Georgia election probe report to remain secret for now

Thank God for men and women like Raffensperger. It takes a lot to stand up to a coup.

From other accounts of today I heard, it sounds like charges for some individuals are pretty much certain, but no clues were given as to who this might be - a wide number are caught up in the criminal investigation. The big question is whether it includes Trump or his closest associates, and that's uncertain.

“I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have,” Trump had said. “Because we won the state.”

The smoking gun...we'll find out about all the other coup machinations, and all the other Repubs participating, when the indictments start to flow...

Good thing that Georgia is a single-party audio recording state. I've been recording phone calls for a few decades. Worked at a huge company where every call was recorded and retained for at least 2 weeks.

If you are going to ask someone to do something illegal, don't use a phone, cell phone, the internet, or mail. In person communications on a hiking trail, not near the trail head, and it is even better if you get someone else to be at the meeting, not you. Nothing should be written.

Trump knows all this, but got lazy as President. He'd going to be found guilty. Whether he gets just a fine or jail, I don't know. A year in a Georgia jail would be good, though I can see him training small-time (relatively) criminals there how to ponzi millions.

To ask for a recount is fine, as it is his right

But to ask to obtain a specific # of votes to win, that's something ya hear from corrupt politicians

The copying of data and software from election equipment in rural Coffee County by a computer forensics team hired by Trump allies.

They actually trespassed and sneaked in restricted areas to do this, to access and copy voters data, which is obviously illegal
