Election subversive applies DIRECTLY to any politician no matter who they are.
It's the whole point of the law.
John
Golly, what a shame that his trial for coup incitement might interfere with his budding fascist dreams…
bass4funk
Well, that’s done with. Time to move on, the Dems to their failed credit gave it their all, committed, lots of tenacity and determination on their part.
Bob Fosse
45 will take a hard fall this fall. Then blow away with the other dead leaves.
Bob Fosse
The entire point of the article is that the case is not ‘done with’ and is just starting.
Have you read it yet?
bass4funk
Like how? Wait, I think I can imagine how...but the right won't make that same mistake again as they did 4 years ago.
Yes, it is done for this year, pheew! And yes, I read the article.
Bob Fosse
Losing? Sure they will. It’s his forte. Even he admits he lost now. Keep up.
Yrral
Bass4, this case is being guided by judicial administration, Biden or Harris has no say in the administration of Justice, but the judge, the judge see all kind of evidence that the defendant is guilty, she probably issued the warrant
bass4funk
Clinging to hope, at least libs are finally keeping an open mind and dealing with honesty and reality, I like that.
Just like Kamala said, she wants to lower taxes. ROFL!
Yeah, I am most definitely keeping up. Lol
Chuck
Huh?
Ah_so
Eh? Your post is a massive non sequitur.
bass4funk
What? Anyway, this is over for THIS election calendar year. They didn't even set a trial date yet.
bass4funk
Hey, just keeping it real, hate the game, don't hate the player.

In summary, potential Trump voters need to be shielded from facts about Trump in case it makes them less likely to vote Trump.
Not sure why Trump is worried, he can just say, "fake nooze"
bass4funk
Or be aware of what this admin is trying to do.
He's not worried, No reason to be. None.

The Hill ....
U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan, an Obama-nominated judge with a history of ruling on former President Trump and Jan. 6-related cases, has been initially assigned to Trump’s criminal case in Washington, D.C.
It is remarkable how Biden/Harris administration has politically weaponized the US judicial system to smear, potentially imprison, to blatantly interfere with US democratic election process in a attempt to remove a candidate., a republican nominee.
To deny US electorate to make a informed choice at the ballot box.
Underworld
itsonlyrocknroll
Actually, it hasn't. There is absolutely no involvement from the Biden/Harris administration in Trump's court cases.
That's on Trump trying to steal the last presidential election.
The courts are trying the case. Not the White House.
And yet the US electorate is not denied to make a informed choice at the ballot box.
Bob Fosse
How?
You frequently claim people don’t know all the facts which conveniently you somehow know all about.
Seems elitist.
itsonlyrocknroll
People commentators, its an humble opinion, not an elitists proclamation.
I am suggesting, every effort, some clandestine are being deployed in an attempt to remove a candidate, to interfere with US democratic process, to skew US 2024 election.
To potentially criminalize a leading opposition candidate.
U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan is politically bias, evidence that the US justice system is not immune from political interference.
Evidence this travesty of justice has been orchestrated to divert attention away from weak, unqualified, Kamal Harris candidacy nomination. Harris/Bidens failures in office.
The fact that Harris campaigns refusal to allow any media process, combative interviews, press conferences, policies are undefined, Harris an enigma, a political flip flopping paradox.
Bob Fosse
Again, if you claim to know this why do you believe others don’t know this? Who made you the font of all knowledge that the average voter can’t see for themselves?
How do you know this ‘evidence’? Where is it?
Why is Harris leading in the polls despite your claims of ‘travesty’?

In 2025, we'll have President Harris and Vice President Walz, along with Dem majorities in the House and Senate...
Trump will be either already in jail or sitting in multiple courtrooms being either convicted or sentenced...
Repubs will start picking up the pieces of what's left of their party - which will either reject MAGAism or split in two with MAGA departing forming their own party...
And our MAGA-fans posting here will disappear as their far-right fairy tale bubble collapses under the weight of reality once again....

Can you please show how you formed your opinion and what evidence it is based on. Because if it isn't based on any evidence, it is made up. And we get tired of made up stuff.
Proof?
It is no such evidence. First you haven't established that she is biased. Secondly, even if you had established that she is biased, it doesn't follow that that is proof that the US justice system is not immune from political interference.
That isn't evidence.
Harris will campaign how she sees fit.
She doesn't flip-flop as much as Mr Trump. Does anyone know what his stand on abortion is? I doubt it because it changes daily.
bass4funk
Exactly.

The chaos in the legal proceedings aiming to extract accountability for felon 45 and bring justice for Americans deprived of a fair presidential election has been sown by the extreme right-wing Trump Republican SC. After the election the priority must be to reform and cleanse the SC of its corrupt interpretations of the Constitution and legislating from its crooked bench. Then rid the country of its major obstacle to the further democratization of elections: the ludicrously named Electoral "College".

Well, according to the polls, it all comes down to Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada—Trump knows it would be a disaster if Kamala wins Pennsylvania along with Wisconsin and Michigan. If Kamala loses Pennsylvania, she would have to win Georgia and Arizona or Nevada (Arizona + Nevada would not be enough).
But when compared to Clinton in 2016 and Biden in 2020, Kamala’s lead (in some polls) and favoritism is minuscule—combine that with the fact that Trump always underpolls and Kamala is in big trouble; he could very well win Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada and NC and win a landslide victory.
—
( Note: The microphones will be muted at the next debate, Kamala won’t be able to say “I’m speaking” 500 times (like she did to Pence), in other words, she won’t be able to distract the voters from her horrible debating skills and nonexistent policies—she has everything to lose. Trump, on the other hand, was hit with everything and is still standing. )

If he hadn’t been president, he’d be dressed in orange and living in a federal prison for what he’s done.

When is this judge going to realize that she serves at the pleasure of President Trump?
She is very “bias”.

i learned about this capitalist dream at Trump University.
Now I are an genius!
bass4funk
There is hope for the left.
Like Merchan, Willis, Bragg and Smith for Biden?
So were the failed lawyers trying to nail Trump
plasticmonkey
That would be MAGA.
bass4funk
No hope needed judging by the Battleground state polls according to Nate Silver, can’t get more left than that guy.
John
If he loses and the case goes forward, he is royally screwed because he is guilty AF.
plasticmonkey
Sorry, but I only trust polls that show my candidate winning.
All the others are “bias”.
bass4funk
No, but I do love accuracy, the truth and changing the dates of the polls to recent do make a difference, I mean, you wouldn’t eat a week old stale loaf of bread, right?
True.
Doubt he will lose, so Dems need to get the Kleenex ready just in case.
plasticmonkey
I’m intrigued. So “the left” has been changing dates of the pollls?
I’d like to see more info about this dastardly conspiracy.
John
Given your history of inaccuracy, you might need them yourself.
I dare not guess how you’ll use them…
bass4funk
Not updating them as frequently.
Dastardly, yes.
Wrong again.
I doubt it. Unless the left....well, anyway....Nope, won't need them.
Wiping the eyes of heartbroken liberals, one at a time.

Is an hour ago recent enough?
Harris 48%
Trump 44.9

More Leftist bias polls
Silver, Halperin, and Rassmussen are pretty much the gold standard and are fair, down the middle.

Speaking of polls…: The polls conducted by left-wing universities and the press managed a levitation of the Harris candidacy to the point of equality in the popular vote with Trump though still a narrow Trump margin in the electoral college. The only polls that have a record of impartial accuracy, Trafalgar and Rasmussen, continue to predict a clear Trump victory. So, at this point, does Nate Silver, though he’s no supporter of Trump.

I haven't heard of the other two, but Rasmussen isn't a gold standard pollster. Also, you are better of with an average of polls. You used to quote Real Clear Polls, but ever since they don't show Trump in a good light, you have stopped quoting them.

Are you kidding. 538 rates Trafalgar as almost 1 star out of 3 and Rasmussen as no stars out of 3.
bass4funk
I would suggest for you to start learning about them.
Yes, it has been for years, funny the left didn’t have a problem with them when they showed Obama beating McCain and Romney

Nope. It's a Republican biased poll.

Haven't seen it for ages.
