Nooooooooo!!!!

Even if he's a smart guy with great ideas for the country, he has to realise that dynastic rule will irreparably harm America's democratic image in the long run. Same with the Clintons. If they want to serve the country, they should do it in some other capacity.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

He looks like that guy from the warriors movie "Can You Dig It?"

Criminal gangs running the country. Fitting.

-6 ( +5 / -11 )

Don't be fooled by his claims of being a mainstream moderate. His political beliefs are still more conservative than the majority of Americans. And as his brother did he will move to the right if elected.

4 ( +11 / -7 )

'The former Florida governor, whose wife is Mexican-born, addressed the packed college arena in English and Spanish, an unusual twist for a political speech aimed at a national audience.'

Hope his Spanish is better than his English given his problems understanding very basic questions regarding Iraq.

5 ( +11 / -6 )

Wonder where the next war will be. smh

0 ( +5 / -5 )

27 Republicans have either declared candidacy or still have active exploratory committees (compared to 13 for the Dems, with only two serious candidates). Of those, anywhere from 12-15 could head into campaign season as legitimate candidates for the nomination. This says a lot about the current, fragmented state of the Republican Party.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

What is wrong with "dynasties" or succession of heirs is that each one tries to outdo each other and wants to get out of the shadows of their family predecessor. We see this with Abe through his grandfather and father and also with George Bush jr.in the Bush dynasty.

Today, Americans certainly cannot go around knocking third world countries for the succession of puppet dictators since they are leading the game now.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

No more Bush's and no more Clinton's.

Don't be fooled by his claims of being a mainstream moderate. His political beliefs are still more conservative than the majority of Americans.

Is that comment supposed to be some kind of joke? Jeb is not much at all different from Hillary Clinton. They will both pretend to be partisans during the primaries while they both take big checks from Goldman Sachs executives and support crony capitalism and big government. Hillary is over the hill, Nixonian, and represents a bygone era of shaming her husbands conquests as sluts and grubby-handed greed. Jeb is a milquetoast 'compassionate conservative' which translates to trillions more in debt and ignorance of the principles that made America great.

Sure Jeb is the less of the two evils, but after eight years of bumbling Obama America deserves better.

0 ( +8 / -8 )

The scary thing is, he will win.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

I normally always vote for Democratic party candidates, think Obama is a great president (with the exception of his handling of TPP), and disliked Bush number on and especially Bush number two.

I thought there was no chance that I would vote for Jeb until I watched his speech — I was pleasantly surprised and am now willing to take a second look. He came across to me as a person who could improve America's relations with the rest of the world (unlike his brother), particularly with Mexico.

Win or lose, I'm looking forward to watching his campaign unfold.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

The scary thing is, he will win.

It wouldn't be the first time the GOP would have a weak nominee but Bush isn't even starting from a front-runner position and it is hard to see what he could do now to make people forget his name and make himself more attractive than Clinton.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

So Clinton vs. Bush?

Perhaps its time for the US to end the democratic experiment and just institute a ruling aristocracy, where certain leading families govern from the White House by rote, it would save everybody a lot of money.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

“I will campaign as I would serve, going everywhere, speaking to everyone, keeping my word, facing the issues without flinching,” Bush said, . . .

. . . 'Except that Iraq war thing. Whoever started that disaster shouldn't have had the Florida Governor institute corrupt voting laws that his Secretary of State used to dump out thousands of valid ballots, that guy was a real idiot.'

When you're afraid to use your last name, you've already lost. JBush is just as corrupt as AWOL Bush. Their poor dad, even their poor mummy can't stand the family name any more.

The GOP-Tea just sees this buffoon as another AWOL, easily manipulated and completely without any ethical or moral structure. That's what made AWOL such a great President, he didn't care then and couldn't care less about his disasters now, 'he sleeps well'.

"One of the things important about history is to remember the true history." --George AWOL. Bush, Washington, D.C., June 6, 2008 - a history the GOP-Tea can't talk about

"I'll be long gone before some smart person ever figures out what happened inside this Oval Office." --George AWOL. Bush, Washington, D.C., May 12, 2008 - except the accountant's at Cheney's Halliburton.

0 ( +6 / -6 )

Ain't gonna happen. These election bids are merely huge graft-generating projects in which millions of dollars are collected in campaign contributions, and paid to supporters to help run the campaign, however hopeless it may be. Bush's campaign is fantastic waste of time and money, and will do no good for the people, except those who are hired by the campaign. And this goes for people like Bernie Sanders, or Ralph Nader, they know they aren't going to win, but an election campaign gives them the chance to spend a lot of other people's money, which is the raison de'etre for politicians and would-be politicians.

Want your kids to go to a good school? Hire a relative of a university president to print your posters, and place a huge order. Two-thirds will probably go to the landfill, but the money has to be spent, and the printer will make a lot of money. There are hundreds of ways which candidates can use their campaign contributions to enrich themselves and their friends. Gotta love politics.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Hooray for mononyms! The only way to ensure Hillary's victory is to nominate this idiot to run against her. They don't even need a dopey VP candidate who can see Russia from her house.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

American doesn't need more backwards, yey god, anti-equal right twits to drag them back the dark ages.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Any American who is willing to put up with a Bush and a Clinton running for president has totally and utterly betrayed the original reason for existence of his/her country. America has gone to the dogs and this is proof, if we ever needed it after the recent succession of fools and time-wasters. Come on, we all deserve better than this.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Bush and Clinton families becoming like royalty. US is an oligarchy. and sad fact is that Hilary will likely win.....

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Neither his father, former President George H.W. Bush, nor his brother, former President George W. Bush, attended Monday’s announcement. The family was represented instead by Jeb Bush’s mother and former first lady, Barbara Bush, who once said that the country didn’t need yet another Bush as president, and by his son George P. Bush, recently elected Texas land commissioner.

Only Bush with any sense is Barbara. The world does not need more inept leadership from the conservatives. We have had 7 years now of relative peace with Obama as President and the economy is growing again.

But if Bush does win, it is all over. Hillary will mop him up by linking him to his failure brother. Jeb is making that easy by hiring all the dopes that were in Junior's ship of fools. Jeb might even have Cheney run as VP again.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

That's it - game over lights out for the GOP.

BTW, this election is most likely not going to be Bush vs. Clinton.

Trump's going to announce he's running soon, yet another sign that the Repugs have no idea what's good for America.

We all know what republicans are against - here's a shortlist:

Immigrants Women's rights The middle class The lower class The environment Mexicans Education Infrastructure Healthcare (Obamacare) for their own mothers Socialism Jobs bills Anyone who doesn't speak English  'Liberals' Anything Obama thinks, says and does except TPP, which will only enrich their fat cat handlers

.......but what are they for?

Oh, hang on - we know that, too. Republicans' voting records show exactly what they are for:

A dirtier more polluted environment for everyone (including their mums, kids and grandkids) Exporting American jobs (via TPP) The elite 1% Supporting terrorism by launching more useless wars A deteriorating infrastructure that they refuse to fund Lower educational standards for all Americans Poisoned GMO food for all Americans to enjoy and share with the world Less freedoms for women Less freedoms for the LGBT community "Biblical science" Scientific research to study the planet, etc.

Bottom line here: if the GOP keeps putting up extremist, clown candidates, they're just gonna keep on losing.

They've been doing well in mid-terms of late, but when it comes time to step up to the big plate, they collapse.

2016 is going to be no different.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

To clarify a point regarding the "dynasty" argument: the Bush family has included two U.S. Senators, one Supreme Court Justice, two Governors and two Presidents (one of the two presidents also served as Vice President). Bill Clinton's father died before he was born, and he was raised by a stepfather who owned an automobile dealership.

I have mixed feelings about Hillary, but we're not even skipping generations here. Jeb's history can be traced in steps through several states back to their family compound in Maine; the Clintons can trace their history to a shotgun shack in Arkansas. Totally different story.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

The secret love affair that United Statians have with the Bush.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Hillary gets women support. Bush gets Hispanic support. None for others. Name calling opposers are very minority.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

On the Dem side, if it isn't going to be Hillary, it'll be Warren, and both women could mop the floor of any and all GOP candidates.

Point of interest - Obama is going to be instrumental in choosing the next president of the US (who will not be a Republican). Whoever he gives the keys to his ground game election machine to is going to win.

Yes, that's the same ground game election machine that conservatives have been deriding for nearly a decade that was based on something else conservatives love to belittle;: the "community organizer" skills of candidate Obama.

And those are the same "community organizer" skills that Obama used to bury the GOP in 2 straight elections, soon to be 3. :-)

Looking forward to the next round of GOP "soul searching" as they try to figure out why they lost yet again in 2016, the answer to which is blatantly obvious and has been for years.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Looking forward to the next round of GOP "soul searching" as they try to figure out why they lost yet again in 2016, the answer to which is blatantly obvious and has been for years.

They'll only do that for as long as it takes them to start hating the next president for being a woman. After all, they won't be able to hate her for being black.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

If you want to win an election in the US and your political philosophy and election strategy involves hating on and opposing:

Women's choice and rights over their own bodies

Immigrants

Muslims

The LGBT community

The entire middle/bottom class

Rights to clean air and water

...while ostracizing anyone who isn't Christian, claiming to be Christian while supporting bombing of other countries and persecution of LGBTs, and propping up a bunch of largely undereducated loser candidates every time ......you're just not going to win.

Blatantly obvious, largely why the GOP has lost 2 straight, and they STILL don't get it.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

The entire middle/bottom class

To be fair, they've recognized that the people think this is a problem now, which is why you get them talking about poverty these days.

Of course their solution to it is to get rid of Obamacare, and not raise taxes on the rich. So their actions haven't changed. But they are making the brainwashed feel better about it by acknowledging that the people think there is a problem.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Hope his Spanish is better than his English given his problems understanding very basic questions regarding Iraq.

Probably smarter than your average voter.

Criminal gangs running the country. Fitting.

Hmmm, how is he a criminal? Ahhh, his last name makes him a criminal....ok.

I normally always vote for Democratic party candidates, think Obama is a great president (with the exception of his handling of TPP), and disliked Bush number on and especially Bush number two.

Obama was a great president? Don't you need to be a proactive president in order to be functionally decent at least?

“I will campaign as I would serve, going everywhere, speaking to everyone, keeping my word, facing the issues without flinching,” Bush said, . . .

And yet, I doubt if he were elected as president, he would bow to the Saudis and go on an apologetic tour.

. . . 'Except that Iraq war thing. Whoever started that disaster shouldn't have had the Florida Governor institute corrupt voting laws that his Secretary of State used to dump out thousands of valid ballots, that guy was a real idiot.'

That's not what 80% of Florida residents felt, but then again, many people's lie voted for Obama...twice, so there is hope.

When you're afraid to use your last name, you've already lost. JBush is just as corrupt as AWOL Bush. Their poor dad, even their poor mummy can't stand the family name any more.

Proof please. Leave the partisan emotions out of it please.

The GOP-Tea just sees this buffoon as another AWOL, easily manipulated and completely without any ethical or moral structure. That's what made AWOL such a great President, he didn't care then and couldn't care less about his disasters now, 'he sleeps well'.

So now you want to lump in with Obama, but you failed to mention his accomplishments.

http://m.thefiscaltimes.com/all/articles-2013-03-15-jeb-bush-10-things-you-should-know-about-him#3

In his two terms as Florida’s 43rd governor, Jeb Bush challenged the status quo and reshaped state government in order to lead Florida, the nation’s fourth most populous state, towards a prosperous future. Summing up his legacy in The Washington Post, Governor Bush said:

“This office has more authority to create the agenda and implement it…My gift is that we’ve shown that governors can be activists, they can be reformers, if they want to.”

Governor Bush proposed and signed into law meaningful education, spending and taxation, health care, and environment policies that have set a transformative course for the state.

"I'll be long gone before some smart person ever figures out what happened inside this Oval Office." --George AWOL. Bush, Washington, D.C., May 12, 2008 - except the accountant's at Cheney's Halliburton.

What's the correlation with Jeb and Halliburton? You are too funny.

I have mixed feelings about Hillary, but we're not even skipping generations here. Jeb's history can be traced in steps through several states back to their family compound in Maine; the Clintons can trace their history to a shotgun shack in Arkansas. Totally different story

You want to start on the Clinton scandals, the litany of trails? Gee, how much time do you have? If anything Hilary should be the last person to elected to anything. Funny, the libs are trying to dig dirt on Bush and all they can do is just try to get on him is through his brother and when libs complain this much, that means they're scared.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

If conservatives continue to spell Hillary's name "Hilary," can liberals spell Jeb's name "Je"?

3 ( +4 / -1 )

"I doubt... he would bow to the Saudis..."

Not all Saudis, just the ones who stayed at the Crawford ranch and got honorary last names, like ambassador Bandar Bush.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Not all Saudis, just the ones who stayed at the Crawford ranch and got honorary last names, like ambassador Bandar Bush.

And Hilary's list reads like a dictionary of honorary bribes...extorted.....I mean, contributors.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Oh god, not another one.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

There's no need to worry, except for your time and money being wasted on this guy; there's no chance he'll win. He's been shown to be an outright fool years ago, and an even bigger moron in the past few months. He can't even answer a simple question about Iraq before backtracking, then refusing to answer completely because he can't remember which way to flip-flop. He'll win more votes for the nomination than most candidates because those candidates are not only equally or stupider than the shrub himself, but they are downright crazy like Canadian-born Cruz. But even if he does win the nomination -- for which he will likely call in his friends again at Faux news and have them announce he's won well before voting has stopped, like he did with his brother -- he'll never win against whomever the Dems have running. The Dems are laughing as the 30 or so candidates aren't even considered serious contenders by their own party and while the media claims to control who will be president (which Faux was chided for last week and forced to hold another debate for the 'minor' runners).

It's hilarious to watch them panic and infight.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

There's no need to worry, except for your time and money being wasted on this guy; there's no chance he'll win.

You guys said that about the GOP winning the House and the Senate as well as I recall.

He's been shown to be an outright fool years ago, and an even bigger moron in the past few months.

You're right, maybe it would have been better if he would lie like Hilary.

He can't even answer a simple question about Iraq before backtracking, then refusing to answer completely because he can't remember which way to flip-flop.

Hilary can't...NO won't, refuses to ask ANY questions.

He'll win more votes for the nomination than most candidates because those candidates are not only equally or stupider than the shrub himself, but they are downright crazy like Canadian-born Cruz.

Because Cruz fits the very definition of what an American is, Immigrant parents, blue collar family, hard working, great family, NO scandals. So now the hate simmers....

But even if he does win the nomination -- for which he will likely call in his friends again at Faux news and have them announce he's won well before voting has stopped, like he did with his brother -- he'll never win against whomever the Dems have running.

It just gets you and the libs, you can't stop Fox (as if they have anything to do with this, but it is getting them more viewers) he could very well bounce out Hilary, she's way down in the polls with independents, which is definitely something to worry about. Over 40% of Americans don't trust her and you think Hilary is a shoe-in. Good lord, don't make the same mistake you guys have been making with these elections.

The Dems are laughing as the 30 or so candidates aren't even considered serious contenders by their own party and while the media claims to control who will be president (which Faux was chided for last week and forced to hold another debate for the 'minor' runners).

The Dems have A socialist, a guy that wants to push us on the metric system, a liar and a man that was responsible and oversaw one of the largest riots in recent memory.

It's hilarious to watch them panic and infight.

The GOP feels the same.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Saw him at a rally on the news last night... another gormless fruit from the Bush... tree... yeah...

Anyway, I pity America if he wins.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

It was like this before the last 2 elections - lots of "tough" "fightin'" talk from the conservatives, and then they got steamrolled by the Community Organizer-in-Chief.

After watching USS GOP slowly sinking beneath the waves, the same conservatives started hassling their president's community organizing skills, the same skills that sunk their ship of fools.

Pretty funny. :-)

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Yeah that Metric system, and somewhat of a social democracy.. gee sounds terrible... oh no thats right.. sounds pretty good to me :-)

1 ( +1 / -0 )

It takes a Clinton to beat a Bush !

1 ( +1 / -0 )

'The Dems have A socialist, a guy that wants to push us on the metric system, a liar and a man that was responsible and oversaw one of the largest riots in recent memory.'

The rich have continued to pull away while the stagnant and sinking classes have watched them disappear into the distance under Obama. Their portfolios and allegedly yours have done very well while they pay historically near low taxes.

This is the problem. You watch Fox and have been convinced that what has been going on under Obama is socialism. You are already in partisan mode defending Bush while attacking Clinton. You can't get a cigarette paper between them and either would deliver what you want - war and a million kisses on the backsides of Wall Street and business plutocrats. I don't see what you as a supposedly rich man are getting so febrile about.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Saw him at a rally on the news last night... another gormless fruit from the Bush... tree... yeah...

We got Hilary, even worse!

Anyway, I pity America if he wins.

I have been pitying America for the last 6 years and we still have 511 more days to go.

It was like this before the last 2 elections - lots of "tough" "fightin'" talk from the conservatives, and then they got steamrolled by the Community Organizer-in-Chief.

But then the GOP took over Congress.

After watching USS GOP slowly sinking beneath the waves, the same conservatives started hassling their president's community organizing skills, the same skills that sunk their ship of fools.

That's just about the ONLY skills he has and he's not even good at that.

Pretty funny.

Actually, it's quite sad.

Yeah that Metric system, and somewhat of a social democracy.. gee sounds terrible... oh no thats right.. sounds pretty good to me :-)

If the people don't want it, then why force them? I thought in the US, we had freedom of speech and choice or does that apply if liberals dictate what freedom is?

The rich have continued to pull away while the stagnant and sinking classes have watched them disappear into the distance under Obama.

And under Obama the poor have gotten so poor that 47 million Americans are up on food stamps. Blacks are in a far worse position than any other ethnic group and yet, they voted for this Charlatan. People are having a tough times paying their premiums on Obamacare and 57% of Americans now hate the darn thing, so since Obama has been in office it is safe to say, he compiled and burned and buried what was left of the lower class. By the way, you mention nothing about the rich liberal elite of Hollywood and Silicon valley or do they get a pass because they vote for the party of Robin Hood?

Their portfolios and allegedly yours have done very well while they pay historically near low taxes.

Yes, I do! But I never spooned off the government.

This is the problem. You watch Fox and have been convinced that what has been going on under Obama is socialism.

I'm sorry, but please don't throw accusations about me, you don't know what I do, read or how I conduct my business. Thank you.

You are already in partisan mode defending Bush while attacking Clinton.

No, I am not a partisan, I just don't like and don't accept liberal hypocrisy. Libs have absolutely nothing on Bush, nothing and they try (I know this firsthand from experience) to dig up anything they can find and they can't. He's virtually clean, Now we have Hilary a woman that is shrouded in mystery about her financial contributions, her foundations, her relationships with various dictators, her unwillingness to give interview to reporters, we still didn't get to Benghazi, but that's coming, this time, she can't dodge, weave or wobble. If you guys were hard and wouldn't giver her a pass, but you guys don't that's why I think the record should be corrected.

You can't get a cigarette paper between them and either would deliver what you want

I don't smoke!

war and a million kisses on the backsides of Wall Street and business plutocrats. I don't see what you as a supposedly rich man are getting so febrile about.

Maybe, I am just passionate about my country and tired of liberal moonbats destroying it.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

And under Obama the poor have gotten so poor that 47 million Americans are up on food stamps.

The republican solution to the problem: Get rid of Obamacare, and don't raise taxes on the rich.

No, I am not a partisan... Libs...

You know just saying you're not a partisan doesn't make you a non-partisan. Being non-partisan makes you non-partisan. Care to name anything non-partisan about yourself?

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

It takes a Clinton to beat a Bush !

No, I wouldn't be too confident.

Hillary needs a good VP candidate to beat Jeb like Sen. Jim Webb who is also running for Dem. Primary. Hope Hillary is smart enough to pick him. He is a rock for Hillary. He is an ex Marine Worrier and he has been very firm against Chinese aggression in the Pacific. He is one of few who understands issues involving Okinawa in Washington.

Go Hillary! Pick Jim Webb for VP!!

The republican solution to the problem: Get rid of Obamacare, and don't raise taxes on the rich

Not get rid of it, I can see that might be difficult, but you can with bipartisan support, gut it, tweak it and take out any unnecessary provisions to bring the cost down on the premium to the consumer. As for taxes, the liberal out of control and through the nose paying taxes, go to California and you see exactly what happens when a blue, the bluest of states succumbs on liberal social policies. Definitely, the poor aren't benefiting from it. In fact, If you are poor, California is the last place you want to live. Amazing, we used to have the 5th largest economy in the world and the libs finally created the state that is swimming in debt more than any other state.

You know just saying you're not a partisan doesn't make you a non-partisan.

True, but I know what I am and that's all what counts.

Being non-partisan makes you non-partisan. Care to name anything non-partisan about yourself

Sorry, but the thread is not about inquiries about my life.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

I can see that might be difficult, but you can with bipartisan support, gut it, tweak it and take out any unnecessary provisions to bring the cost down on the premium to the consumer.

It's nice that you think so - are you running for president? Because I haven't heard of any proposal by any of the candidates for anything other than getting rid of Obamacare.

Sorry, but the thread is not about inquiries about my life.

You opened it up by claiming you're non-partisan. I think we all know that to be false, I was just wondering if you would show us otherwise. Apparently you can't.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

You opened it up by claiming you're non-partisan. I think we all know that to be false,

And you are entitled to your opinion.

I was just wondering if you would show us otherwise. Apparently you can't

Don't need to.

'And under Obama the poor have gotten so poor that 47 million Americans are up on food stamps. Blacks are in a far worse position than any other ethnic group and yet, they voted for this Charlatan. By the way, you mention nothing about the rich liberal elite of Hollywood and Silicon valley or do they get a pass because they vote for the party of Robin Hood?'

'Buried what was left of the lower class'. Implicit in your statement is that the less well-off have seen their situation sink for years before Obama. America's social mobility now ranks at the bottom end of all developed countries and the myth-making of the land of opportunity is now ringing very hollow. Obama has failed to even make a dent in the problem of the stagnating and sinking majority ( please read this sentence carefully - I am criticizing Obama ) which has been festering for over 3 decades now. The rich Hollywood elites are as parasitical but less intelligent than the plutocrats I mentioned.

'Their portfolios and allegedly yours have done very well while they pay historically near low taxes.

Yes, I do! But I never spooned off the government.'

You told me he's buried the poor and put more money in the pockets of the rich but still call him a socialist? He's certainly continued the kind of wealth redistribution which is diametrically opposed to socialism.

'You can't get a cigarette paper between them and either would deliver what you want

I don't smoke!'

Don't give up the day job. Repartee isn't really your thing. They are basically the same thing. Why are you so forgiving of Bush?

'war and a million kisses on the backsides of Wall Street and business plutocrats. I don't see what you as a supposedly rich man are getting so febrile about.'

'Maybe, I am just passionate about my country and tired of liberal moonbats destroying it.'

Liberals and Conservatives alike have created the grotesque, bloated plutocracy the US has become. Your portfolio is supposedly humming along nicely - Obama, like Bush, Clinton, Bush and Reagan have delivered the America you seem to want. You seem very concerned about the plight of the buried poor. What's your solution? Cut taxes further and wait for that wealth to finally trickle-down?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Implicit in your statement is that the less well-off have seen their situation sink for years before Obama.

What is it with you libs about not addressing current issues with a current president.

America's social mobility now ranks at the bottom end of all developed countries and the myth-making of the land of opportunity is now ringing very hollow.

That's why I moved to Texas. a liberal free zone where it's still possible to live at least in the State of opportunity.

Obama has failed to even make a dent in the problem of the stagnating and sinking majority

Thank God for miracles

which has been festering for over 3 decades now. The rich Hollywood elites are as parasitical but less intelligent than the plutocrats I mentioned.

You think so? Hmmmm...

You told me he's buried the poor and put more money in the pockets of the rich but still call him a socialist?

The money that I make didn't come from Obama, nor did he have anything to do with my investments.

He's certainly continued the kind of wealth redistribution which is diametrically opposed to socialism.

Yes, he has.

Don't give up the day job. Repartee isn't really your thing.

That's a subject for a different debate.

They are basically the same thing. Why are you so forgiving of Bush?

In part because Jeb didn't do anything (Yet) other than have the infamous last name and a "R" and he's not even a hardcore conservative, a light moderate at best.

Liberals and Conservatives alike have created the grotesque, bloated plutocracy the US has become.

True, but at the same time, you choose to give libs a past, but excoriate conservatives.

Your portfolio is supposedly humming along nicely

You keep talking about my portfolio. I get the feeling you are jealous.

Obama, like Bush, Clinton, Bush and Reagan have delivered the America you seem to want.

Definetly not Obama, overall and generally speaking.

You seem very concerned about the plight of the buried poor. What's your solution? Cut taxes further and wait for that wealth to finally trickle-down?

Worked for me, but robbing Paul to give to Peter has and never will work.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

Just with the announcement, I think Jeb's job's done. He'll probably need a burning bush to clinch this one.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

'He's certainly continued the kind of wealth redistribution which is diametrically opposed to socialism.

Yes, he has.'

Finally! You agree that Obama isn't a socialist. Respect to you, Bass.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

when your president promises to raise your bills for no (intelligent) reason and you still vote for him all bets are off.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Jeb, said he would not have gone in the middle east.... I hope he will withdraw US from Europe and Asia and let those countries PAY for their own problems. He has my vote and I get too vote.

Yeah? Well, get ready for one of them, probably Clinton. After all, California's 55 electoral votes are necessary to win the presidency, and the Democrats have had California locked up for a long time. But wait, Jeb is popular with Hispanic voters... oh, my...

Yes, he has.'

Finally! You agree that Obama isn't a socialist. Respect to you, Bass.

I never said that! But if it pleases you to put words in my mouth, so be it.

The scariest thing is he could win the Republican nomination. There are still millions of Americans who love his father and his brother.

George W. winning his re-election is actually what made me say, screw this, man, I gotta get out of this country.

America really has it all, but it's the land of wasted opportunity. The natural resources, the right universities, wealth, and all of this can't breed people with common sense. The USA really should be above it all, China should never have been a threat, but they can't seem to save themselves from themselves.

You have the power and the minds to reduce pollution, create new energy sources, keep the world safer, have the most productive middle class and workforce the world has ever seen but instead you didn't learn anything from where you came or failed to grow from previous wars or mistakes... Why, America? Why? No country has what you do within your own borders.

Just freaking grow up!

Bass: "I thought in the US, we had freedom of speech and choice or does that apply if liberals dictate what freedom is?"

LOLOLOLOL!!!! Gotta love the selective amnesia/hypocrisy! :-)

Conservatives love talking about how important their "freedoms" are while going all out to restrict women's freedom to choose whether or not to have an abortion, restricting teaching of other religions (non-Christian) in schools, restricting homosexuals from getting married, where does it end? If you guys want people to respect your freedoms, first, try respecting theirs.

Bass:"People are having a tough times paying their premiums on Obamacare."

Haha. :-) It's called healthcare. It helps keep people healthy. It doesn't grow on trees or come out of a cereal packet. Yes, it costs money, welcome to the real world.

Obamacare is helping 6-7,000,000 more Americans to afford to pay their doctors and health professionals and yet according to some conservancies, Obamacare is "destroying America!"

Moonbats, for sure.

Bass: "No, I am not a partisan, I just don't like and don't accept liberal hypocrisy."

LOL! This, from the same guy - who as pointed out above, exhibits exactly the same characteristic he criticizes.

Bass: "Maybe, I am just passionate about my country and tired of liberal moonbats destroying it."

Hahahahaha! :-) Hey, man, you gotta stop this, you're wearing me out. :-)

Liberals destroying your country?  After bush and co. sent the deficit into the stratosphere, started 2 unwinnable wars that directly led to the deaths and maiming of nearly 50,000 Americans, and the rest of the Republican cabal who are completely ignoring slash denying climate change, the greatest threat our species has ever faced, and you're going off about liberals????????

bass4funk: "Don't need to."

There's a difference between "can't" and "won't", but in your case you won't answer because you can't, hence you keep deflecting about the calls for you to prove you are not being partisan despite you bringing it up and all of us knowing you very well are. Yes, he has.'

Finally! You agree that Obama isn't a socialist. Respect to you, Bass.

Bass, your logic is, as always, flawless. You agree that Obama puts money into the pockets of the rich while driving the poor further into the ground and yet insist the man is a socialist. What is the nutty right definition of a socialist these days? Someone who supports gay marriage or believes in evolution?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

LOLOLOLOL!!!! Gotta love the selective amnesia/hypocrisy! :-)

You should, libs practically invented it.

Conservatives love talking about how important their "freedoms" are while going all out to restrict women's freedom to choose whether or not to have an abortion,

You mean, LATE TERM, so we're talking about 9-10 months which makes NO sense, how about adopting, or libs just care about easy process of elimination.

restricting teaching of other religions (non-Christian) in schools, restricting homosexuals from getting married, where does it end? If you guys want people to respect your freedoms, first, try respecting theirs.

What schools are you talking about? Last I heard, some schools won't let you wear a cross if you are Christian, but install sinks for Muslims to wash up for their daily prayers, so now who is intolerant? Gay marriage is not a serious issue now, if they want to get married, good for them, libs make this a bigger issue then it really ought to be. And please don't preach about conservatives. Michelle Obama telling and forcing people and schools what to eat or how about if you don't believe in something that libs believe in, they will ostracize you, belittle you harp on you, libs are far worse when it comes to being intolerant about anything and that is coming from the supposedly tolerant group.

Haha. :-) It's called healthcare. It helps keep people healthy. It doesn't grow on trees or come out of a cereal packet. Yes, it costs money, welcome to the real world.

Hmmm...So then why is it that over 57% of people hate it and that a large majority of people are OVER paying on their premiums and picking up the tab for others, why? If Obama took it upon himself to change and give Obamacare to 11 million that didn't have it, fine. Why change everyone else's healthcare, by the way, more and more doctors, especially in California are NOT taking the crap. So welcome to reality my friend.

Obamacare is helping 6-7,000,000 more Americans to afford to pay their doctors and health professionals and yet according to some conservancies, Obamacare is "destroying America!"

The Wall Street Journal: Premiums Rise At Big Insurers, Fall At Small Rivals Under Health Law Hundreds of thousands of consumers nationwide who bought insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act will face a choice this fall: swallow higher premiums to stay in their plan, or save money by switching. That is the picture emerging from proposed 2015 insurance rates in the 10 states that have completed their filings, which stretch from Rhode Island to Washington state. In all but one of them, the largest health insurer in the state is proposing to increase premiums between 8.5% and 22.8% for next year, according to a Wall Street Journal review of the filings. That percentage represents the average rate increases for all individual health plans offered by that carrier

Moonbats, for sure.

Definitely!

LOL! This, from the same guy - who as pointed out above, exhibits exactly the same characteristic he criticizes.

Let me get this straight, because I criticize the opposition more and I do both, as I said before I don't have love for either party, but the libs are seething with hypocrisy and for some reason think their S*** don't stank!

Hahahahaha! :-) Hey, man, you gotta stop this, you're wearing me out. :-)

Because you're not an American and you are not serious, so for you it just might be amusing.

Liberals destroying your country?

I said it!

After bush and co. sent the deficit into the stratosphere, started 2 unwinnable wars that directly led to the deaths and maiming of nearly 50,000 Americans,

And more than 1 million during the sectarian uprising and still continues...

and the rest of the Republican cabal who are completely ignoring slash denying climate change, the greatest threat our species has ever faced, and you're going off about liberals????????

Climate change? Seriously? That's really the most important issue that is of monumental concern to most Americans. smh!

There's a difference between "can't" and "won't", but in your case you won't answer because you can't,

No, because I don't need to or have to, nothing more, nothing less.

hence you keep deflecting about the calls for you to prove you are not being partisan despite you bringing it up and all of us knowing you very well are.

I am not. But believe what you want, some people believe in Santa. I have on JT and in my private and my professional career criticized both parties, I don't care. Again, you can say what you want of me, as long as I know what I am, that is all that matters and if you paid attention, you would have seen me get on many conservatives, but I admit with libs I don it more, because libs spin more, take Hilary for example, she should get a degree in spinning, she does it so well.

But given whom you support, and the fact that you follow Fox news,

Again, with this nonsense. What is up with you and Fox? Give it up, thankfully they will be here long after you and I are dust.

who always shoot off at the mouth and then can't back up what they say with any shred of proof, it's not a surprise.

Wrong again, but nice try.

SushiSake3: "Bass, why do you always support, stick up for and defend candidates who......lose? What is that telling us about your judgement?"

Bass: "You mean, LATE TERM, so we're talking about 9-10 months which makes NO sense, how about adopting, or libs just care about easy process of elimination."

No, there's conservatives out there who are battling for abortion to be banned pretty much from the moment of conception.

Bass: "Gay marriage is not a serious issue now."

Haha. :-) It's pretty much all the Christian conservatives bemoan about at present. Just check ChristianPost.com and you'll see what I mean.

Bass: "Michelle Obama telling and forcing people and schools what to eat..."

LOL! What, like healthy food? Bass, do you have a problem with the president's wife encouraging schools to feed healthier food to American children?

REALLY?? :-)

But I agree - it'a terrible because she's infringing on school's freedoms to choose to feed cr*p to kids!  Socialism ! Big gubmint!! Haha. :-)

Bass: "Hmmm...So then why is it that over 57% of people hate it and that a large majority of people are OVER paying on their premiums and picking up the tab for others,"

Picking up the tab for others? Um, mate, that's how universal healthcare works. Ask anyone in the nearly 100 other countries (including Evil Socialist Nations like Sweden) that have had universal healthcare programs for years.

Bass: "If Obama took it upon himself to change and give Obamacare to 11 million that didn't have it, fine."

Glad you're finally seeing sense!

Now, when Republicans holler about gutting or getting rid of ObamaCare, here's their alternative:,-->  [ N O T H I N G......]

That's right - nothing.

Republicans and many conservatives are quite happy to strip 11 million Americans of potentially life-saving healthcare and let them fend for themselves.  If they can't fend for themselves and make their own way, let them die is the conservative message, and let's not forget how much conservatives love to trumpet about how America is a "Christian nation" under God who also let poor people die and made the rich richer.....hey, hang on!!!!

"Hundreds of thousands of consumers nationwide who bought insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act will face a choice this fall: swallow higher premiums to stay in their plan, or save money by switching."

Um, mate, again, welcome to the real world. Find me a country where health insurance premiums aren't going up. I used to work my country's largest private health insurance company. Premiums go up if customer counts fall, if people migrate to cheaper plans, and as medical tech costs rise.  Premiums are like taxes: if there's not enough premium income to meet costs, premiums will probably rise It's basic economics.

Before the event, the Bush campaign came out with a new logo — Jeb! — that conspicuously leaves out the Bush surname.

Heh, while driving through my state's liberal hellhole -- Austin -- on my way back home a few weeks ago, I saw this bumper sticker that read 'HILLARY 16'. I wonder who they were referring to?

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

@Texas A&M Aggie. Be thankful you live in TX. In my "hellhole" CA, it's a polluted with those bumper stickers on every highway. Before that, it was Obama-Obama. Before that- "Kerry & Edwards". So annoying.

@Wc626: read that both Obama and Granny Pantsuit will be stinking up your state this week as they go there begging for proggie money from the Hollyweird celebutards.

My condolences.....

"Hope his Spanish is better than his English" Jeb's Spanish is excellent with only a trace of an accent.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

No, there's conservatives out there who are battling for abortion to be banned pretty much from the moment of conception.

True, not all. Most conservatives think that the Westboro Baptist Church members are idiots. Most conservatives deepest opposition to abortion has always been to late term primarily.

Haha. :-) It's pretty much all the Christian conservatives bemoan about at present. Just check ChristianPost.com and you'll see what I mean.

Trust me when I tell, you, libs make it SEEM like it's a big priority for conservatives and it's not, if that were true, then gay marriage wouldn't pass the way it is across the country. But in my home state of California, the majority of people still voted against gay marriage, go to Dallas and you one of the largest lesbian communities. Please stop attaching imaginary half truths.

LOL! What, like healthy food? Bass, do you have a problem with the president's wife encouraging schools to feed healthier food to American children?

Yes, I have a deep problem with the president or anyone forcing me to eat what I don't want. If I want to eat the greasiest foods all day, let me, it's my choice. I know the consequences and if I get fat or obese, it's my choice. You can give me advice, no problem, but I don't want to federal government coming in and telling me, I can't eat this, but I have to eat this. Everyone has a right to eat, live or die the way they choose and they don't need to government to push them and tell them how to live.

REALLY?? :-)

Yup!

But I agree - it'a terrible because she's infringing on school's freedoms to choose to feed cr*p to kids! Socialism ! Big gubmint!! Haha. :-)

Exactly!

Picking up the tab for others? Um, mate, that's how universal healthcare works. Ask anyone in the nearly 100 other countries (including Evil Socialist Nations like Sweden) that have had universal healthcare programs for years.

Yeah, fine, then keep it in Sweden or somewhere else. If I want to go to Sweden, then I will go and live. They can keep their healthcare. No Thanks! Before Obama came, I had a very good healthcare coverage, excellent and then he comes in and changes the entire system, why? Just change it for the 11 million that didn't have it and leave mine alone. But since he messed the whole thing up, people have tried it and now over 57% of people are now fed up with this beast and want some drastic changes to it, if not eliminate it entirely.

Glad you're finally seeing sense!

For THOSE people, fine.

That's right - nothing.

I wouldn't have a problem with it personally, but at least the way Obamacare is right now it can't continue in its current form.

Republicans and many conservatives are quite happy to strip 11 million Americans of potentially life-saving healthcare and let them fend for themselves.

What a bunch of BS! No, they want an affordable alternative where the system doesn't burden other tax payers. That's what they want.

If they can't fend for themselves and make their own way, let them die is the conservative message, and let's not forget how much conservatives love to trumpet about how America is a "Christian nation" under God who also let poor people die and made the rich richer.....hey, hang on!!!!

Stop reading Think Progress and the Daily Kos. they're scaring you too much it seems.

"Hundreds of thousands of consumers nationwide who bought insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act will face a choice this fall: swallow higher premiums to stay in their plan, or save money by switching." Um, mate, again, welcome to the real world.

Again, you're not American, so I don't expect you to understand. I don't want to be anything like Europe, if I did, I would have moved there. I want that choice and I to make it without the government sticking their greedy hands all over it.

Find me a country where health insurance premiums aren't going up.

I could care less what happens in other countries, I just care about what happens in mine.

I used to work my country's largest private health insurance company. Premiums go up if customer counts fall, if people migrate to cheaper plans, and as medical tech costs rise. Premiums are like taxes: if there's not enough premium income to meet costs, premiums will probably rise It's basic economics.

I completely understand and it works for those countries fine, but we have 370 million people, it is impossible for the federal government to think that a universal giant controlled apparatus will work and this huge entitlement beast along with the debt is crippling and destroying the country.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

The American middle-class has been shrinking for quite a while. Only one thing can be said for sure: more tax cuts for wealthy individuals, their families and corporations will not strengthen it. Still, Republicans have convinced the working and middle-class that this IS the answer. Does anyone else find it remarkable that millions of people have been trained to vote against their interests? George H Bush, before being asked by Reagan to be his VP said publicly that "Voodoo Economics" will not work. Those Bushes are pretty smart, aren't they?

bass: Sorry, but the thread is not about inquiries about my life.

This coming from the man who said he was a large business owner in California, but had to close down shop because of the cost of Obamacare. Now it looks like you're in Texas, which is incredibly convenient given the recent reporting of the myth of California companies moving to Texas. And you are a business owner in journalism while maintaining the grammar skills of a high schooler.

I also believe that you said you are personally making a killing under Obama, but you are motivated to work against your own portfolio if it means helping the working man because you feel sorry for them.

If you want to give that, then fine, but no one asked you for this information. When someone says they closed down their company because of Obamacare and didn't even know that it doesn't affect businesses of fewer than 50 people, people might ask you a question or two.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

The Bush family has done enough damage and been successful in their attempts to turn America from a Democratic society to an Oligarchy of Kings which they believe they are. They are horrible people who do not believe working class people deserve living wages, health care, etc. and they continue to try to dismantle the very things that make the USA a civilized nation, such as social security and medicare. The conservatives of America claim to be Christian, yet these people would let every American die from exposure and starvation when too old or sick to continue working as their slaves. Then insane ones, like Jeb, demand families keep their brain dead relatives/spouses alive on life support (Terri Schiavo) causing unbelievable pain and suffering as well as irreparable financial devistation...the family can't pay,the Bushes don't want taxes to pay, so whom do these people think is going to pay? They live in a wealthy bubble oblivious to others reality. Jeb was the beginning of the economic problems in Florida, and if elected,he will put the nail in the coffin in what was once a great caring, progressive, and innovative country. I pray people of other nations can speak to their American friends to educate them why the progressive democrats are not only good for them, the country, but in restoring Americas place as an honorable nation on the world stage. It is truly in everyones interest to keep these violent money driven warmongers out of office.

Bass: "What a bunch of BS! No, they want an affordable alternative where the system doesn't burden other tax payers. That's what they want."

Haha! If the Republicans really wanted an alternative healthcare system they would have proposed one by now. Paul Ryan's your man for that and - wait! - to date he hasn't proposed anything, in fact he hasn't even planned any meetings to discuss it.

What's this telling Americans?  It's telling Americans that this bunch of GOPpers don't give a rat's ar*e about Americans' healthcare.

And what's the end result of that? People fending for themselves and those without the means to pay for treatment possibly dying..

Sorry if that's uncomfortable to digest but that's reality - the GOP doesn't give a toss about Americans' health.

And with you constantly going on about your situation, your business and your financial situation. It seems pretty clear you don't give a toss about other Americans' plights either.

No wonder your country is heading down the tubes!

Super, commenting on JT in my personal life and what I do in my professional are two entirely different things. You can attack me all you want, you don't know who I am, what I do and all the ad hominem attacks is not going to change that. That's your personal opinion. This is not my life. I have no reason to fabricate anything. I know the only thing that libs can do when they get hit with facts is just call people names and hurl insults. It doesn't bother me one bit, in fact it amuses me. Because it's the only thing you libs have, since lacking in ideas and well...

I also believe that you said you are personally making a killing under Obama, but you are motivated to work against your own portfolio if it means helping the working man because you feel sorry for them.

Again? Moving right along

If you want to give that, then fine, but no one asked you for this information. When someone says they closed down their company because of Obamacare and didn't even know that it doesn't affect businesses of fewer than 50 people, people might ask you a question or two.

Which they can.

The Bush family has done enough damage and been successful in their attempts to turn America from a Democratic society to an Oligarchy of Kings which they believe they are.

The same can be said of the Clintons, so if Bush is the nominee, that argument wouldn't fly, it would be a washout comment. Because neither of the candidates could use that as an argument.

They are horrible people who do not believe working class people deserve living wages, health care, etc. and they continue to try to dismantle the very things that make the USA a civilized nation, such as social security and medicare.

How is Clinton better? Lying, being too cozy to Wall St. NOT a friend of Business, especially Big business that hires people, not interested in lowering the corporate tax rate below 40% the highest in the world.

The conservatives of America claim to be Christian, yet these people would let every American die from exposure and starvation when too old or sick to continue working as their slaves.

Obama is doing a great job. We have 47 million Americans on Food stamps for 37 months and if you look at some of his biggest supporters, the black community they have a 10.4% high unemployment rate. The highest of any ethnic group.

But Bush was supposed to go agains the Shiavo family? That didn't cause them pain? Where is your proof the Bush don't want to pay taxes? They pay enough, both of them, Bush's and the Clinton's. Seriously, you don't know what you are talking about? I know libs love taxes over everything else, but come on....

They live in a wealthy bubble oblivious to others reality.

Please! Chelsea Clinton just bought a $10 million home! That's not exactly couch money.

The Clinton's also live lavishly.

Jeb was the beginning of the economic problems in Florida, and if elected,he will put the nail in the coffin in what was once a great caring, progressive, and innovative country.

You can't please everyone, but he did leave with one of the highest approval 80% rating of almost any governor in recent memory.

I pray people of other nations can speak to their American friends to educate them why the progressive democrats are not only good for them, the country, but in restoring Americas place as an honorable nation on the world stage. It is truly in everyones interest to keep these violent money driven warmongers out of office.

You that's why the progressives are shooting themselves in the foot. People are rejecting their radical ideas. California is one of them. The state has been taken hostage by the Silicon valley geeks and the Hollywood progressive left and you have about 10,000 Americans leaving that State every month and the only thing you have left are the very poor immigrants and the super elite rich. The progressive policies have destroyed that once great state and because of that, the Dems lost congress. People are tired of throwing their money to corrupt politicians and people want to keep their money, and that's why they are leaving one of the biggest State.

When it comes to Jebby Bushy running for another opportunity to destroy America, who can get enough of his cheerleader representatives helping everyone understand how wrong and stupid they are?

SushiSake3 just doesn't understand how important it is to have no opinion except the ones offered by FoxNews and the really, really smart people who profited from AWOL Bush's Wars! Pity.

If 'More War Now' doesn't attract enough American voters, maybe racial hatred will turn the tide for the GOP-Tea.

That story about Senator John McCain's illegitimate black child sure hit the sweet spot for GOP-Tea voters last time.

Some people just don't get how subtle the Jebby Bushy crowd can be. Sad.

'Heh, while driving through my state's liberal hellhole -- Austin -- on my way back home a few weeks ago, I saw this bumper sticker that read 'HILLARY 16'. I wonder who they were referring to?'

I wouldn't worry too much. I lived in Texas for a year. In my experience, most outside Austin couldn't read words of more than two syllables unless they'd memorized them from the bible.

When it comes to Jebby Bushy running for another opportunity to destroy America,

Florida is still standing. Destroy America? Our president is already in progress of accomplishing this.

who can get enough of his cheerleader representatives helping everyone understand how wrong and stupid they are?

The people now complain and yet, they voted for this guy twice. So who's really the stupid one?

SushiSake3 just doesn't understand how important it is to have no opinion except the ones offered by FoxNews and the really, really smart people who profited from AWOL Bush's Wars! Pity.

And who can you tell me is profiting handsomely from illegal campaign contributions?

If 'More War Now' doesn't attract enough American voters, maybe racial hatred will turn the tide for the GOP-Tea.

For the past 6 years, libs and Dems have uttered the word race more than any other word in the English language. If you oppose Obama you are a racist. How is opposing his policies racist? But libs will find a way to run wild with the race card.

That story about Senator John McCain's illegitimate black child sure hit the sweet spot for GOP-Tea voters last time.

What does that have to do with anything. So now we need to talk about Bill's past indiscretions? And as I recal, the Dems were all cowering in deep shame when the story broke.

Some people just don't get how subtle the Jebby Bushy crowd can be. Sad.

Same goes for the Clinton bunch.

'Heh, while driving through my state's liberal hellhole -- Austin -- on my way back home a few weeks ago, I saw this bumper sticker that read 'HILLARY 16'. I wonder who they were referring to?'

Intelligence? The Dems have a president that is supposedly the smartest chosen one and yet, he called the Marine Corps. "Corpse?" Hmmm....

I wouldn't worry too much. I lived in Texas for a year. In my experience, most outside Austin couldn't read words of more than two syllables unless they'd memorized them from the bible.

And yet, it's stil a state that literally wouldn't vote for a lib.

How can Americans not love Jebby Bush AWOL II? AWOL I did a marvelous job of bankrupting Americans. Looks like Jebby knows all the moves.

Jebby Bush sat on the board of InnoVida. Until the company's president was indicted (Claudio Osorio is now Inmate #01273-104 at the Miami Federal Detention Center.) and it went bankrupt.

"Corporate board directors have a fiduciary responsibility to shareholders whose interest they represent. Bush endorsed a company that defrauded its shareholders and the government while failing to deliver its product to market."

Jebby advised Lehman Brothers, the financial firm whose collapse helped trigger the 2008 economic meltdown.

The GOP-Tea has another AWOL Bush in Jebby Bushy.

Why are the cheerleaders crying so loudly (and for such lengthy posts) where they present nothing of interest? Very GOP-Tea of course and in keeping with the FoxNews propaganda they disgorge as a substitute for intellect.

GO! Jebby! It's early and the Bush resume is already an anchor. Better that than another Bush headstone for Americans.
