So most of the minorities that were rioting, looting and causing destruction were Proud boys? Interesting....

No, most minorities are not Proud Boys. Proud Boys are a fascist white nationalist group that advocates the use of violence, and celebrated Trump calling on them to "stand by". They're fascists, and so is Trump.

No, for this:

For wanting the rule of law? What!?

No, for this:

He literally told a violent fascist gang to "stand back, and stand by" before saying that his supporters should be invading polling booths.

Does he need to say it? Look at what he's been doing in Portland and Seattle.

The only thing that all of us have seen in Portland and Seattle were the mob trying to destroy and take over the city and the governors are allowed it to happen

Trump's actions are saying all we need to know. He's a FASCIST.

For wanting the rule of law? What!?

*sorry, not conflate. Confuse.

was fine for Kamala Harris to stand right next to a polling place with a microphone and try to intimidate voters?

I'm not aware of the incident, but isn't that conflating the right to free speech with the right to keep and bear arms?

It wouldn't be fine if she did that. But she didn't, so it's irrelevant.

No, he doesn’t and he never said that, come on now...

Trump hates democracy. So do his supporters.

This headline could be featured in a future historical compilation of the tragic downfall of the American republic.

It's been happening for over 30 years thanks to NRA head Wayne LaPierre. He's a terroristic greedy loudmouth who's been shrieking this hysterical crap and he's got all those traitor sheep who listen to him and fill his pockets.

And Trump wants to congregate them into a Blackshirts/Tonton Macoute.

No, he doesn’t and he never said that, come on now...

These fascist scum have shown their true colors this year. They are terrorists.

Have you taken a look at what is going on in Philadelphia or have you seen what is happened in Chicago over the weekend? Do you see what’s going on in Baltimore and Detroit and in Los Angeles? That’s where the real terrorism is taking place.

And Trump wants to congregate them into a Blackshirts/Tonton Macoute.

No, he doesn’t and he never said that, come on now...

"I'll be back later. Gonna head to the polling place with my gun in case I have to kill someone."

was fine for Kamala Harris to stand right next to a polling place with a microphone and try to intimidate voters?

Because she supposedly wasnt in the polling place but was only near it. Although the microphone and sound system overcame that and allowed her to campaign when she isnt supposed to be able to.

Huge distinction, as mentioned above me.

Sorry, it’s already illegal to carry a firearm in such a place...try again:

In, or near?

Gun carrying wacks: another sign of American sickness.

These fascist scum have shown their true colors this year. They are terrorists. And Trump wants to congregate them into a Blackshirts/Tonton Macoute. And who paid that judge to rule in their favor?

Where I come from 'booth capturing' used to be common during election time a few decades ago, and many of the polling booths were 'captured' by gunmen who wanted to scare away genuine voters and replace them with fake votes for their preferred candidate. Nice to see the US learning a few things from my third world country, generally it is the other way round.

All the right wing, white supremisists, redneck whack jobs won't be happy.

Sorry, it’s already illegal to carry a firearm in such a place...try again:

Regardless of whether or not you have a concealed weapons permit, the following places do not allow the carry of firearms:

– Any place of nuisance as defined in s. 823.05;

– Any police, sheriff, or highway patrol station;

– Any detention facility, prison, or jail;

– Any courthouse or courtroom (the Judge can still carry a firearm, however);

– Any polling place;

Why in the hell would people want to walk around a voting area showing off their assault style weapons?

They're morons.

“There are dozens — we’ve had numerous complaints,” Meingast told the judge. “There are voters who are afraid. There are election workers who are afraid to go to work on Election Day.”

Screw 'em. Let Bubba hold his toy.

didnt all the leftists already vote by mail?

You can expect gangs of right wing gun carrying thugs turning away people from the polls.

-14 ( +3 / -17 )

It's just such an odd thought for me. "Well, gonna grab my gun and go to the polling place. Be back later."

What are they going to do? Shoot someone standing in line to vote?

Who would need to go to a polling center with a gun?

Republicans seeking to intimidate voters.

Only in the worst failed states in the world would you even imagine the idea of citizens openly carrying guns around at the ballot box.

Truly sick country with truly sick people.

Bass: I would worry more about liberals taking or burning ballot boxes

Odd thing to worry about, but I won't get in the way of your stress.

I would worry more about liberals taking or burning ballot boxes...what’s wrong with people?

This is not surprising. She's a Democrat,

Trying to keep lethal weapons away from a democratic election seems totally sensible, so you're right, not surprising.

America is so backward sometimes it's mind-boggling.

Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, had exceeded her authority this month

This is not surprising. She's a Democrat, like Michigan dictator Governor Gretchen Whitmer, whose lockdown orders were declared unconstitutional by the state's supreme court, then she just issues new orders. Jeez...

So these wing nuts can threaten voters, then?
