Trump fans better get those donations in. It's better for Trump if the billionaire takes your last dime in situations like this.

“My client is an honest person much to the dismay of certain people in this room.”

Lol What does this even mean? Does Ms. Habba think people wish Trump was dishonest?

Now what childish tantrum is he going to entertain us with?

Mr. Teflon will never be held accountable for one simple reason, He Has $$$$$$, and his money TALKS.

What? That just made zero sense. Lol

@bassfunk

It makes perfect sense as it’s based on historical facts. Trump gets his magat base to donate their money to pay his legal fees.

Lol, if you think so.

It's usually not good for one's case to be viewed as defying the judge or lying to them. I suppose a search warrant could clear up whether or not all the documents in the subpoena have been submitted as Mr. Trump's attorney claims.

Mr. Teflon will never be held accountable for one simple reason, He Has $$, and his money TALKS.

According to his taxes, he is broke. Considering how many of his businesses have failed and that he claimed bankruptcy in the past, I have serious doubts to how wealthy he is.

His most successful business has been to squeeze his disciples for all their money, but I think they’re even catching on now.

Civil contempt can also include jail time

Maybe in some countries but not in a US courtroom. Wealthier people than Donald Trump have been convicted and imprisoned. Bernie Madoff had more than three times the wealth every attributed to Donald Trump but he died in prison. What happened to Bernie Ebbers ought to keep Donald Trump and his close family members awake at night.

According to his taxes, he is broke.

If that were true then the judge wouldn’t hit him with a $10k a day penalty.

Considering how many of his businesses have failed and that he claimed bankruptcy in the past,

And came back again

I have serious doubts to how wealthy he is.

As most people don’t know the land, properties and investment that he has, the guy has more than enough.

His most successful business has been to squeeze his disciples for all their money, but I think they’re even catching on now.

No, building properties and his show the Apprentice

$10,000 per day unless he complies, so, another bill he won't pay.

They can seize bank accounts.

I don’t think he would keep all of his assets in the United States, that would be a stupid move

While real felons are not prosecuted allowing them to continue their criminal ways and even released from jail, the witch-hunt and obsession with the 45th greatest President in modern history continues.

This is just a standard contempt of court issue for failing to address a subpoena.

All citizens are held to the same law.

Trump is and should not be any different.

This has nothing to do with presidential issues.

It's all about business.

This would have come about whether Trump had been president or not.

His company's practices have been under scrutiny for decades and he has paid the price a number of times before.

I'm all for the law going after those who think they are above the law.

Can’t provide something if you don’t have it.

Well, at least he is more interesting than an old man trying to figure out who's hand to shake.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Funny, isn’t it? First they claimed that Trump had overstated the values of his assets, and instead of being a billionaire, he actually had a negative net worth, which made him a potential blackmail victim to players like Putin. Now the claim is reversed, and that Trump has understated the value of his assets. Trump will of course appeal to a higher court, and the cost to New York’s taxpayers will increase by that many more millions of dollars.
