Bringing more Japanese people to a terrorist zone does not seem a very smart idea. Make no mistake: these dreadful islamists will do everything in their power to kill more non-muslims for their twisted plans.

Rest in Peace to all the victims.

Japan to BRING victims' kin TO Bangladesh... The Japanese government is planning to SEND a plane to Bangladesh on Sunday evening to BRING family members of the victims.

They are either SENDING a plane FROM Bangladesh to Japan to BRING family members TO Bangladesh, or they are SENDING a plane from Japan TO Bangladesh to TAKE family members to Bangladesh.

Which is it?

The AP needs some serious editors. This article is confusing on too many levels to be called "professional" journalism.

Anyway, my heart felt condolences to victims families.

Such a horrific story but why take the victims families to a very dangerous place. What are they thinking????

Bringing more Japanese people to a terrorist zone does not seem a very smart idea.

It's not a terrorist zone. People see one terror attack in a country that they have little experience with and label the whole country a terror zone. There are some great places to visit in Bangladesh (though it is very poor).

50 people murdered in Orlando Florida, yet nobody is scared to go to Disney World. Visitors to Paris and London are probably more like to experience terrorism than those in Bangladesh.

As the internet connects the entire world with communication, entire world is already a terrorist territory. It is a matter of recognizing that fact and taking what ever steps necessary.

Here in Japan, we are already experiencing civil disaster training which includes terrorist attacks in many prefectures at many towns, with SDF participation. The only problems appears to be the lack of participation by corporations that can by their very size and number of employees could help in that training; including every airport, rail and other mass transit related businesses which will play a key transportation role in any disaster. The next is of course the communication related corporations which play one f the most important role in coordination.

Hopefully we do not experience any terrorist attacks here for a long time to come.

The civil defense training still emphasize the earthquake disaster scenario. Which brings me to assume that earthquakes are an immigrant disaster that is actually expected. Probably even more so than a terrorist attack.

“wandered all night” from hospital to hospital in hopes of finding his wife,She was later identified as slain in the restaurant.

I feel his despair. RIP you 28.

So the UN has

reaffirmed that terrorism “constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security.”

What are they doing about preventing it then? I don't think condemnation is working.

No one can predict and thus prevent a terror attack.

It was vile, that's for sure. But I'm sick and tired of reading something like, 'the UN strongly condemned'...blah, blah, blah. That body of bureaucrats is not worthy of any notation in a story like this. And yes, RIP to the victims. This subversive 'war' is sick, just like the perpetrators are mentally ill, whatever their so-called religion.

Tragic. At least get the grammar right. "Japan to TAKE victims' kin...". It can only be "bring" if the writer is physically in Bangladesh.

Send a plane to ------- this means from Japan to B? Least Japan can do to moaning relatives.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I don't understand what the 2nd paragraph of this report says at all. Are they sending a plane to bring relatives back to Japan or take them to Bangladesh.

Bring can mean carry with you to a place your heading to or carry to the place you are. It's usually obvious from context although many Brits e.t.c. get confused. http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/bring

your welcome !

Veejay, If you recall the Christians launched the crusades to retake the Holy Land back in the day and did a lot of indiscriminate killing. More recently in what used to be Yugoslavia, Both Christians and Muslims killed a ton of people in "ethnic cleansing" I personally am not religious in anyway but I am not going to look down on those who are. When we start putting large general labels on groups of people just because of their membership in a faith or group trouble is brewing. Furthermore ISIS, AL Qaeda etc are hardly representative of the larger Islamic Faith they are just splinter groups that commit enough atrocity give make the billion other Muslims look bad in the eyes of some.

It can only be "bring" if the writer is physically in Bangladesh.

The article's dateline states 'Dhaka, Bangladesh', so the writer is presumably in Dhaka, or at the very least is writing from that perspective. Thus it's correct to say that the plane carrying relatives from Japan to Bangladesh is bringing them. :-)

Matthew Simon, you have forgotten to mention about Muslims force Christians to convert Islam and the Christians who refused to convert to Islam were cruelly murdered by Muslim invaders. Any way, I don't want to see Bangladesh becoming center of Islamic militants’ movement. There are Buddhist and Hindi peoples in Bangladesh. Buddhist peoples in Chittagong Hill Tracts were attacked and murdered by Muslims for their fertile lands. If Islamic Terrorists are rooting in Bangladesh and then these Buddhist peoples will be targeting by Islamic Terrorists. The world needs to give urgent assistance to Bangladesh Government for to control terrorism spreading across the region.

The government plane is taking the families of victims to Dhaka from Japan, and there they meet the bodies, and immediately the plane take the families and the bodies back to Japan. It should be a matter of a few hours under heavy guard that they stay in Dhaka.

Ii1067 explained well. These victims will have proper funerals instead of morgues in a foreign country. RIP
