Mick- you're dealing with numbers and facts rationally- something the other side is not interested in. They are only interested in shrill screams about how they have to kill to be safe.

Hamas was estimated to have around 20,000 to 25,000 fighters in Oct 2023. The U.S. estimated that Hamas had recruited another 15,000 by the end of 2024.

The problem with Israel's numbers is that they're always followed by the caveat "without providing evidence."

The 50,000 death toll doesn't include the many more thousands presumed dead but lacking positive conformation. The 50,000 also only includes those killed by direct traumatic injury. It doesn't include those killed by things malnutrition, exposure and destruction of medical services and infrastructure.
