

For some years the situation was peaceful. But the Trump and Biden administrations have done zero to find a peaceful solution.

Abraham Accords. But putting that aside, no one can fix this issue, but Israel can put Hamas on ice and put them for a long time out of commission.

The world is now inflamed about what Israel is doing to Gaza.

We have a lot of ignorant people.

Today, there are many protests in Europe.

And? We have them as well in the states.

It does matter because the tide of anti-Semitism is increasing and Jews are being killed.

So then it starts with education. Whatever happens in Israel and Gaza, there is no justification to attack Jews globally, hit them, shot, assault them or kill them-period. We can disagree all day and if people want to be sympathetic to Hamas and their cause and listen crazy people like Thalib that’s on them. You can be pro Palestinian and be very anti-Hamas which many of Israeli supporters are.

Macron threw Bibi under the bus, because he knows Bibi will be ousted in few weeks, and to save France from Muslim and Arab retribution, the people of Israel should accept responsibility for their country policy, they finance Hamas and took a cut of the aid that Hamas received,if anybody the blame it the people of Israel by having this dysfunctional relationship with Hamas

claims the militant group and hospital staff deny.

Why did AP forget to mention the following:

The hospital is Indonesian many of the doctors and staff are Indonesian and they are the ones saying the above.

The Indonesian doctors pointed out in other reports that they have over 50 children in ICU and another nearly 50 in NICU in incubators, how are they supposed to move them!

This is such a bias report even CBC wouldn't use it!

But I suspect our resident rah rah rah kill more Palestinians will claim that even these Indonesian doctors and staff are all lying just as they have said the UN is lying!

> you said killed. Obviously referencing the murder of the Jew by the pro Hamas protester

The problem with this is that the facts don't match the rhetoric.

Since 2009 to before oct 7th over 6,500 Palestinians were killed by Israelis over half women and children, this includes more and more by armed settlers in the west bank in the same period fewer than 400 Israelis were killed by Palestinians.

So in reality it has been Israel doing the killings, it has been the IDF, armed settlers, etc..killing Palestinians.

These are facts long known by the international community and nothing was done.

The false claims that life will be better for Gaza without Hamas is completely nullified by looking at the West Bank.

Settlers increase, new settlements built despite supposed accords, all immigration, construction materials, major construction, even water supply is controlled by Israel and it makes sure it is kept to a level at best.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/west-bank-settlers-violence-israel-palestinians-1.7019263

https://www.972mag.com/idf-destroys-9-water-tanks-in-parched-palestinian-village/

The destruction of water cisterns has been a backbone of control!

These are just 2 examples other include excuses like " the cisterns can be used to steel water from settlers".

So lets be honest, the Palestinians in Gaza know very well, Hamas or no Hamas they will be living in an apartheid system with Israeli boots on their necks, and will need to beg Israel for the right to even get water!

You mean like arm illegal settlers and blow up water storage in the West Bank!

You mean ethnic cleansing?

That sort of thing that it has been quietly doing in the West Bank as it helps settlers take more territory each year slowly pushing the borders back more and more against supposed agreements!

Is that what you mean by

the IDF has to do whatever it can

??

0 ( +5 / -5 )

The IDF are war criminals they are targeting hospitals schools refugee camps, shelters!

This is what the IDF does!

It is their specialty!

Qana massacre:

On April 18, 1996, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) shelled a United Nations (UN) compound in Qana, Lebanon, killing over 100 civilians and wounding hundreds more.

And this list of similar attacks on such places is far too long to list, it seems either the IDF has the worse aim with its guns or the only other conclusion is they do it deliberately!

2 ( +6 / -4 )

How about the 8,000 dead women and children Arabs? Any thoughts on that?

First, you have no evidence for that number. Second, it has been made very clear that any Gaza civilian casualties are the responsibility of Hamas.

The Indonesian doctors pointed out in other reports that they have over 50 children in ICU and another nearly 50 in NICU in incubators, how are they supposed to move them!

So Israel is supposed to not defend themselves because of this?

Settlers increase, new settlements built despite supposed accords, all immigration, construction materials, major construction, even water supply is controlled by Israel and it makes sure it is kept to a level at best.

Entirely irrelevant because Israel is now defending itself because of Hamas and its supporters murdering, beheading and burning babies, 1400 civilians in Israel, and kidnapping 200 more. That is why Israel has to purge the Gaza Strip of all evil, no matter what it takes, getting every last one of them. Eliminate, eradicate.

That's where we are at now.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

The first time you have posted a single concern for the Arabs.

I always supported the Palestinian people. I never said a bad thing about the Palestinian people, but I do have a fundamental problem with Hamas and I think Hamas needs to be eradicated.

How about the 8,000 dead women and children Arabs? Any thoughts on that?

Sad, but it’s to be expected especially when you have Hamas building their base camp under a hospital and around and in schools and around civilians, so death is to be expected. As cautious as the IDF will be deaths will happen.

Of course he doesn't because like the 2 others here, he doesn't believe the numbers killed because Israel hasn't told him to!

Like the two others the UN is lying, the Indonesian doctors at this Indonesian run hospital, the Palestinians, Arabs etc..are all lying and the only truth is whatever Netanyahu and Israel say!

Legally the killer is always held responsible.

Entirely irrelevant because Israel is now defending itself because of Hamas and its supporters murdering, beheading and burning babies, 1400 civilians in Israel, and kidnapping 200 more. According to whom?

You mean ethnic cleansing?

If they were doing that, Gaza wouldn’t be on the map the way we know it. And if they really were doing that, they’re doing a very bad job at it.

That sort of thing that it has been quietly doing in the West Bank as it helps settlers take more territory each year slowly pushing the borders back more and more against supposed agreements!
