Smooth criminals.

I wouldn't put it past his dad for being one of the people who are putting up such scams.

wish the online scammers would just 'beat it'.

Scammers in all forms will continue to exist (as they have for millenia) as long as there is a big, uneducated mass of morons willing to buy what the scammers are shoveling.

These scammers won't stop til they get enough.

I don't know: That $100 Michael Jackson note (bill) looked pretty real to me. -Thankfully it only cost me a few ObamaDollars.

Some Japanese were just caught at the Italian border with 1 trillion yen in Neverland bearer bonds issued from the Bank of Michael.

He's not dead, just transformed into Janet's body. Don't believe me, anyone seen them both together in public?

Computer virus peddlers should be publically flogged when caught. These type of cyber attacks cost huge amounts of money and time.

usaexpat, I don't know if they should be let off so lightly. The amount of money and time they waste with their operations, with what they steal, and what the governments flush down the toilet to "catch" these people is probably well over what Bernie Madoff stole. I think some nice draconian sentences would work better, as the pain from flogging is only temporary, and probably wouldn't deter enough people if there's a buck to be made.

Flogging is too good for spammers, 20 years, 12 hours a day, 7 days a week de-infecting other peoples computers would do just fine by me. In the last 10 years I have, thankfully, only had to do it twice, but that is more than enough to know how horrible a job it is.

It's human nature.

There are so many elements to Jackson's story: child abuse which Michael acknowledged happened to him; racism in our society which made him reject his own blackness; homophobia which led him to reject his own gayness and invent a phony straight life; greed which brought him the company of enablers and hangers-on who did not have his best interests at heart. And now, we are in the next episode. We all need to examine our own hearts.
