Nah. Not giving privileges is not equal to denial of rights.

Since when are these privileges?

since when are they not?

Disheartening that ever more countries go down this road. Eventually, non-injected will have to wear marking on their clothes, be isolated and restricted in their rights. Maybe someone will come up with the idea that it would be more efficient to concentrate them in camps.... do not be surprised when that concept is floated.

Orthodox Jews have strong beliefs

Including the belief that they can spread infection wherever they go?

Some beliefs simply don’t work in a civilized society, and the belief that it’s OK to hurt others at random is one such.

If you want to be a member of society, enjoying the perks of that society - restaurants, concerts, social gatherings of every kind - then you adhere to the rules of that society.

If you believe that your god will keep you safe without a vaccine, then stick with others of similar mind. And keep your unvaccinated breath away from folk who believe in helping themselves and each other.

(BB mentioned Orthodox Jews; my views apply to all who think their religious affiliations take priority over the general good, whether they are Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindi, Druids, Satanists or whatever. So no outraged cries of anti-Semitism, thank you.)

Ideally!

and restricted in their rights.

No, no one has suggested restricting their rights. Literally no one.

“Many even reject working”, why would you mention that? Puzzling comment. Has nothing to do with Covid.

Most Jewish people, orthodox, ultra orthodox and what have you have been vaccinated. Sure, initially them and other religious folks had reservations about Covid vaccinations, but from what I have read, most of them have turned around.

We are free people

No one is free to willingly endanger others. Please read the majority opinion in Jacobson v Massachusetts 197 U.S. 11, (1905). The US Supreme Court upheld a Massachusetts law requiring all residents to be vaccinated against smallpox or face a fine and perhaps jail in the face of frequent smallpox epidemics in that state. The opinion in that case nicely shreds all of your arguments.
